Whose Buying $200 lottery tickets??
$FPFCQ @ .003!
$FPFCQ @ .0025!
Somebody just bought 50k. Is there news?
Anyone here buying this? I thought this was converted to a chapter 7 and equity is to be cancelled. If this is the case what is with the volume lately?
Convert to Chapter 7
http://www.scribd.com/doc/129283333/FPFCQ-Motion-to-convert-to-Chapter-7
All equity interests are cancelled under Chapter 7 filings
03/25/2013 237 Order Approving Debtor's Motion for an Order Converting this Case to a Proceeding Under Chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code, Pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 1112(a). (related document(s)222, 235) Order Signed on 3/25/2013. (TMB) (Entered: 03/25/2013)
Not anymore... unless it becomes a pump and dump play again before the Ch7 is approved.
And that is not likely, that crew made their money twisting facts and left a long time ago.

Is the symbol for this stock going to change when the bankruptcy is over?
These situations are just ripe for the quick pump and dump where the Operating Company (Bank) is being acquired and new money is being injected into the newly acquired entity but the shares and debt were issued at the holding company and the receipt of funds by the holdco isn't enough to reach the shareholders. The headlines look real good and it is easy for the savvy pumper to confuse the unsuspecting public by twisting the wording or leaving out the important details and telling them that "our shares!!!!!! are being bought out !!!!!! Wowza!!!!!!". Then the effective date of the sale passes and the shareholder who just got duped is left wondering why they haven't yet been paid for their shares. By that time the pumper is long gone. In fact when they are telling you to back up the truck and that it is going "to da moon" they are already in the liquidation phase.
It only went up to .07 on false information being spread about on the message boards.
And soon dropped back down to where it is about now once those posts were proven wrong.
Unless there is another considerable full court press 'pump' put on again on baseless information....
...I would not expect anything near that kind of action.
It is currently being valued at what it should remain after CH11....either all equity cancelled, or, a real estate agency and title company.
But I hope it works out for you again, it appears you did well.
Unfortunately many did not because the last time it ran to .07 it must have left quite a few folks holding for a loss since they bought in on the hope of something that was not true.
Oh for sure this stock will never grow above 1.00
. But at its current price it's a quick buck as a penny stock. Last month it went up to. 07 and I made 2000 bucks....... I am hoping everyone else would like to do the same.....
There are no other operating subsidiaries of FPFCQ. They only had two, First Place Bank and First Place Holdings Inc.
First Place Holdings Inc has no active operations.
It sold it's main subsidiary First Place Insurance about 1 1/2yrs ago.
First Place Holdings Inc does have two more subsidiaries... it still owns 100% of a real estate agency, First Place Real Estate, Ltd. and 75% of a title company, Title Works Agency, LLC.
As far as I can confirm.
It appears that First Place Real Estate is operating under Caldwell Banker as a local RE.
http://www.yelp.com/biz/coldwell-banker-first-place-real-estate-youngstown
And the title company has five employees...
http://www.manta.com/c/mmlglh8/title-works-agency-llc
Neither would bring great value to this stock....if they survive the CH11 process.
From what I understand, Talmers only bought first place bank. Other subsidiaries of first place financial Corp were not sold. Again this is what I was told by a agent responsible for the Corp. And for as cheep as the stock is, I will gamble the whole five dollars I invested. My understanding is the stock will resume at the last high before bankruptcy.....
FPFCQ has no other operating assets left. Every operating asset went to Talmer in the 363 Sale .
I'll let you go back and proofread what you just wrote. I looked at the court docket on PACER (cost me $3.10) Looks like there are $71 million that will go to the Trust Preferred. The estate is still hemorrhaging cash to the tune of multi-millions of dollars a month.
From what I understand, first place financial Corp has dropped the dead weight of the bank. But still has other holdings that do profit........ If a 2.1 billion Corp, only sold the bank for a few hundred million...... The rest is out to play.
Next few days, from what I've been told
It will take many months, unless this is preemptively bought out, which seems to be a possibility. Does someone have a handle on the the net operating losses the company is carrying forward? Has the stock in the bank been officially abandoned yet -
Does anyone know how long till this is moved out of bankruptcy?
I am buying this like wildfire! Once bankruptcy is over, stock will be back up to 1.00+
Just spoke to a officer about all the shares in have. Well folks, this stock is set to jump to 1.00 per share with the closing of the bankruptcy court closing the case. And at. 005 per share, I am poised to set a record at 10,000% increase....... Spend five bucks to make 500!!
that has been 2days in a row fpfcq traded very low volume trades. something up.
LOL....Maybe I'm wrong but it doesn't even remotely make sense, as many on IHUB do, to call it trader manipulation because it is an illiquid sub-penny stock.
380 shares sold at $2.12. iguess another computer glitch.
I'll never understand that exactly. I always tend to think it's a computer glitch now that Market Makers are almost completely done without any human interaction.
Someone is buying this back up
It looks like this play is over... It made a lower low Friday and the board is too quiet. imo
Selling has eased on the daily. Got out of a different stock... I'm still watching for a break of .0073 for a possible run here.
One of the primary functions of broker-dealers is to act as intermediaries for investors that are buying or selling stock. Often, to carry out that function, broker-dealers will handle such investor orders on a riskless principal basis. A riskless sale is one in which a broker-dealer, after having received an order to sell a security, sells the security as principal, at the same price, to satisfy that order. Regulations require broker-dealers to mark their proprietary riskless sell order as short if they don't own the security, even if the customer order to sell the security is long. Since broker-dealers generally don’t maintain a position, a significant number of such riskless sales are reported as short, even though the customer is selling long, and the broker-dealer intends to and will buy the shares from the long selling customer immediately after the proprietary riskless short sale takes place.
The link above the last one....
http://www.otcbb.com/asp/otce_short_interest.asp
The data for 1/1-1/15 will be available on 1/25 'Media Date'.
jacstraw the link was for last year short. do you have a link for this month. its already the 16th of jan.
jaxstraw that short Number equals about $6.00 worth of shares using that 12/31 link.
That data is meaningless when looking at any short 'position' on FPFCQ.
OTCShortReport is always meaningless because it reports FTDs, not short interest.
Here's the SEC explaining how this works :
..."fail to deliver" occurs when a broker-dealer fails to deliver securities to the party on the other side of the transaction on settlement date. There are many justifiable reasons why broker-dealers do not or cannot deliver securities on settlement date. A broker-dealer may experience a problem that is either unanticipated or is out of its control, such as....
(1) delays in customers delivering their shares to a broker-dealer,
(2) the inability to obtain borrowed shares in time for settlement,
(3) issues related to the physical transfer of securities, or
(4) the failure of a broker-dealer to receive shares it had purchased to fulfill its delivery obligations. Fails to deliver can result from both long and short sales."
http://regsho.com/faq/investorquestions.php
Please note that fails-to-deliver can occur for a number of reasons on both long and short sales. Therefore, fails-to-deliver are not necessarily the result of short selling, and are not evidence of abusive short selling or “naked” short selling
http://www.sec.gov/foia/docs/failsdata.htm
One cannot conclude looking at OTCShortReport as to short positions,( or NSS and or even Abusive NSS), the data cannot provide a specific cause and one must use other reports to determine specifics.
For example one must use the Bi-Monthly Short INTEREST report to determine actual SHORT POSITIONS.
