Hello HONU, good to hear from You. You're 100% correct. This is a marathon race, not a sprint, that's for certain.
IMO the recent Duparquet acquistion/consolidation may be a catalyst for our share price to move higher BEFORE we get Springpole permitted. I haven't spoken to Paul or Dan about that yet, but I think it has that potential. I'll pass along any conversations I have with them to the board.
As You said, the going will be slow, but the rewards in the end should be great.
Still here also. This is going to get exciting. Been doing a lot of the research here. Excited with the new developments Dan's doing a great job. At time. Reminds me 2001 hang on fellas
Hello to all FMG hopefuls/ faithful. Still here, still holding and adding as we head towards the inevitable. As I said, patience is key here. Reward awaits all that remain believers.
Looking forward to serious high fives and the party atmosphere that shall follow.
Cheers !!
Agree with your observations. I remember Dan saying in one of the earlier interviews about Duparquet that the prior mine management had made some mistakes with pollution and I think it may have been centered around the leaching operations. That could be the biggest reason for the skepticism from the Townspeople. Without knowing more about the specifics involved with the pollution problem or how long ago that happened there still is quite possibly lingering effects to the town from that happening. IMO that may have been one of the biggest reasons our Management wanted to address our taking over the mine.
My guess is Dan may have told them we would be in a position to clean up some of the old problems that occurred there and gave them assurances we would not be making the same mistakes. I'm sure the folks around Duparquet are VERY interested in acquiring some of the high paying mining jobs that would be coming back with the mine's reopening. IMO that's most likely the reason so many folks showed up to hear what Dan had to say.
Depending on how our Management want to see this unfold we have opened the door to having multiple options if they want to partner with Barrick at Springpole or with Agnico at Duparquet. We'll have to see how it all plays out, but we seem to be in a great position to be able to control our own destiny. That control will most certainly get stronger as the silver price and the FM share price move higher. I've heard multiple prognosticators say silver is on the verge of heading much higher fairly soon. When the silver price hits $50/oz. again just imagine the market cap and buying power FM shares will have.
Agree with all the great points you made and I'll add two more. What Dan said, his tone of voice and body language when he talked about Springpole all seemed to indicate permitting is progressing normally there. The response of the regulators did not produce any surprises. That is great news.
The people in the town of Duparquet have some concerns (I would too if I lived there) but were happy that First Mining took the step of meeting with them. If First Mining does remediation and other things right there they will have strong community and governmental support, which is great in any location.
Being an Agnico shareholder I can tell you they are the real deal. If we can partner with them I would be very pleased. Partnering with Barrick at Springpole would also be great. Partnering with First Majestic would be even better.
Thanks for posting the Crux interview.
Some of what I took from what Dan said was that they still have plans to move forward with the drilling around Springpole. He made the comment and I remember him saying this before that they want to show POTENTIAL STRATEGIC PARTNERS (I believe that to be Barrick) that there's district size deposits around Springpole and not just what's at the Springpole site. That's why we made all those deals with the smaller land holders around Springpole last year.
I totally agree with Dan that we need to expand those areas to get a JV deal or partner if that's indeed where they're headed, but even if that didn't happen it also insures a much longer mine life at Springpole anyway. We know it would have to be done anyway.
What he said about Duparquet is really exciting. We have multiple strategies we can take there. First of all there's a lot more gold there than I think anyone is giving it credit for, so when I think they can get a little better handle on how much more gold is there we'll be in a very good position. Second, Dan mentioned the other mining entities that are around Duparquet, I believe he said Agnico had a mine close to Duparquet, so there may be some sort of deal to be struck with them going forward. Acquring Duparquet was an excellent move on their part and now we just have to leverage what we have there to our advantage.
Keith is going to make this work one way or another. I believe that it's going to happen. All we need is just this move in the PM markets to do it's thing. As Matt said the Green Shoots are there and the investor's are looking for the companies to put their money into. I don't see a better positioned Company than FMG.
Latest Crux Investor discussion with Dan.
It's simply amazing how much gold they're finding at PC and the surrounding properties. Auteco hit the jackpot with this deal.
I'm interested to see what the new updated numbers will be after all the additional findings they've made are added to the existing totals. They've only just scratched the surface on what may be on the rest of that huge land holding.
I'll have to make a note to myself to ask Dan about any news between FMG and Auteco on what we're still holding at PC and what might happen with our remaining 20% stake. I'm assuming all this gold they continue to find is 20% ours. If that's the case we should just hold on to it is my guess.
More great Pickle Crow results.

Here's the Man they named the Lassonde Curve after. This Guy knows what's going on and in this interview he gives some sage advice to us as usual. He thinks 2023 could be the year for gold. We'll see.
Note what he says about the senior miners being flush with cash to buy now.
Thanks, let's see if they answer them.
Seablue, quite frankly, when it comes to what's going to happen with FMG as a mining entity the politics of Justin Trudope scare the Hell out of me. IMO he's a loose cannon that's capable of screwing up everything he touches. We know he's a GND advocate and most likely scorns mining (although he may never admit it in public).
If mining weren't such a big industry in Canada and employ so many people I would be really worried, but I think that because of mining being so important for the Canadian economy maybe he won't/can't fuck it up too badly. That is of course yet to be determined, but I HOPE that's the case anyway.
IMO what Trudope is capable of doing in Canada is worrisome, but there's not much we can do about that until he's finally gone.
We're all for clean, renewable energy, but it has to come in due time and most importantly has to be economically viable. The biggest part of this whole problem is that they're attempting to force their agenda down everyone's throat and that's very dangerous. I did see Xi put Trudope in his place and got a good laugh out of it. Trudope reminds me of a spoiled-rotten, smart ass Kid. He needs a good ass whipping from someone.
Ok, I sent your questions to Crux Investor. I also asked if there were any new developments in the permitting of Springpole.
THanks for posting the MacLeod article. Wow that guy can write! His articles are usually very lengthy, but I always enjoy reading them. Sounds like the Eurozone and Japanese banks will be the first to crumble. I'm sure those in North America will follow in short order.
Did you see the video of Justin Castro kissing Xi's behind at the G20? Xi basically blew him off. Justin is pathetic. But at least his mind seems intact and he does not sniff children in public.
Castro is fullly committed to this social credit score nonsense. The US also seems to be drifting in that direction. Not good.
Hopefully the new green deal agenda fades a bit and the miners can focus on getting things done rather than trying to follow some bogus agenda. I'm all for renewable energy, but the joker politicans in charge have zero idea of what is required and the costs involved. It has the potential to distract miners and costs them a lot of time and money.
Goldman Sucks is saying the bear market's NOT over and there will be more pain to come. Even they can get it right on occasion. LOL

I was just checking out the management page on the Company website and noticed our relatively new CFO listed there. Upon reading her past job roles I see she was Chief of Staff of Capital Projects at BARRICK GOLD.
Hmmmm....that may be more than just coincidence IMO. I'll definitely ask Dan about that when I speak to him. Could she be a conduit from Barrick to FMG? Maybe so.
Click onto her picture to she her past jobs.

Another excellent article by Alistair Macleod. When the banksters totally destroy their fiat currencies then the System will have to revert back to REAL MONEY and commodities. I believe it's coming.

a
Yes, and those you mentioned are but the tip of the iceberg I'm afraid.
This government and the bureaucracy that's been formed since it's inception is becoming more and more corrupt to people because the Deep State can't hide it any longer. In some cases they don't try and hide it.
It occurs through-out the government from the banking system/Fed to the FBI and DOJ in law enforcement. The Dems are using their climate change rules to manage every facet of the government. We see first hand how that's making people's lives worse and more under the heavy hand of government.
This has been going on longer than most people could imagine, but finally is coming to some very bad conclusion or some sort of historical change for the better will have to happen. IMO we're getting closer to that event coming every day. Just this past week at the G20 meeting, the head Asshole, Klaus Schawb, was there making his case again for major world changes. We know that means disaster for all freedom-loving people.
They don't want the sheeple to know they are running a scam with the dollar. Along with social security, Ft. Knox gold, money laundering through Ukraine, etc. The sheeple are so blind and misdirected by a corrupt media that they know nothing and don't take the time to learn anything.
Well, did we think this wasn't coming at some point in time. LOL
The Fed is calling any crypto, but their's nonsense. They can do their digital dollar scam, but anybody else's crypto attempt is just nonsense.
Why has it taken so long for them to come out and say? They'll never admit to anyone they have the biggest scam going. It may get the Sheeple to actually thinking for themselves.

My guess is there were many pissed off FF shareholders that thought the same as we did. I'm going to mention it to Dan when I speak to him. I didn't see anywhere on the email I received that we would have to listen to 6ix's portfolio of customers about them also. That was BS.
I would request that you make an inquiry as to where they currently stand for the "starter pit" at Duparquet. You may recall Dan mentioning it in the last interview that Matt from Crux made with him. I assume that if they're doing another video interview Dan has some updated information to impart to us, not just the same old shit again.
It's also been a very long time since I've heard Dan mention any interest in the Company from other larger Players. I know he can't speak to any specific talks or behind the curtain dealings, but it would be nice to hear if there has been any interest since the Duparquet deal was announced.
thanks
You are not alone. I also thought it would only involve FF and when I found out FF would be about one hour in I just turned it off. I listened to the replay later. You did not miss anything.
I hope in the future they are better at communicating the nature of the event - i.e. - Dan will be speaking for 10 or 15 minutes as part of a larger presentation involving 10 or 15 other people.
Crux Investor posted on another board they are interviewing FF again next week. Does anyone have any questions for them?
I made the effort to listen to what I thought was a webinar about JUST First Mining Gold and their relation to the Lassonde Curve. To my dismay it was about every mining company that 6ix handles.
Needless to say I didn't bother listening to the entire webinar and I think Dan and his part in the thing was near the end of the presentation. Maybe I'll see the replay and hopefully just foreward it to our part. I was not happy about the way they did this shit.
Every article about Cathie Wood is her bitching about how the Banksters are going to fuck things up worse by raising rates. LOL
Come on Cathie it can't all be your way forever. Ya have to take the bad times with the good times. Her fund is losing it's ass (down 60%) since the first of the year and she's been crying about it ever since. Jay and his minions have been laying the "Wood" to Cathie since rates have risen and the easy money has gone away. HA
Reminisce of the crypto BS. With easy money gone they all collapse.
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/fed-risks-plunging-u-economy-165259514.html
Well, these holes aren't what they're finding at Pickle Crow, but they're not bad.
It all adds up in the end.
Ha Ha Ha Ha.....couldn't have happened to a better bunch of Suckers.
Easy come, easy go!!!

Seablue, my guess is that the Lassonde Curve discussion would be about both.
That being Dan gives a general broad talk about how the Curve was formulated and works and then a more specific discussion on where FMG fits into the progression of the Curve.
You may recall Keith brought up the Lassande Curve in the first webinar he was on well over a year ago now and it has come up more than once since then, so they're convinced of it's accuracy and truth in forecasting a future mine timeline. I believe the Curve is used broadly in the mining community also.
This is what was on the e-mail I was sent.
EVENT INVITE: Discover the Lassonde Curve through a series of case studies and what opportunities and challenges a company faces at any point. Join our CEO and Director, Dan Wilton, to learn where First Mining is, how we got there and where we're going.
I would have thought these would have gone out to all shareholders, so You may want to check you're in box. I got mine on this past Friday. Attached to the email was a link to register for the webinar.
The guy with the hyphenated last name and some of the other folks are allegedly trying to arrange travel from their current location in the Bahamas to Dubai - which does not have extradition with the US.
Meanwhile, in discussing more mundane FF news, do you know if Dan's discussion on Friday is going to be a general discussion of the curve or if it will be tailored specifically to FF? I am assuming it will be tailored specifically to FF.
IMO most of what the article says COULD be true. I know he was the 2nd largest donor to the Democratic party because they've talked about that on the MSM.
It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if most of the other things that were talked about in the article are true also. I'm sure there's going to be a long list of crimes this Guy has broken and we know the policticans are right in there trying to get their cut too.
I laughed out loud when I watched the short video in the article. It was very well done.
Check this out - don't know how much is true but it does not bode well for that young man or crypto. What a scam.

Scandals like this can only help precious metals and companies like First Mining.
I wanted to share with the board that I received an email from the Company on this past Friday that Dan will be doing a webinar on this coming Friday the 18th at 12:00 EST on the Lassonde Curve. I assume the link to watch it will be on the FMG website before next Friday.
His discussion is titled "A journey through the Lassonde Curve" and it should be very interesting. I'm looking forward to hearing what he has to say and where he thinks we are in the Curve timeline.
Yes, more revelations are being turned up now that the shit has hit the fan. All of these crypto schemes are grossly over-levered and supported by very little real money. They're basically Ponzi schemes. I'm waiting for all the Bitcoin stories to come out in due time.
All the Suckers that got scammed are coming to the realization their cyber-money dreams were just that and they should've been buying physical gold and silver with their fiat dollars.
LoL yes check out the short Twatter vid of Caroline Ellison , top shelf shtuff indeed ! https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/ftx-held-just-900mm-liquid-assets-vs-9bn-liabilities-video-emerges-confirming-alameda-knew
When I read this article it became so obviously clear to me that this whole crypto BS is just that a big scam. Note it mentions in the article that when it was revealed that the majority of the equity in the Scam Artist's secondary Company (Alameda Research) was comprised of it's own FTT tokens NOT in dollars, other fiat, and especially not gold.
That of course prompted the Binance CEO to right away get all his money out of FTX and in turn that collapsed it. The moral of the story is that this crypto is not money it's being created by people that make it their money. All fiat is really the same and when fiat is debased and made worthless the only REAL money is gold and silver.
This article explains how it all went down. Literally. We could see Bitcoin go on a very similar path.
https://www.kitco.com/news/2022-11-11/CZ-breaks-silence-with-a-blow-by-blow-account-of-Binance-s-role-in-the-FTX-collapse.html
yeah thats pretty funny . Fried won't receive punishment due to the $ he sent to the Demoncrats election fund . LoL crypto is as big of a scam as this ----> https://yepyou.com/
So, the Scam-Artist dubbed the next Warren Buffett was propping up his various companies with customer funds. LOL. That tickles the Hell out of me!
What do you bet this Dickhead doesn't see one day in jail.
I hope every last Sucker that sunk money into this FTX scam loses it all. They deserve it. Looks like all the rates are jumping the sinking crypto ship. Good.

Recent Jim Rogers article and his current outlook. Of course he loves the commodity sector, but you may be surprised at what his favorite pick is and it's not gold.
He doesn't think the move down in the markets are over yet either.

Rob over at Gold Silver Pros is very, very honest and frank as I don't believe I've ever seen him in this video. He talks about what the Bankers are buying.....gold.
Bitcoin made some billionaires and have made some of them a lot poorer recently. The market giveth and the market taketh away. OUCH! LOL

Here's a recent video done by Dan speaking to the 100% acquisition of Duparquet.
He talks about a "starter" pit of a million or so ounces they could mine there at some point before anything is done at Springpole.
Can you say the end of the Petrodollar is here. I think so.
It's looking more and more like the Saudi's are switching sides to me.
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/chinese-president-xi-visit-saudi-arabia-year-end
Hi Tommy, it has been a while, welcome back.
The Company is still working on permitting our flagship Springpole property and I wouldn't expect to see that completed until 2024. I believe they want to have a mine build-out plan done by 2025 and if that all goes well I probably wouldn't expect any actual mining going on there before 2027. Everything is still contingent on getting the financing done, but I'm expecting good things to happen in that regard after the permitting is in hand.
If You weren't aware they recently acquired 100% of a property in Quebec called Duparquet. This is a property that has had a lot of exploration already done there and it's my understanding that there are target areas there that may be mined fairly soon. Dan has talked about it with no real specifics on some of his recent videos when he spoke about Duparquet, so they seem to be looking at the possibility of doing some mining there in the not too distant future. Dan hasn't elaborated on when it could be, but I think they're looking at it as a way to get some revenue going. I think they're currently working on the gameplan.
I hope to speak with Dan maybe by end of this month and that will definitely be a question I have for him. Duparquet adds 40% more gold reserves to the FMG holdings, so this was a major addition to our portfolio, but like everything else we're not getting any credit for it from the share price side.
If You haven't read anything on Duparquet I suggest you check out the PR's on the company website and also go on UTube and check out Dan's last 3 or 4 videos about that property. IMO we got a VERY good deal on it, especially for what we paid.
I can't see the miners making a serious move higher until the gold price breaks out above the old highs, but we may not be that far away from happening now. IMO 2023 will be a great year for the PM sector.
It's been a long time since Iv'e been here. Do you know when the company will start minning one of their projects?
Another article speaking to the recent "whale" mystery buyers of gold. Let's see if the move we saw on Friday continues into this coming week.
https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2022-11-06/massive-mystery-gold-buyers-appear-metals-rocket
Another very insightful interview with George Gammon. Listen to what he says about the BRICS countries and how he explains what they're doing. I totally agree with his views. He also likes the miners and thinks they're a good buy right now.
We're seeing some big moves in the metals markets today. I'm not totally sure yet why we're seeing this nice reversal higher.
Gold is up $52, Silver up $1.50, GDX up 9%, GDXJ up 9%, so these are strong up moves and I just heard some people on the biz channel talking about it.
Maybe someone on Wall Street hit the BUY button and now everyone is piling in?
It could be a short-term spike higher before another leg down. Next week may tell the story.
Here are a couple of articles:

Well, that's it in a nutshell isn't it. 18 wheelers run off diesel and if there's not enough diesel to go around depending on how bad the shortage is people could eventually be going hungry because of it.
It certainly opens the door for a lot of other problems as well. Diesel is the life blood of the economy because without it not much is getting delivered and the economy comes to a screeching halt.
