Agree with your observations. I remember Dan saying in one of the earlier interviews about Duparquet that the prior mine management had made some mistakes with pollution and I think it may have been centered around the leaching operations. That could be the biggest reason for the skepticism from the Townspeople. Without knowing more about the specifics involved with the pollution problem or how long ago that happened there still is quite possibly lingering effects to the town from that happening. IMO that may have been one of the biggest reasons our Management wanted to address our taking over the mine.

My guess is Dan may have told them we would be in a position to clean up some of the old problems that occurred there and gave them assurances we would not be making the same mistakes. I'm sure the folks around Duparquet are VERY interested in acquiring some of the high paying mining jobs that would be coming back with the mine's reopening. IMO that's most likely the reason so many folks showed up to hear what Dan had to say.

Depending on how our Management want to see this unfold we have opened the door to having multiple options if they want to partner with Barrick at Springpole or with Agnico at Duparquet. We'll have to see how it all plays out, but we seem to be in a great position to be able to control our own destiny. That control will most certainly get stronger as the silver price and the FM share price move higher. I've heard multiple prognosticators say silver is on the verge of heading much higher fairly soon. When the silver price hits $50/oz. again just imagine the market cap and buying power FM shares will have.
