I think the major concern for most is the 2020 bond failure risk.
Customers, sales, and margins increased YOY with the help of weather (its colder this year) but administrative costs increased hand in hand so its a wash despite the weather-enabled good fortune with sales, and oil price related margin increase (both of which are not guaranteed moving forward)
These guys may survive, if so they are probably deeply undervalued, but no one is likely to trust this stock enough to put serious money into share price growth for a long time considering others in the sector have shown much more consistent results. Everyone that bought for div yield is gone too, which in the MLP space is basically everyone.
Share price this low means risk of NYSE delisting also...
My two cents.
Okay but what about the increase in customers by about 25000? The increase in tank exchanges to almost 54000? The increased volume by a few million gallons YOY? Debt is because of acquisitions. Acquisitions bring in more money though.
Bad news, bad news, desperate sounding earnings report, looming bond failure for 2020, div is cut.
Half of the people still selling probably have $5.00 plus cost basis and just want to get the hell out of dodge. If my holdings were in a taxable account you sure as hell better believe the tax writeoff is worth more than any hope of future growth.
These guys screwed the pooch buying an $800 million dead in the water flop from a scamming company in the name of diversification. $15/share down to $1.14 last check. Investor confidence is GONE.
At this point I keep it in my portfolio just to remind myself of the lessons learned.
Guess i was right all along. Analysis pays off boys
Does anyone else think these drops are excessive?
How does it go down double digits everyday. Unbelieveable.
Let me know if I'm incorrect. 30 days under a buck we get the delist letter. Don't remember the details..then if we don't rise above a buck it's pink sheet time...reverse split to save fgp, or reorg to rid them of us bag holders...needless to say I'm glad I sold half...lets see what happens next!!! Glta!!!
They wouldnt reverse split unless a delisting was imminent
Pretty much thrown in the towel. Sold half couple weeks ago. Now waiting to see if they reorg or reverse split to finish unit holders off..just my opinion of course.glta!!!
Guessing the drop is from the cfo resigning.
It's done now.
Finally removed the dividends, now turn the company around.
They might be removing the dividends, just to recover.
Why is stock plummeting down??
Thanks bigee.
Not yet. We will know in 3 months.
Is FGP still going to be paying divs going forward with Q4 Loss? I read here that they suspended distribution?

Thanks in advance,
As Puerto Rico infrastructure improves I suspect that FGP will rev up. Winter is about here in USA too. Around here we have FGP tanks at gas stations for campers and RV's etc. This is a $2-3 stock IMO. Give it 90 days.. Good Trades!
Hey Jett...I'm just curious about what would justify an entry point on this stock for you!!! I've been buying in the low 4 dollar range this go 'round...Have had this stock as a big winner in the past with a value near 20 a share and a 50 cent divi each quarter...Sold my DK and put the profit in DKL waiting to see what happens there!!! GLTA!!!
P.S. Need to brush of my DVD of GIANT!!! Great movie!!!
Agreed but looking for attractive entry in this range.
Damn down she goes oh well closed my position a while ago. Bad earnings history
Revenue of $454.66M (+19.8% Y/Y) beats by $23.36M.
Ferrellgas Partners (NYSE:FGP): Q1 EPS of -$0.49 misses by $0.19.
Let's compare last quarter to this quarter. I want to see the debt reduce.
Technical this stock looks ready
You got 2.5 years to buy more. Not going over 10 dollars anytime soon.
Wished I had waited a little longer to buy but it's in an IRA so I don't plan to go anywhere soon.
Wished their revenue would recover faster than they thought, they mentioned that hiking the divvies a little is not out of the question.
You made a good move Triple T....I was in but jumped out before the surge. GLTY
Looks good, I'm above water.....
American Bulls posted a buy signal after the market closed yesterday!

Somebody wansum!!!!!!!
Agreed with what I see in the company... interesting to see share price not following suit
It is going to bounce somewhere....that was a pretty positive article. They didn't mention the lawsuit.
I still believe!!!!!!

They reduced Big Time!
Not to ruin your luck or anything but American Bulls still has this listed as a short. That lawsuit is not doing it any good and their remarks that they "may reduce" the dividend doesn't help either.....did they reduce or not?
