Picked up another 185........can't see an energy stock taking a nose dive. Crossed fingers and a nice divvy!!
Just bought 373.......lets see where she goes (6.50)
Still thinking on this one!!!!!....damn!!!
I sold my FGP. I saw after I bought that they have a class action against them and are considering lowering the dividend. I am looking at OXLC, CRF, and CLM. All yield around 23% with long dividend histories. They all have pretty stable price history. What are your thoughts.
I read that Gold should go up with a Trump Presidency!
Wished I could......just inherited a bunch of GG, don't know how much yet.
I just bought some of this. I doubt it will go much lower...
I updated that post and put a link to American Bulls showing it a short in case you missed that. I stick FGP in Stockcharts.com and get a wacky chart. I did find a place to chart it and the drop has been quick and dramatic.
Ferrell was pushing 30 bucks not long ago!!
I would say probably shorts. American Bulls has it listed as a short. This will bounce soon.

I am making bank on these Marijuana stocks and plan on converting to dividend paying.....but that will probably happen after the bounce.
This stock is a steal at this price. Near 52 week low and yield at + 25%
Probably crude prices!!!
What happened here? Why the great decline in this? Anyone know?
Bottom bounce play - gla - FGP (RSI = 9)
That is a great move GLTY.
I am loading up pays 12% divy
WOW! Wish I could! FGP has done well for me always. Love their Dividend!
Anyone Else Buying in on the low dip here ?
I have been buy this stock, just added more yesterday, going to hold and collect the high dividend.... They also purchased an oil stock which in time should pay off. They are trying to diversify....

yeah watching a stock daily can get taxing especially this sector this Winter... Up big today... can that hold or better...
Today's PPS has started to worry me. Wishing I had taken the slight loss and sold at $17 to rebuy today. Ugh.
Guess I'll keep waiting and get another dividend payout or two in the process.
I'm happy with the low PPS. Was able to buy at $20.02... Dividend payout in a couple weeks.
I saw the numbers for propane and they're more than ready for Winter (Oct 30 week report)... which is why I'm sure we're down... Hank! Sell more accessories...
I don't doubt that. It happened last time, NG spikes and so did propane. However I'm not certain what to expect for winter. They say it's El Niño!
I'm figuring if its a hard Winter propane may return strong as NG pipelines fail to handle the demand for the heating oil to NG conversions (and were there propane to NG conversions too?).
Once a bottom is firmly in it will be a strong average down option as needed.
There's still a very sweet dividend there, however. I might have to invest a little more with the PPS being slightly lower than it's been.

Ferrellgas Partners (NYSE:FGP): FQ4 EPS of -$0.64 may not be comparable to consensus of -$0.22.
Revenue of $382.51M (-4.1% Y/Y) misses by $21.5M.
Ferrellgas Partners (NYSE:FGP) -3.2% AH after announcing a public offering of 6.235M common units, with an underwriters option to purchase up to an additional 948,750 units.
When the volume increases profits increase. Margins don't change much as prices fluctuate. Profits are more a reflection of increased demand. so we are still golden.
How does the higher NG prices (sure to rise another dollar with storage from Winter not expected to replenish before Winter starts again)?
MadMoney caller just asked and he liked propane so it must be okay, just higher to the buyer... Ah... yes... as long as NG goes up they make money because they flip NG into propane for sale but if it would drop inventory at a high price above sale market price thereby losses....
Gas delivered is down and that should boost retailers profits. Someone in market bidding goofed on FGP...
Wow!!!
Thanks for the info FELLER.
Ferrellgas bought out our local LP gas company years back.
Everyone hates them because of the service.
Once you lose hometown service it never seems the same......Oh well, big business I guess!!
One day I decided to look at their portfolio.....Holy Cow!!!....and groing!!!!!
IRET is headquartered in my home town, where we're dealing with a lovely housing boom. They own mostly apartments and commercial real estate. Technically the last few years was a testament to their portfolio because Minneapolis wasn't doing as hot -- but it's come back.
They're building another 300+ apartments across from their multi-million dollar plaza, which they leased out to Hess.
"42 Year Distribution History" -- B-E-A-Utiful! :)
Watch IRET (I'm sure you do)
Housing market on the rebound...IMO of course
Look at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac the last couple of days.....somethings brewing with the revenues...
Solid investments....IMO..
Yeah, I could have even got in lower today, but... It's fine. I expect to be happy with this stock.
I've been really loyal to IRET for their solid performance, as it's been proven and solid for a long time. But, it was time to diversify slightly. :)
Just glancing at a 10 year chart at Google.com/finance, it looks like ~$11/share was the least it's been and $28/share was the highest.
Been watching for quite a while myself FELLER.
Will add when I have the funds, love the divvy.
IMO, LPgas is only going up......just wished I could've caught it at $15 awhile ago...
I'm proud to say I added FGP to my IRA today. The dividend is nice currently. It may not last for ever, but, I'll ride it for a few years perhaps.
Obviously FGP, like IRET, doesn't have a very active iHub board -- but that's OK. :)
Here are some key points for FGP:

Earnings estimates for 2012: a loss of 16 cents per share

Look at analyst opinions. Who are these experts. Look at the two week charts. Nice coin plus dividend. Sure the profits were way down. But eating your onward.
Nice bounce off the 52 week low. The experts were wrong again. And a quarterly paycheck to boot.
