Some news about Randy. Glad to know he still intends to fight!

Scroll down to video and watch clip. The special is on tonight at 10 on CNBC.
the huerta vs guida fight was awsome link
http://www.mmatko.com/roger-huerta-vs-clay-guida-fight-video-ufc-tuf-finale/
I watched a few of the fights, off and on, the last one was where one of the fighters knee popped. The only one I really remember from it was St.Pierre/Serra, lordy!
did you see best of UFC 2007 it was good got to see some matches i missed or from the undercards.
Kind of sad, but I understand where he is coming from after reading that. I hope he does well in whatever he chooses to venture into.
nice article.......was hoping to see randy again, but hopefully he'll be back.
OG
nice rumor of ortiz vs rua

Mark this post! Hendo will take care of Silva!
UFC 70 looking like the sh!t with this new addition
http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=news.detail&gid=8674
I should have taken some training, there is a CEO that I would love to give a good ole Southern Belle ass whooping to right now!!!!
I'll have to disagree. Sorry.
I'll say it now...Hendo will beat Silva.
I don't really see any 185lber giving silva any problems. He's just THAT good right now. I know anything can happen in any given fight, but anderson is just too damn smart to slip up.
Well, the news is out now, and they have made Monte Cox the President of M-1 Global. He manages several fighters in UFC and IFL, etc. This surely may explain what has been going on with some of the fighters not resigning.
May want to put SIBE on your watchlist 1.40 Looks like they are the ones who may have purchased M-1 Global. Website is registered to them according to a poster on Sherdog. I looked them up, they also have ties to Harrah's in Vegas putting on theatrical shows. They have different departments, and are expanding to Asia and Russia, and Europe.
Pure luck! Actually at the weigh ins and fights, you can get lucky and run into just about anyone at the fights or hotel. It is a lot of fun to go.
We might not have a heavyweight title fight for 9months. If UFC pursues the randy thing. It'll be UFC's best interest to try to keep couture and have him fight Big Nog.
OG
It'll prob be A.Silva v.s Y.Okami maybe in March. but they should sign....
Lindland, Lawler maybe have a cross promotion with WEC P.Filho V.s A.Silva.
If Travis Lutter, David Terrel and Evan Tanner can get back into things they could give A.Silva trouble.
OG
Well I've found my new drug. I love the sport. I'm so jealous you've got to meet gsp and randy. That's amazing.
So how are the classes going? And no, I don't do any of that, as you can tell from my pics. Just like to watch. And yes, some of this is getting to be a bit much (gay) as you put it so shortly! lol. Just read where Tito Ortiz and John Cena are part of "The Apprentice" celebrity season. Almost afraid to see what tomorrow brings. But hopefully something good. See ya!
New info about M-1 conference tomorrow.

Lesnar can actually fight too! I watched his first mma fight and he kicked the guys ass. Granted it was a no name, but still he could make some waves. I hate celebreality stuff, always gotta ruin things. If you're really into ufc and stuff, they just started a fantasy league. It's actually pretty cool. First time I've done something like it. Fun stuff.
Have to agree sounds kind of strage to say the least. As always some great fight and some ZZZZZZZZZZ....Exciting to see Lesnar in the mix his wrestling background alone is scary. Have not been on much and just found out about Randy THAT SUCKS!!!!
Morning everyone! Here is something I just found. Interesting.

FEDOR BACK IN FEBRUARY
By Loretta Hunt (loretta@thefightnetwork.com)
The new ownership of the M-1 Global promotion and its acquisition of number-one world ranked fighter Fedor Emelianenko will be announced Monday at a press conference in New York City. A conference invitation sent out today was devoid of the usual details, including the event’s host, who has gone to great lengths to keep its identity a secret till Monday. It is expected that the promotion will also announce its first event in the U.S. for February, with the PRIDE heavyweight champion headlining against an opponent yet to be named. Emelianenko will be in attendance.
The Fight Network was the first to report that the Russian-based M-1 Mix-Fight promotion recently sold to an undisclosed American buyer tied to the entertainment industry. Established in 1997, M-1 has held over 30 events, mostly in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Former M-1 owner and Russian businessman Vadim Finklestein, who manages the 31-year-old Sambo champion, facilitated the signing of Emelianenko (26-1, 1 NC) to the revamped organization, which trumped offers made by the UFC, Strikeforce, and Mark Cuban’s HDNet Fights, among other rival promotions. Finklestein and colleague Apy Echteld will remain with M-1 in executive positions, while a CEO will be announced Monday as well.
Last Thursday, UFC heavyweight champion Randy Couture relinquished his title, citing the UFC's inability to sign Emelianenko as one of his reasons for resignation. Emelianenko is six months removed from his last performance, a first round submission over 2000 Olympic Greco-Roman wrestling silver medalist Matt Lindand at April 14's Bodog Fight "Clash of the Nations" in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Ah chit, looks like Randy has to wait 9 months before he can do anything. This is an interview with Randy I just found!
http://www.sherdog.com/news/news.asp?n_id=9455
LOL. Well now we've got something to look forward to hopefully. I'm starting my own jui-jitsu training this Mon. Do you train as well?
Meant to send that post to you! Sorry.
Not for sure, but Randy's statement surely leads to the fact that he wants to fight Fedor, he even have up his belt already according to TFN. I' say someone would be crazy not to have that fight! but UFC not signing Fedor was one of the reasons Randy stated he resigned. Fedor wouldn't sign because Dana wanted an exclusive fight contract. Guess we will all have to wait and see! And HOPE! lol
Oh really. That shows what kind of a person Randy truly is. He wants the best. Is this a for sure thing?
He left UFC mostly so he COULD fight Fedor! Looks like whoever bought M-1 will be getting a super match sometime.
OH WOW! I can't believe that. I'm actually glad to see him go out on top. Fedor would've been a great fight for him. Guess we'll never know now.
Nope! And if you haven't read it already, Randy has resigned from the UFC as a fighter and announcer/analyst. Talk about a shake up! Just read it on the BKMP board.

So no UFC for Fedor???
Edit: This is an excerpt from TFN:
The Fight Network broke the story today that Fedor Emelianenko has signed with the M-1 Mix Fight Championship group out of Russia. Loretta Hunt of The Fight Network reports that the group has been purchased by an undisclosed American entertainment related group. The company is slated to do their first U.S show in January or February with Fedor headlining the show.
Thank you! Forgot about that. Serra vs. Hughes, good enough for me.
go to MMAweekly.com they have the rumors section where it lists events and possible fights, it's setting up to be a good PPV
So do I, at least I hope he does. There were some good fights on WEC, gonna have to start watching it more. I'm trying to find any info for DEC 29 card for UFC. We are heading back for New Year's.
i watched him KTFO some dude also really good fighter they'll prob test him in WEC and tehn import him into UFC once he captures the title and defends it a couple of times.....yes i think he'll get teh WEC title
Has anyone watched Brian Stann from the WEC fight? They really need to add him to the UFC fight cards soon. Awesome fighter! And a true American fighter (Marine with silver star)! Watched him the other night on Versus/WEC.
