VVDL - Vivid Learning Systems
VVDL is one of my favorite stocks and I believe is a potential multi-bagger. With earnings of $0.017 last quarter and likely earnings of $0.02 next quarter I think this stock is massively underpriced at $0.22. I think the stock could easily be trading at $0.50-$1.00 this year. More research is available on the VVDL board which is located here:

Investment Thesis
1. Rapidly Growing Profits - Vivid Learning Systems has had rapidly growing profits and has had at least 5 successive quarters of year-over-year EPS improvement including fully taxed earnings of $0.017/share in fiscal Q1'09 ending December 31, 2008 In fiscal Q1'09 they had a 30% year-over-year revenue increase and a 29% sequential revenue increase.
2. Recession Resistant Business - Their training focuses on compliance and safety issues where employers have a legal need to provide training. It is a low cost way to provide training because it is web based which is attractive for companies looking to cut costs.
3. Hiring - They had 33 employees at the end of the fiscal year which ends on September 30th. They have plans to grow the staff by 7 people according to the 10-K. According to the company they have already added half of those positions. Here is a link to their open positions:
http://www.learnatvivid.com/jobs.html
4. Growing Custom Products and Services Division - The revenue for this segment has grown sequentially for the past 4 fiscal quarters (Q1'09 = $664,492, Q4'08 = $610,884, Q3'08 = $540,564, Q2'08 = $401,542, and Q1'08 = $397,487). Unearned revenue has grown dramatically in recent quarters (Q1'09 = $228,950, Q4'08 = $100,518, Q3'08 = $49,471). Unearned revenue is primarily associated with their Custom Products and Services Division. The large increase in unearned revenue indicates that they likely will have a significant increase in revenue in the Custom Products and Services Division in fiscal Q2'09.
5. Growing Training Subscription Division - The revenue for this division grew 18% year-over year in Fiscal Q1'09 and 72% sequentially. Additionally revenue for this segment grew 7.1% in the prior four quarters vs. the four quarters prior to that. Their subscriptions are annual in nature and are renewed yearly by roughly 80% of their customers.
6. Growing Library of Training Products and Partnerships - They have been rapidly adding to their library of training products. Furthermore they have been developing more partnerships. I believe that has been driving some of the recent growth and will drive growth going forward. See the press releases on the VVDL board for more details.
7. Estimated Q2 Earnings - I'm expecting fiscal Q2 earnings (ending in March) to be in the range of $0.012-$0.025 with a likely number of $0.020. I believe both Training Subscriptions Revenue and Custom Products and Services Revenue will grow sequentially.
8. High Gross Margins - Last quarter gross margins were 62.2%. Additional revenue drops rapidly to the bottom line.
9. Insider Purchases - Insiders have been purchasing shares heavily since September including purchases by the CEO and two directors. Executive Officers own in excess of 35% of the shares.
10. Healthy Balance Sheet - They have book value of $0.26/share with a big increase in cash in fiscal Q1'09.
11. Small Share Count - As of Feb 12, 2009 13,272,165 shares were outstanding. At Dec 31, 2008 581,638 options were outstanding with an average exercise price of $0.33.
12. Fortune 500 Customers - They have a very impressive client list including large companies such as Microsoft, Anheuser Busch, Ingersoll Rand, 3M, ConAgra Foods, Del Monte Foods, McDonald's, Perdue Farms, Lawrence Livermore National Labs, and many more.
REPR -- profitable, rapidly growing, recession-proof, tiny float OS & market cap....
(1) After turning the corner of profitability a few of quarters ago, sales and net income are starting to blow up, with Operational cashflow last quarter was +$311,000, bringing their cash position from $158k to $349k, bringing their balance sheet to positive book value for the first time.
http://tinyurl.com/8o859z
(2) REPR forecasts their quarterly performance to accelerate:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=34871342
(3) Several trader shows were attended and new distributors trained late last quarter:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=34875177
(4) Medicare reimbursement for the Freedom60 (their biggest & most exciting revenue-generating product) was increased 20 fold in June of 2007 and is the ONLY infusion pump accepted by Medicare for reimbursement for Subcutaneous Immune Globulin treatment (Vivaglobin):

http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=28776847
(5) Products are recession-proof with no direct competition with sales rapidly expanding due to a new treatment (Vivaglobin) where their infusion pump is the best, cheapest, safest, and most convenient form of delivery:

http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=28777209

(6) They are hiring like crazy:
http://www.rmsmedicalproducts.com/Careers.htm
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=24616830
(7) Additional products are being released this year as well as more products are in development.
Based on last Q, REPR is growing so fast with such large margins that I think they are 1 or 2 quarters away from +.02 EPS per quarter or more or an annualized +.08 EPS pace IMO. Possibly 2-3 quarters away from +.03 EPS per Q or an annualized +.12 EPS. A mere 15 PE with rapid recession-proof growth = $1.80/share.

I think he just stopped by to say hello Bridge....
and he's gone again!
Good overview ... Welcome back Serfdom!
I realize that, J... and am grateful.
Bless us all.
And we all are very grateful that you are Tex
A beautiful dream amidst a terrible reality serf-- if I were to put some thoughts to the significance, they would suggest a "love conquers all" theme
"Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses."
Ann Landers quotes (American Advice columnist, 1918-2002
Wishing you and all the Fat Cats continued love through friendship
dealing with bad lawyers and crooked mortgage companies...very complex situation.
BUT
I'm alive :->
The four plays just warming up. link back
OMG Tex....
How are you doing now?
slept through mine, too...lol
'cept when I woke up? I had tubes running everywhere, couldn't speak, and had no earthly clue where I was.
As it turned out, I was in Parkland Hospital's burn unit, which is apparently the center of the universe if you're burned badly...lucky me.
maybe you missed the fire incident?
I nearly died last summer...am losing my family home. Big deal. Lawyers, crooked mortgage companies, etc...
LOL, hi Jimmmmmenknee.
I was just taking a nap and when I woke up, the apartment complex I live in had burned! There's fire trucks everywhere, and it STINKS.
I was dreaming about this massive party where everything was fine and everyone loved everyone. Slept right through it!
Health-wise, or trading-wise?
U OK T?
got too cocky with my speedy recovery, and tried to go to work full time before I was really ready. Got run down and took a bad flu hit. But the scars have really diminished, miraculously I must say. Still haven't closed on a house, despite several offers...and I've looked at hundreds. Lol, in one 2-day period during the holidays? I looked at 102 properties...
PENNY FRIENDS....remember the old days? EOM
Hey TEX...
just saw the serf-meister and wanted to give him a welcome back greeting...i am always around! just not commenting.
how are you doing?
i stop in every now and again...
but don't comment...until i saw the SERF was back!

agreed, a day without serf is like a day without juice in the mawhnin'
NO??? Why not? You've had plenty of time to build that design....
I really wanted to see it! I'm disappointed.
Hey, I bet Matt hooked you up with a membership. I think he would like to see more "quality" boards come back to IHUB.
It's a mess. Some of the older guys who had great boards have passed away. Sad.
Are you going to get back into this now? I think you have to. Anyway, we miss you!
OK, it's definitely past my bedtime. G'nite Andy/Serfy!
Yup....It has been a long time.
I don't remember an earnings play formula so I don't know what to look for. Maybe if you describe it a bit we could find it.
Now that's what I call a very nice serf-stack (o-posts lol) Nice to read too!
Happy Easter Serfdom and all Fat Cats
slowly getting back to full strength. Put in an offer today on a house I'd really like to get.
Not back to full time, yet...bet getting there.
How about you?
Here I am, shorty.
How have you been?
Har, some things never change.....
Hi Liz, no, no house yet :(
Tex! Howz thangs??
Hello Syl, thanks!
I was trying to find my old earnings play formula...I'm sure it's posted here but all the gizmos are different.
Have I been gone that long?
Well, I guess it was the homemade clam chowder.
Good to visit again, and it appears someone has set me up with a membership?
Maybe it was MiMiC?
Oh wow, now that was a surprise indeed. :)
Hey Andy. What on earth brings you back here?
Andy... didn't even stop over and say hello in his old stomping grounds. I'll have to call MaJoR and see what's up with that. Too bad he's jailed until September and can't play either.
Hey Serf....I didn't notice you were here. I guess this board needed you to survive! I haven't OD'd yet and I make an OK living at this, so far, but it's been tough for the last six months. I hope you got your house built!
REUNION party!
infiniti-help?
Sorry to hear of your OD Andy
Are you recovered?
best of luck

800-ser-fdom?
serfdom good to hear from you buddy...hope you and the family are well.
Good to see you around again, serf
DAAT came out with a very good Q4 report yesterday. They made $0.04 in Q4 which brings 2008 earnings to $0.06. They last traded at $0.35 so they are trading for less than a PE of 6! BV is now $0.86/share. They repurchased 4% of the outstanding shares in the past few months. Due to lower commodity prices and shipping rates the margins will be better in 2009 which should lead to higher earnings.

David A. We look forward to both of these decreasing in 2009, thereby improving the Company's gross margins. In addition, the Company is dropping its low gross margin items such as meat grinders and game processing kits."

EGMI update -- +10 EPS for 2008, +.03 EPS for Q4, guided for at least +.14 EPS for 2009 while announcing a huge share buyback program. EGMI continues to make money hand over fist, debt-free, cash-rich, with insiders buying huge blocks of shares in the open market. Note -- acccording to the 3/16/09 C.C., there's a large number of potential deals in various stages of negotiations that aren't even included in the guidance. EGMI is my #1 favorite pick that seems like a screaming, fist-pounding super no-brainer to me.

This board is for FAT CATS and FAT CAT wannabes. We discuss all kinds of stocks from pinks to blues in a friendly manner, and share war stories along with the occasional tuna recipie. Most importantly, at FAT CATS we help counter the pump campaigns for highly toxic stocks that routinely occur on other message boards. Just ask us, and we can quickly check out any reporting stock for you. You may not like what we find, but you might save a lot of money, too.
When your post is related to a stock, please type the ticker in the message header. If you think someone's opinion is whacked, that's OK. But please refrain from scratching and hissing.
Please, no spamming or wild pumping/bashing. Refrain from typing in upper case please! Exclamation points: limit 3 in the headline; up to 12 may be used within the body of your post. You will be charged 1,000 shares of CMKX for each additional exclamation point. There is no limit on question marks, which are always encouraged :)
Note: My pet peeve is those who post in caps. Don't do it!
