Use both FA and TA to win in the market!

I believe that FA is good for identifying long term changes in the prospects for a stock; while TA (driven by fear & greed) is good for short-timing of entries and exits. Investors should use all the tools in their "swiss-arm knife" relative to the market to put the edge in their corner; therefore utilizing both FA and TA provides an investor with an advantage over others. It is wise for a retail investor/trader to be grounded in fundamentals and technicals if they want to achieve long term success.

Also is it possible to use FA and TA together or is there an extreme dualism involved? Did I create a contradiction when I used the word “versus” in the title of the board, and then on the board description I used “similarities”? Is it possible for both to work together or does this create logic error(s)?

I have a question: Do people who believe in technical analysis believe in an efficient market hypothesis (whether consciously or unconsciously) or an inefficient market hypothesis?

Pretentious:

1. Claiming or demanding a position of distinction or merit, especially when unjustified.
2. Making or marked by an extravagant outward show; ostentatious.

example: Bobrainey was pretentious enough to believe that he knew half as much as pugdog about the way the stock market works ;)
