Did you get out in time?
What a lesson on why not to invest in a BK stock. Oh well it's only money. With less money you get in less trouble.
Doubt it. Court approved restructuring at the end last month and now 30 days later, last day of the month, its over.
"On March 26, 2015, the Company obtained an amendment to its Debtor-in-Possession ("DIP") credit agreement, which extends the DIP credit facility's maturity date from March 31, 2015 to April 30, 2015."
Not a good day would be an understatement
Maybe there is something to learn here. I think I will be seeing you guys around. I have noticed some of your names on other ticker boards.
Trip zero 1 is coming, this stock is worth nada.
"Exide Technologies Common Stock
Pursuant to the Plan, the Exide existing common stock <<HAS>> been cancelled. Common stockholders will receive no distribution and will not retain any property under Exide's Plan."

where does it say shares cancelled tomorrow, all i see is exide is going private.
Short seller will buy shares during last few minutes.
All shares will be gone tomorrow. Total loss.
true that, such a shame, twice within 10 years
Sorry, guys. It brings me no joy to see many lose money on this outcome.
Good luck and better trading days ahead for everyone.

XIDEQ emerges from bankruptcy.

See ya next year when they run this bitoch in the ground again
Wash rinse repeat - MERICA
"Formerly traded under the ticker symbol OTCQB: XIDEQ, Exide has emerged from Chapter 11 as a privately held Company, substantially in its current form – operating across all Industrial Energy and Transportation business segments globally."
One of those Clint Eastwood "Do ya fell lucky?" moments. Because this thing is going to either rebound from dipping below a penny, or its going to start looking like a stinky pinky and it'll get chased down to no man's land.

"existing common stock has been cancelled"
Pursuant to the Plan, the Exide existing common stock has been cancelled. Common stockholders will receive no distribution and will not retain any property under Exide's Plan.
they all look fake trades. who in their right mind would pump money at this hour? the dip lending time expires today, surprised to see no sec filing with an extension. weird.
ARCA putting up fake bids while on the ask.
Maybe it stays in a trading range until cancel. That was why i was contemplating buying more, to flip.
It's just business in America, run the company into the ground and get everyone else to pay for it. Maybe even get a bonus as the lawyers are sucking the equity out of the company.
maybe this is done afterall. i am not going to imagine manipulation here, if there is, it doesn't affect me and who cares. i will assume this is done with. the company screwed shareholders twice, this time around commons should not have been canceled.
"not sure why volume is not like 30 million shares and price of $0.0001. not sure what people are waiting for."
BKs are almost always overpriced from my experience, just as you're see with XIDEQ. My curiosity is always on the lookout for the rare instances where Mister Market frequently "Gets It Wrong."
I doubt XIDEQ will ever trade at .0001, but that doesn't mean it will rise.
could you please update the chart with today's drop and post it again.
not sure why volume is not like 30 million shares and price of $0.0001. not sure what people are waiting for.
Umm . . . do you think a peppy post would help? Peppy, peppy . . . hmmm . . . this might another swirl before it finally disappears down the drain.
i think you are right..
Hi pammy
Did you see the news ?
it was meant for bar1080 that dip financing expires 30th. i would not buy more as you posted, that is not smart. looks like i may be the biggest looser here , they looted, what can i do, it is a shame.
Looks like the volume/share price is letting us know the end is very close. I'm not throwing any more money into this black hole! Anyone have a positive spin on this????
Contemplating buying more to see if we get at least one last pop to 6.
did you read the news?
I forgot to mention perhaps the most dramatic dropoff... the collapse of investment club membership since the Dot Com days. This is bad news for Exide.
This is a subject I almost never see discussed.
The public's become bored with "Playing Stocks." I have no idea why; but those things happen. Perhaps it's related to the recent broad decline in gambling... casinos, lotteries, horse racing (which is nearly dead). There's a fad element to "flipping" stocks (although making real profits NEVER goes out of style LOL!).
IMO the reason for all of these is people have moved on. Most people go with whatever is the fad of the day. Doesn't matter if it is stocks, golf, Nascar, motorcycles, or guns. Of course losing their money always plays a role.
Players must be aware of a new headwind. I think it's fascinating and important that ratings for stock market TV programs have plummeted in recent years... Cramer's Mad Money, for example. Google searches related to stocks have declined. Stock market books are found less often on Best Seller lists.

Point is, stocks with lottery-like characteristics are struggling to find buyers. From what I see, shares in deeply troubled firms like Exide will continue to fall unless they have a fundamental business turnaround. Traders shouldn't expect to see the thrilling and profitable upticks that were once common.
XIDEQ's Huge Problem: Pennyland is nearly dead.
Player types fled low quality, low priced stocks during The Great Recession, the 2nd market collapse since Dot-Com-mania. The survivors are now very happily clutching dividend paying blue chips, ETFs and, yes, Index funds. Yeah, a handful briefly moved into MJ, but the huge bulk have learned, and they're not going back to Nickel Rubbish... like Exide.
i like the plot. thanks for sharing. the price drop has allowed me to accumulate more and i am the dumb money who keeps buying. thanks for the drop. do have a quick question, how does one get this plot and post it? you said you are a lawyer, how do you get so much time as lawyers made $1000/hr in this exide bankruptcy. charity?
flying al, still waiting to hear what miracle can possibly happen given you wrote ..."don't see how every document says the commons get wiped out and anyone could think differently ???...preserve the $$ and keep a little in case a miracle occurs " Seems you are saying there is a chance...hmmmm. WTHeck!
hearing canceled again that was scheduled for 30th. so i guess, they will extend dip financing again as it was valid till april 30th. creditors control it, they can do whatever they want. this one is very strange, exteremly strange.
Nodummy is another great member, posting facts, links.
stockanalze, I appreciate the intelligent post vs. other crap. wait and see, eh? this is pinkyland...can't afford the loss don't come here.
flying...what's up w/ you...I'm asking on this board not claiming any miracles...give me a break...sheesh.
