I saw that also but you have to admit ECYT has been a cash cow. Glad I shorted it a few times yesterday I did well. But this AM was time to go long when it did not look like it would stay under $5.00. It did not and it actually ran back over $6.00 solid. So perfect.

I already covered at about $4.95 pre market today. I only made about 7 to 10K in shorting yesterday and today here but it was worth it. I shorted yesterday covered and re shorted. Then covered the last 5K shares this AM. GL

Great article and there was a lot of good news on E Trade today also. However ECYT just ran over 400% in only 2 trading days. IMO it should give back at least $1.00 and move back into the $4.00 range at some point in the days and weeks ahead. Most of this is in the second half of 2018 for phase III trials to begin and results in 2020. The good news is they had reduced their work force drastically because they had no money and were near $1.00 a share. Now they have someone lese footing the bills ahead. I played both sides made a lot of money shorting and covering today and shorted again just before the close. I will cover when I feel the irrational exuberance is done.

Back in 2012 there was a completely different SS and debt structure etc. Bottom line the gap up today was an insane gift but IMO a day to short it up there earlier. IMO it will run down to fill yesterdays gap below $4.00 in the days ahead. ECYT has been a cash cow the last 2 days. I went short earlier near $6.00. I don't think you understand over 5 years just how much it costs for trials etc. But recently ECYT was a buy obviously then we had this insane run on news the last 2 trading days. I am almost 100% positive we will at least go back into the $4.00 range ahead.

I just checked my history and I bought this stock for $5.50 back in 2012 and sold 90% of my position for $25 in 2014...so this stock can really run up to the 30's if history repeats..the guys selling now will be sorry they sold too soon..just saying.

I agree based on the past charts, insider options and sells etc. it should be time for some shorting here IMO. ECYT was awesome on the way up but IMO ran too high for the news. We will see. Congrats on everyone's long profits. I think I will wait it out short from this range now.

Doing more research, what I'm seeing is ECYT is attempting to fast forward revenue potential by acquiring worldwide rights to Lu-PSMA-617, again as the news release noted, is phase 3 ready. This saves a lot of time for the company, and therefore a lot of money. This is while also focusing on producing proof of concept of Flurescein CAR T-Cell (FITC CAR-T), with none other than Dr. Michael Jensen, MD, Scientific Co-Founder of Juno Therapeutics Inc. (Ticker: JUNO), leading the project.

Unless you've been living under a rock, Gilead acquired Kite Pharma not too long ago for $11.9 BILLION dollars. Juno and Kite were rivals in the T-Cell pipeline. Juno's stock price prompt nearly doubled with the buyout news, increasing it's market cap to over $5 billion dollars. Juno doesn't even have any pipeline in phase 3.

What's the point? ECYT is trying to recognize revenue from this phase 3-ready pipeline drug (which if you bother to look up the phase 2 results, are excellent) earlier than they would otherwise be expected. We're talking YEARS saved, which is YUUUUGGEE in the biotech world. They are also focusing on rewarding T-Cell concept, which has a massively positive therapeutic effect. And, it's not just Joe Schmoe from the off the street helping them. The person leading the project is none other than Dr. Michael Jensen, who is more than qualified.

From a $60 million market cap to $600 million and then to $1 billion+ market cap, is not too far in the distant future if we compare ECYT to JUNO. Phase 1 for FITC-Folate CAR-T is expected H1 of 2018. I see now why smart money rushed in to buy yesterday.

Oh man just got back and see ECYT was well over $4.00 afterhours. Too bad I had to get to all my appointments this afternoon and missed the bigger $$$. Unreal, could have made at least 10K more than I did! Congrats to those who do not have my crazy schedule! Also living in CA is hard because of the hours even when I do take days off to trade stocks I have to split up my sleep. Not fun to have to go back to sleep at 2 PM and get up and try to have time for family and the gym etc. Unbelievable how great ECYT traded today when so many Nasdaq stocks get great news open high and drop all day long. This one did the opposite all afternoon!

Shorts got slaughtered today. More slaughtering and panic covering will start tomorrow. Adam Feuerstein's followers shorted around $2.8x when he tweeted. It took the stock price to the $2.5x. I simply bought more. Look where that got shorts and got me. Real big money knows an undervalued gem when they see one.

The stock price did not jump this high because of momentum traders alone. The float is not super tiny. The stock jumped because there are A LOT of people smarter than I am who did the math and saw the potential.

I saw the stock at ~$2 and I saw the potential. People smarter than I am saw it at higher prices and felt it was worth buying, because if you do your DD, you will see the light.

For those of you who didn't bother to do your DD or didn't bother to do the math,

1. Do some research on the drug in phase 2 and look at the results.

2. Next, do the math. Assuming dilution and 46 million shares outstanding, and knowing that most oncology companies are over $300 million market cap MONTHS before phase 3 is even complete, AND knowing that this company is working on CAR-T, which is huge right now (think $12 billion buyout of KITE), AND remember the company has A LOT of cash. we have:

$350 million market cap / 46 million shares = $7.61.
If the market cap is higher due to its other drug pipeline, say assume $600 million market cap / 50 million shares = $12.

Now imagine that phase 2 was pretty good, and phase 3 is very likely positive, the you get the picture. I'll let you do the numbers. Comprende?
