Upsher is NOT a major drug company. Small potatoes in this game.

Another thing to think about are the drugs currently on the shortage list. One or two needle movers and Elite will be real close to busting $100 million maybe.

Wonder what Upsher's balance sheet looked like.
Don't know why Upsher was compelled to sell the business either.

That is the one ace Elite Pharmaceuticals holds, their excellent balance sheet. Just keeps getting better and better.

Independent valuation for Elite was better than $0.70 back in 2014. Whatever........... we shall see. PE ratio is stupid low right now. Should be minimum 14 IMO.

Here' the good news after a little more research since 210 M seemed pretty cheap for a major drug company.
The Evanstad family has privately held Upsher since 1919. On 4/28 17 they sold the Generic Pharmaceutical business for 1.05 Billion !! to Sawai Pharma who bought the balance this year.
Congratulations to the Chairman Ken Evenstad and his son and CEO Mark Evensted for banking a cool billion. I hope your family has used the wealth wisely.

A 1 billion market cap for elite sounds about right before the 3 needle movers kick in. That translates to around .70 a share for Elite holders.

Upsher-Smith has 550 employees (10 times Elite's staff) its revenue per employees as $763.000Its peak revenue was $420 Million in 2023 ( 9-10 times elite's expected 2023 revenues to be announced in June).
They manufacture more than 59 drugs in the US and apparently also manufacture for Europe and Asia since they were bought by Sawai Group Holdings.

Elite at $0.14 is way undervalued right now making the market cap a joke as it stands.

The "market" is way too corrupt to make accurate valuations of Companys, one of which being Elite Pharmaceuticals.

What does Elite have to do to get a fair assessment~? Current share price is bunk based on current revenues alone.

After being CFP for how many years, increasing revenues each quarter, drugs currently being manufactured on the shortage list, new ANDAs in the pipeline (needle movers), Elite now with their own BRANDED products, and partnerships with other Pharmaceutical Companies............. the share price is at $0.14~?

If it seems like the share price is being suppressed, the share price IS being suppressed. Many tickers are experiencing the same thing, but Elite has the better balance sheet for sure~! Go figure~!

Blame the DTCC CNS program for this crap. That's where the bulk of these shares come from in daily trades.
Oh, forget ORTEX and FINRA data. Total fiction. Not accurate by any stretch when shorted shares are labeled LONG. They use sham resets, flex options, buy rights, and married puts ALONG with labeling short shares as long.
It's all right there in the Overstock lawsuit.

Just about every stock out there is manipulated this way.
Didn't JP Morgan just get caught labeling Short shares as Long~? Signed an Acceptance Waiver and Consent, got the felony cancelled out as though it never happened and paid a small fine that can be used as a tax write off~?

Why would you add it to the buyout price when the contract would end around then and has no future cash flow benefit? Doesn’t sound like Nasrat’s is expecting the agreement to be extended. If things change, only then it would make sense to be included in forward looking DCF analyses for a buyout.

Pyros was in a trademark dispute over the Vigapoder name which was not resolved until January 24, 2024 when Upsher decided to not dispute the trademark name which was similar to their product Vigadrone. Coincidentally that was around the same time they were bought out by Bora.
They could not launch and use the name until that was decided.
Nasrat may have been more upset that he sold the product for a song worth less than the cost for the R&D and filing. Elite was probably desperate at the time as was Sungen when they had to sell their rights to Adderall to MIkah for a steal due to serious financial hardship.
That being said, Pyros may extend the manufacturing contract before it expires.
