Well Dade. What do you think? Certainly the right direction today. We have to get to the mental point with builders that it ridiculous not to use Ecob products. Look forward to the code approval process closing up business, in our favor of course!
It's is always an unpredictable ride on the USS ECOB
that's what made me buy some...so where do we go from here?
1M share print ore market above the offer at .093. Only institutions pay above market for blocks
Yes :"Southern Pine has long been the preferred species for pressure treatment because of its unique cellular structure that permits deep, uniform penetration of preservatives. Some 85% of all pressure-treated wood produced in the U.S. is Southern Pine."
More links below to bore you with - suggest Southern Pine is not going away -Does not stop ECOB getting a bigger piece of the action -Confirmation from them on current business status would be helpful !
Leave you guys to have your fun !

Southern Yellow Pine's engineering values are being questioned by the ICC. 85% of pressure treated lumber is southern yellow pine. Hence, 85% of the pressure treated market will be gone very soon. Using Mudbuut's math, it will be 3 years until they can re-enter the market, since it will take a year to test and 2 years to get an approval. Good thing ECO did their testing and already submitted it to the ICC. .50 by end of summer.
Many preservatives currently used by wood suppliers – ECOB’S challenge is to prove its product offers a better non-toxic cost effective solution! – easier said than done as big players involved in a huge industry – certainly need some help from the legislators. Perhaps chemical suppliers of these products below will consider using ECOB - If you can beat them –join them !
Good luck

Interesting stuff. Not sure of most of the language. Never knew wood was so complicated. Thanks for the post!
Some conflicting but interesting dialogue on other boards regarding lumber building codes !
Any ECOB accreditation from a reputable source can do no harm!
In N.A ; Does ALSC or ICC or some other body have more clout to influence/instruct change , indeed will it vary "state to state" on how they decide to enforce new legislation etc ?

So we pop to 8, play around in the 6s and land on 7. We need some volume. Who would have paid 8 without any support?
I'm thinking that coding authority is taking so long because ECOB is a game changer. a NO GO would have been easy and surely leaked. I'm (still) picking up good vibrations / today have a nice weekend all
Thanks Dade, I appreciated your frankness. I am holding on to my faith in Steve. He has to bust one soon. This new PR company and the new hot shot fire guy have got too be good signs, but I hear you at the same time.
Yeah only in Miami would you get a flesh eater. Crazies are the norm in SoFlo.
Did you see the news out of Miami about the guy getting zombie attacked and getting his whole face eaten off???
I hear we're like 12 weeks into code approval
& Everyone is anxious.
Imo if we go +another 6-8 weeks / Houston - We Have A Problem
Well dade do you think they can move quicker with code approval after today's report. Looks great but we need a contract! Incidentally the Dolphins will be featured on this years HBO Hard Knocks
Great volume on great news Look at the bid support through ABBA and UBS looks like institutional support.
Really?. What action might that be..
IOM ~ considering we traded flat for about the last 4 months on hopes and rumors + no proving news regarding solvency. coding. revenue$ = were going to continue to breakdown
I feel like no news now is bad news. sorry pals
put up or shutter up
toasting or toasted
Yep me too. I have been stringing my wife along for years now telling her this will pay off. I am patient, but Steve needs to make some forward progress soon. This is ridiculous.
Just out of curiousity, how deep are you into ECOB?
I agree, if there is an investment bank that is out there supporting ECOB stock plus the IR guy, plus the research guy, thats a positive
Well at least someone is paying attention. I am so ready for some positive news.
Don't I feel special...got a hand written pump mailer on this today from some boiler room in the Trump building
Weel they certainly chatted up the new guy. I hope he can do some selling while he is advising.
I have heard many things in the last few days but I want to see them deliver. Stock wont move till that happens...
You arent challenged at all
Apparently some think i am mentally challenged so little wonder i don’t see the bigger picture!
new media page
looks under construction but GREAT!!!
http://ecobmedia.net/
website has seen some nice additions
you should check it out - bud...
does your company have 5blade omni-saw? or how about that lumber carousel?? or how about a 130'X14' truss table??? or how about a battalions worth of skilled fabricators - outputting two shifts - 6 days a week???? or do you just have a pressure vessel filled with poison?????
IMO - We are splitting hairs about this. It's a dynamic senario -
My comment : "Based on N.A sales - Sorry probably nearer $22 million revenues required to break even for this last quarter based on the historical 10% gross sales profit margins –that would provide approx $2.2 million gross sales profit ! For 9 months ended March 2012 " $2,777,248 revenue -cost of sales $ 2,541,613 Gross profit $235,645 - actually less than 10% !!!!
Code approvals that would be great : those potential revenues obviously not booked yet so look forward to seeing that 30% margin on future sec filings !
Gerry, your assumptions of a 10% margin on $22M in revenue is way off. When we get to $20M+ in revenue it will be because we got the code approval. Once the code is in place ECO can charge a much higher price for the lumber. You will be looking at 25%+ margins imo. At that point your looking at a breakeven closer to $13M-$15M. At $20M we should be profitable.
Hi Dade - we can but hope on revenues -one big deal would make a huge difference!
No doubt management are doing their level best ,note that SC using his own funds & defferring salaries so good job if they get can get funding without too much dilution and/or at reasonable credit terms !
Thanks for keeping this board honest!
regards Gerry
From last 10Q;
-------------------------
"Common stock, $0.001 par value, 500,000,000 shares authorized 198,145,003 shares issued and outstanding at March 31, 2012 "
Plus MRL pending 50 million warrants !
"Common Stocks
During the three months ended March 31, 2012, the Company issued 6,829,731 shares of its common stock, under options, to compensate outside law firms, calculated for accounting at a stock closing price at the end of each trading date, being compensation for legal services, for a total exercise of $318,000 in cash to the Company and the Company recorded the remaining $366,676 as a legal expense for legal services.
Debt conversion
During the three months ended March 31, 2012, the Company issued 5,379,172 shares of its common stock to the third party lender with a conversion price of $0.055771 per share to settle the debt that has been outstanding in prior years. The Company recorded $300,000 loss on modification of debt under Other expense in the Condensed Consolidated Statements of Operations. "
20-22mill, not pie in the sky. probable
heard today were not facing dilution
Hi Dade , guess all sorts of factors dictate SP value especially when a company is still in development mode - so who knows we could get a bounce up on any positive international news ( day traders /MM can influence SP greatly )
Based on N.A sales - Sorry probably nearer $22 million revenues required to break even for this last quarter based on the historical 10% gross sales profit margins –that would provide approx $2.2 million gross sales profit !
Latest 10Q: ECOB recorded $79k gross sales profit (after cost of sales) - but more importantly they also spent an additional $ 2.2M on (OPEX/other income expense etc)
Anyway everyone has their own way of expressing views & opinions that’s ok –more importantly would be great to hear from the company soon – sec filing did not really give any info on the way ahead!
Regards Gerry
Sorry. Break even / revenues - IMO - around 20mill
5 mill a quarter
That $ is right around sales incentives for Steve & Mark...
I understand all your mixed feelings. ECOB has potential, and potential means that they have not done anything yet.
Well Dade : what sales numbers would need to be booked every single quarter just to break even ?? Net loss $5,527,369 for 9 months ended March 31 2012.( loss seems to be increasing & not showing any signs yet of decreasing !)
Why does it cost so much for the company to sell treated lumber -business model appears flawed & not sustainable !
Having said that still holding my shares -fixated with that $5 pps prediction
Regards Gerry
Inside my hopes of 1-2 million in revenue
Nice Work Steve
___
10Q: at first glance unfortunately little change for the better it seems!
Higher OPEX costs +increased interest payments way out of kilter with the minuscule gross sales profit margins made! They certainly can spend a lot of cash - let’s hope one day it does result in significant growth & improved company fundamentals –that might help our flagging stock price value!
Oh well - “maybe tomorrow Jack “
10Q is out Revenue is up!

Yeah, I agree about the mud slinging. I wish I knoew where the bottom of the price is. I am at 8.5 and 8 right now and am not sure if I sold get more at today's price.
I haven't picked up any chatter in the last week or so
but were expecting the 1Q report...
should be a fun 'mud' slinging week
GO ECOB
Maybe next week.
