nice post. Marked your board.
Beware of hidden stock promoters on message boards. Even thou paid stock promoters are required by the sec to disclose their compensation, they violate the law and fail to disclose on message boards. IHUB has recently given them the chance to disclose their status by signing up as IRP's and it revealed that many posters among us are paid promoters. But my guess is that even IHUBs move uncovered much less promoters than there really are.
Maybe with the recent scandals (like Madoff) and the new President, there is a chance for regulators to step in and enforce the rules. Losses to unsuspecting investors probably run in the billions if not trillions of dollars. Everyone that has put money into OTCBB or pinksheet stocks due to what they read on message boards or e-mails knows how quickly you can lose your money. IMO the only way for authorities to enforce violations would be by stiff penalties and holding responsible all involved parties. That includes not only the promoters but the companies/debtors that contribute monies and/or shares to the promotion, as well as the message boards and news agencies that disseminate the promotions.
Message boards these days are willingly or unwillingly aiding those law breaking promoters. But even if it is unwillingly, I content that ignorance is not an excuse under the law. Message boards should also be warned by their own lack of success, which in my opinion is a direct consequence of their failure to protect those that are critical of promotional posts and the associated companies.
Some have asked about NSS and Global links citing this article
http://www.euromoney.com/Article/1001047/Naked-shorting-The-curious-incident-of-the-shares-that-didnt-.html?single=true
2005 is a long time ago and global links now is GLCO (just had another 1 for 10000 reverse split)
but here is a nice summary of the deception and the final revelation if you start reading this string with even the senator falling for it:

Any thoughts on next week, will the market go up or down IMO up...
UYG has been great for me over the past days
Back into MF let's see...
Folks, cashflow tells the story. Even when a company reports profits, it means nothing until cashflow is positive!
nice
was in X this morning and in QID as we speak
Sold my FCSX and MF earlier today and played QID and QLD 5 times now I'm into SOLR.
yes, would be nice to see.
QQQQ needs a close over $30.00 to stay bullish....flirting with it again rght not
nice...I hate being wrong....
yes, since last week
Sure does..you in?
looking good so far today.
I think it forms a true double bottom before the real uptrend
should be a nice play coming though
yeah, it already touched 2 on Friday I think.
FCSX
coming back to 2.00
MF
going down yet from here to $1.50 area
Did really well on UYG when it climbed from 7500 point base those 3X's are dangerous I may stick more to UYG and SKF lol.
yeah those ETFs can be pure gambling a lot of times as the market just goes where it wants to on a moments notice.
Yeah I've been doing ok on those although the bull run on Friday after bad jobs report caught me on the wrong side with me holding FAZ lol. Flip a coin on bull or bear on Monday heh heh.
With big board stocks trading like pinks (some turning into pinks) I think a lot of traders go there rather than risking money on stinky pinkies. I have been trading ETF's like SKF, QLD and QID with good daily swings.
$100 is ok some put their live savings into this.
I think this one is the absolute worst scam/dilution factory in the history of OTC stocks...When they PR'd I dunno 6 months or more ago about their beer being carried in Gator's locations in florida as being new and I actually called and they told me the beer had been there and gone already because it wasn't selling I shoulda quit trading it. Luckily overall I probobly only lost 100$ on it due to flipping it well in the beginning but I do not miss trading OTC's one bit. When is the SEC going to start putting OTC crooks in jail????
Seaway valley capital corporation (SWYV) a saga I have closely monitored from its inception a little over a year ago. This "brick and mortar" operation of supposedly more than $35 million in assets is a classic example of stripping uninformed investors of every last penny. CEO, his family and other insiders hold about 95% of the company in form of preferred shares, while common shareholder already have been taken for approximately $25 million dollars while holding now about $250k worth of stock that despite a recent RS can't be sold (no bid). Debentures that convert to another trillion or more shares at the current sp are the cause.
Zevotek (ZVTK): After the complete failure of the "ionic lightbulb" and heavy losses incurred by the only employee Adam Engel, together with a recent RS and a switch to the "catchmop", all the promoters including the moderators flew the coop without even letting others know about their "change of mind". I volunteered myself as moderator to keep the flow of information about this money losing company and incompetent manager (CEO) alive.
Welcome to the board! As I want to start with MF and FCSX will the two bounce back? FCSX is actually profitable. Revenues are obviously declining on a grand scale but that is expected as long as the market shrinks. MF seems to try to expand. Are they beaten down enough? Or will they be out of the picture?

"weeee to da mooon", "news next week","this stock will go up 10,000%"
Are you sick and tired of reading the same thing? I created this forum to discuss stocks on a more intelligent level. Most of all, I'm looking for 'stock wisdom', i.e. traps and patterns that have been observed before in that or other stocks, including people and organizations that seem to operate/influence more than one stock. I have no problem with anyone recommending a terrible stock for a trade, but I like to see an honest blurb telling us what we are looking at (pump and dump or company with future). If you post "I just bought xxx shares of xyz" you better post when you sell as well (win or lose). Be honest with others and you will be honest with yourself.
