z1 well update....
for those still following it.
It appears they acidized the z1 yesterday and today are supposed to do the fracturing.

(like death and taxes dealing with bureaucracy.so we can pay taxes until death.LOL....
speaking of taxes...
benefits of owning a WORKING INTEREST..in an oil and gas well(s)
every year we have to pay taxes, the US tax code is written to spur domestic oil and gas exploration.
a dynamic strategy is to invest your tax dollars you would send to Uncle Sam and invest them instead in an oil and gas drilling program (small) to reap the FULL advantages of tax benefits.
if the well is drilled and hits nothing...you write off that investment 100% that year.....
HOWEVER.by investing that money in a drilling project instead of sending off to Uncle Sam....
if the well is successful.....
you write off the whole investment (75%-85%) in the first year and the rest over the next 7 years.
starting the 2nd year every 15 cents on every dollar is TAX FREE and many wells produce 10, 15, 20 even longer years!
sending the monthly check to you every...month....**
(confirm with your tax professional)
or...you can just send your money to Uncle Sam..
**this is US tax code

OT z1 well comment....
due to the many emails we are recieving asking for facts on the z1..mainly from readers of the lycos msev board (waste of time)...
first remember we were the longest longs on msev always had the scoops and DD.
then they started delays and excuses etc...so unlike the others on that board we spent the money to GO to TEXAS and find out.
REMEMBER it was i who posted 2 weeks before the last msev 10q that the consultants and bernie and the fgd crew should SHOULD bring in the well BEFORE they take more shares or options...2 WEEKS before they filed i brought it to all attention i could see it coming...but NO they put hands in cookie jar AGAIN.
so where are you now if you still hold msev?...well if you were the many emailing for our updates below is what they were..I will post the linage of updates..no one else has permission..but you will clearly see...FACTS as always...
today we will CALL the tx rrc and see what production you must have to be a commercial well....
FACT..prs from msev etc were saying they would release the flow rates ASAP..the last pr..no flow rates and going to plan b...
WHICH btw we suggested months ago when you read our updates...no we have nothing to do with msev and wish now we never did..like most we took a bath also...but..unlike most we went to see for ourselves and shared our findings...
btw conpare these against the prs from the companies..the dates and you will clearly see we posted facts, verified them and let you draw your own conclusions....
past email updates on the z1....

When you view these photo's the separator is the large silver tank in the view taken 08/17/2002 and 09/01/2002.
The 09/01/2002 Photos showed the installation of the larger motor.

08/27/2002 z1 well update:
As of Yesterday Evening:
The pump jack is still slowly pumping.
It is our opinion the fracturing of the Mississippi has bought in?
Apparently Mike Myers feels the debris, water, etc., can be removed.
ONLY time can tell.
Jason, when we asked last week why not just go for the Primary (the Bend Conglomerate) , he replied the Operator wants the oil in the Mississippi.
There are no substantial flows to release at this time.
IN OUR OPINION one way or the other there will be delay.....
Either to hopefully correct the Mississippi and whatever is happening down there....or plan b.

8/17/2002 Z-1 well update
Today the pump jack was running.
There is a Haliburton Mc2 Flow Analyzer. (About a $3k unit)
The pump jack is a rebuilt Lufkin 160 grasshopper (reported earlier)
The Lufkin was running a 48-inch stroke on a cycle of approximately
7 strokes per minute.
Photos will be available later.
8/16/2002 Z-1 well update Pepto Bismal?
Thursday much to our surprise (S&T Well Service) with a pulling unit on site. There were hands with the unit and swabbing the well.
Remember fracturing the Mississippi in these parts is a rare and relatively new process (and maybe never want too). Time will tell,.
In hindsight it seems to us pull up the well and fracture the primary zone the Conglomerate Bend and get the Mississippi on the next well.....But, we are not Mike Myers.
The well was left open and naked Thursday night.
Today all is back in place, the pump jack reassembled and the well shut in.
We have not contacted Jason however he stands by the Monday/ Tuesday time schedule for flows. This by a third party that talked with him today.

Very nice contract with your Operator Diamond "A", great legal!
I can't wait to see the Drill cam especially since I know of one person that was very skeptical that Diamond "A" would actually go ahead with one.
I've had it with MSEV and their BS with the Z1. Looks like things have not changed much since the Coalinga days. I don't need the extra stress, I am going to be out of work soon and that's stressfull enough!

OT: of note for the z1...
as a great reference for early dd on the green ranch and z1 cfig0 on the lycos msev board posted 15146....
this had the permit (toaster yes you have the correct one) and i applaud your homework as it is so painfully absent on the lycos board anymore only a haven for bashers ..
it is interesting to note that the permit is april 11 and they pr'd that the start of the drilling (the z1) was to begin "on or near" march 15...
from then on my eyebrow raised..yes they can "cover" in the verbage "on or near' but imo it is of questionable form.
NOW ronald i read your fgd post up north and i feel for ya..we took a bath also..big time..but unlike bashers that lie we post DD as always.....for those friends of ours starved for updates.
in any event this is what is and has happened......
they had a good well (the z1).
they decided to frac a secondary zone the mississippi....
the frac did not go well as they said ...at least fell way short of expectations.....they brought 800 bags and only were able to pump in 237? i forget but we counted posted way eailier..
then the well "screened off" (plugged up).....
BUT overnight the well started to get better and better...
NOW as we have said delay delay delay..while they brought in the pump jack 2 differnt motors etc....
many PRs have ensued and time lines passed...
so what?
well if they had flows they would release them...
they are pumping that mississippi..only time will answer one of two things.....
can they pump out and clear the mississippi?
or when they frac'd did it screw it up?
can they pull up the hole and go after the primary zone? the conglomerate bend??
in any event is there a chance? i would have to say maybe because early on they had plenty of gas..we never could confirm the oil (the excessive oil to shut it in ..remember that pr.lol)...
BUT were we willing to keep waiting?....no.
not with our venture coming to fruition..Diamond A Energy....
where we are in control and have local experience of over 30 years in our president of field operations and local drilling team....and NO dilution or roll backs or the worries of the stock market .....
good luck
This is interesting because I understood that it would appear
on the RR Commission only if it was a producing well.
Jason told me a few days ago they were selling oil (didn't say
howmuch) so your report makes sense.
Thanks
Ron

yes this is a public forum.
however, one MUST email us to receive copyrighted update material. the updates are NOT in the public domain....just as our upcoming PPM, one must contact us to receive ....legal.
now again we have extended the upmost professionalism to our updates..they are photo's and collaborated comment when appropriate.
we are not here to continue with the z1 in any capacity but to bring legal verifiable updates to our email requests and discuss here in this DAEC forum.... questions.
as you have found out our updates are verifiable......
they are from a point of access an investor could view if they make the trip to texas.....
if we did not post the updates you yourself would have not the material to ask jason for answers.....
remember why we started this in the first place....
when did the well complete? are you satisfied?
do you not appreciate at least the photo's to be informed and ask jason?...

"careful" ? Who knows, who cares!
A little bit of hot air on all sides. + over reaction.
I don't take anything at face value , regardless of source.
I'm not a pumper or basher.
Your opinion carries some weight, because you're there &
in the O&G business.
Ron
Ditto. This is public domain. Those were linked over before
Photo asked you not to do the same. SO are you both saying that
Jason isn't allowed to view them even if he pulled up this
site, which BTW he reads..give me a break. You don't post something in a public forum if you don't want it read.
Anyway thanks for putting the effort in. I'm not convinced
Jason et al are to blame for this happless set of events. Their
choice of majority partners (Myers) & on previous projects
was likely less than inspired. But the O&G sector is real
HIGH risk. What really PO's me is Myers not settling for
the Gas in the Primary zone, capitalizing on that , & then
if possible going after the oil. I think someone(I would myself)if I could get Myers Ph#..contact him. Seems to me you
did with less than respectful results! if you have Myers PH#
please give it to me & I'll give ita shot.
Ron
yvislandgirl and ronald...
thank you yvislandgirl your post to ronald is an answer we would have given.
and in light that jason has told some we better be careful, this has opined our legal of whom should be what.
now ronald you can take jason and his explanations at face value if you wish.
first to address the "porported" haliburton meter readings..the window is TOTAL (not for a week as ronald stated jason said).
jason says it was not hooked up ..running? during that period?
so be it.
do you wonder why seriously why they have NOT released flow rates after months and months of completeing a shallow well???
think about it....
now unlike bashers i will tell you and we have told you...they are using the pump jack (gas fired) to pump the Mississippi and only time will tell what will happen...
ask yourself again..why no flows yet?
answer they are still trying to get some........
and remember before they frac'd they had gas and ...oil?
we can't speak to the oil other than what the tx rrc engineer told us long ago...but mike myers must beleive there is oil or why all the expense of a pump jack etc?
so......you wait.
for as ronald reported jason said... now its an oil "glut"
we are careful is jason?
photonwav
Ronald,
No disrespect intended but why would you link over the photos from here to Mr.J? Did Diamond A give you permission to do that? I thought that those pics were copyrighted? BTW, I prefer to get everything in writing, that way there is no question as to what is being asked and what was said in reply!
Islandgirl
I linked over a photo of the Halibuton Meter a few days go
to jason, so he's familiar with the 249 reading already. I
asked him about the reading prporting to be a weeks worth, his
response was it wasn't running continually for that period.
I forgot to ask him about the seperator showing in the 8/17 photo, but I also linked over that a # of days ago. So
you can indeed reference those two things when questioning him.
He seems more comfortable ansering questions over the phone
than in writing so you might want to consider that.
Ron
Photon,
Thanks for the response. I will not reference your photos in my email but I need help in coming up with a way to ask about the Meter reading? Suggestions???
It appears Mr. J reads the RB board! Looks as if he took some offence to Dragon mentioning him in his posts! IMO Mr.J is a little oversensative these days, he seemed rather uptight during our last conversation too.
I've gotten to the point where I don't want to send emails to the company because every time I do the response is a call from Mr.J. The last time I didn't even include my home number but he called me there anyway! LOL Thank goodness for call display.
He really did say he would answer specific questions in writing so I will give it one more shot! BTW, all of my emails to MSEV are CC'd to other parties interested in the Z1 situation. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge!
TIA

well, you might ask him the questions in a way as not to have to use our photo's as the reference..LOL
for instance....
1). did you install a new seperator as per your last pr?
is this in additon to the one you already had in place?
2) He did answer ronald about the meter and said it was not on.....(huh what ???)
3) is your gas line hooked to sales? or anythng at this time?
ask him the permit number and location of the H2 well (the well they used as reference in early prs)..
and most important how is the testing progressing?
good luck.
photonwav
Hi all!
I just wanted to find out if it would be okay for me to send MSEV/Jason the following questions:
1.) Is the separator mentioned in the last PR a new one or is it the same one that was in place in a photo of the Z1 I saw dated August 17, 2002?
2.) What is the significance of the number 248.4 MCF on a picture dated 09/13/02 of a Halliburton Flow Meter on the Z1 installed on 08/17/02, the same date the pumpjack was installed.
3.) Why is the gas line from the Flow Meter not connected to anything, just flowing into the air? (This from another pic dated 09/13/02).
4.) Several people have quoted you (Jason) as telling them to wait for August of 2002 for something big. Was that something your(Jason) resignation from FGD?
5.) What are the specific details/results of the Frac of the Mississippian?
6.) Why are we still awaiting GAS flow results if getting readings from the oil flows are the problem per your last PR?
Feel free to add to the list and may I post this list on RB for further additions?
Thanks Guys & Gals
Ronald..
yes and good luck.
for what is happening NOW.
They are pumping the Mississippi with the pump jack to see if they can bring on the oil.
Only time will tell so no one can tell anyone any different...
Photo:
Thanks for your reply. I do read your postings (all of them)
& I appreciate the time & effort you do to do them. I completely forgot about that seperator in the 8/17 photo & will
ask him about that, next time I talk to him which will be soon.
Myers is the one that really knows. I'm a cynic about everything in life, so I listen & read everything & try my
best to sort them out. I think it boils down to this, Myers
contols this project, & for better or worse is completely
driven to score on the Mississsipian. Personally I wish he
would have stayed on plan "A" in the Primary Zone, because
I think it was pay dirt. by going after the oil, & the delays
etc, it's personally cost me a HUGE amount of $. I don't think
the minority stake holders have zip to say in this play. The
NR's we get are a product of Myers IMO. All said, & FU Jason
& Conrad close, there isn't a real lot of substantive discrepancy, between your reports & theirs.
Myers is the key.
Ron
Not mixed up at all. Your postings just needlessly clog up this
forum, but if it makes you feel good ..post away!
Ron
Ronald Re# 286
You might be a bit mixed up so I'll try to explain. Yes, normally I would agree with you re the energy prices but Ronald this board is not for stockholders as Diamond,a private company,
is for subscribers or owners in a an oil/gas well. Now if you, for example, were an owner the two things you would be interested in would be how many barrels of crude is it producing and what is the price of crude. The number of barrels produced per day X the price X 30 would give an approximate monthly income,(operating costs and transportation must be subtracted), to an investor/subscriber. As potential owners of a part of an oil/gas well we feel that the price movement is very important to the readers.
I hope this will help to explain why we post what we do. One thing you can rely upon and that is the truth (Veritas) is always posted here. Our postings are based on fact and can be verified.
Ronald..
no offense taken, and like wise.
my response was to clear up misconceptions and answer you.
Ronald you have to read our updates and this board, we are extending professional courtesy to msev jason etc.
we ARE the contact, we ARE only going to report what we can verify or collaborate.
glad you have confidence in jason.
.i read your post about an "oil glut"..that jason told you ...?
read the questions i posted for islandgirl to ask jason...
we used to call jason always too..part of any good dd....
well ask him, i am curious what was this event in AUGUST? that never happened.
did they install a NEW seperator as in last pr yet?
our photo's show they have had one on since 8/17.
the meter reading explains itself..that is gas flows.
these are photo's, we are not the operator, this is why we are careful when it comes to updates to be fair also.....
and born out...delays.
you are not going to hear us say what may happen..no one knows.
but you have answered yourself as to our credibility..jason is answering our photo's.
the prs confirm the pump jack the haliburton flow meter, the swabbing, the new motor.....
and now jason has explained to you the flow meter was not running..we can only post the pic's and you can read what the gauges and the window explanation says.
we're right on always.....
as to what will happen????????
they are pumping the mississippi and no report of flows yet to report.....
but jason has the reasons.
simply...they may clear it..they may not be able...only time will tell..BUT that IS what is happening, they are trying....
hope it works out.

Re: 287, think you're mxing me up too much with the other poster. Wasn't accusing you of anything . Please re-read my
last enquiry..real straight forward..only asking for clarification & the meter photo which wasn't linked on your
original post, which you did do so later. Fully aware you or
your firm has no connection with the parties involved. Do appreciate your updates & opinions. I'm a little bit bemused
of your overreaction to me over a simple question or two.
I do have to say though, I talked to Jason over that reading
on the meter which purports to be a 7 day reading, he states it
wasn't flowing for all that period, maybe you might be able
to comment what times it was flowing.
The one thing I truly would like to find out, is who REALLY
knows what's happening & how do I contact that person.
Your prompt replies are always appreciated.

First we are Diamond A Energy NOT anyone affiliated to the z1.
anything we do concerning the z1 wekk is a favor for our friends still invested in it. the reason we do this is because we were investors in some of the Companies and TIRED of the relentless delays, excuses, whatever you wish to call them.
ALONG the way we discovered a much more dynamic way to invest in oil and gas....imo...
Why own stock in oil and gas comapnies? When you can own a working interest!
... and enjoy the US tax benefits which are outstanding.....a successful well can produce for many, many years with 15% of profits starting in the second year as tax free! a dry hole is totally a write off of the investment..against ordinary income in the year the well is drilled.
A producing well not only the tax free benefit but also the total investment is written off also!...DYNAMIC....imo...
THIS IS US TAX CODE...confirm with your professional.
now to answer you......
yes, and also as to yvislandgirl also we ARE careful our legal peruses everything we put out.(islandgirl, not you, but what jason said to you)
How much more SPECIFIC can we get Ronald?
They pr a new seperator...we give photo's.. they have had one on.
We show the actual meter readings in our photo's...
READ the posts here if you want and make your OWN decisions it is a TOTAL package...
Ron we cannot come out and say what MAY happen....
they MAY be able to clean out the Mississippi and get the oil if any......MAY
we only report there will.....be a delay..there are no flows to report when we updated.
They say the weather was impeding access to the well awhile back. we posted photo's...no comment make your OWN conclusions....
and this arrives as to why we have OUR forum HERE where all are welcome without the input from bashers....who laughably use our info from here..(first to "scoop") and use it on other boards....this is why recently i have posted what is going on in the TRADING..only facts DRAW your own conclusions...
When we first posted photo's of the z1 as a favor, we took heat.....only because we used our site (with no links to our site) which is STILL under construction....and many on the other "BOARDS" got vindictive......BS..here we don't need to put up with that BS. all questions are welcome without fear of the basher crap.
we have reported ONLY facts....
the z1 was a good well....
even gave original pressures....
what exactlly happened with the frac.... even the number of bags and what company did it..specific enough?..lol
THEN they frac'd it and now it is ....where it is.
IF we were to say oh it ain't got nothin....and then it cleaned out..what would everyone think?
there is a chance.....and maybe they can even go after the primary zone (the conglomerate bend} if the Mississippi doesn't work out.......
BUT we do know what's going on top of the ground....
and yvislandgirl you could ask JASON where exactly is this H2 well they used in the early prs....? (we can't find it).
Ask Jason what this great event in AUGUST was he told many on the phone to watch for? August come and went...only his resignation from fgd..what was he PROMISING us?
Why did the last pr state they had a new separator when they already had/have one?......remember our 8/17 photo's?
did they install another???
so are people starting to get the specific's??the drift??
We hope all investors good luck.
they all have the option of not viewing this site.
in the meantime...we are CAREFUL......
from our presentaion of Diamond A on the web...to facts..
all documented, and collaborated with many of the players; from the gas Companies, drillers, and suppliers...when it comes to the z1.
Personally we have extended a level of professionalism that needs to be "carefully" reciprocated.

Isn't there another forum you can post on, a real time
waster pulling this up all the time. I know you're well
meaning but it's general news. What we need is company
specific posting.

Hi guys & gals.....
Thanks for the updates as usual best info around! Had a pleasent chat with Jason many days ago. He is just as pissed as we (loyal shareholders) are about the delays! Yuck, yuck!
He told me about the new engine before it was PR'd. When I asked him what new engine he said the one in the last PR and of course I didn't get a chance to clarify - moving right along we were! Yuck, yuck! Anyhow he did say that he would respond to questions in writting if they were specific, so tomorrow I'll start my list! If anyone has anything to contribute by all means please let me know! BTW, we discussed the Z1 updates from Diamond "A". One thing he said really stuck in my mind - "those guys better be careful" - that's a quote. I don't have a clue what he meant by that but he did mention that he spoke with you CFIG quite often. I did give him a hard time about the crappy pic they had of the Z1 on the MSEV site - I don't think he found any humour in that at all! He also clarified that it was the company who decided what constitutes offical flow numbers. Like everyone else I am very confused about the separator. Oh well, I know for a fact that I am not the only one concerned about what has been going on with the Z1. I get the feeling that perhaps Jason may want to consider being careful!

OT: for our friends following the z1....
remember Diamond A Energy has NOTHING to do with the z1.
we were investors in some of the Companies involved and our DD for our own projects brought us in close proximity to the Green Ranch Property etc. We provide our research, DD and updates for our friends still invloved.
ok news for the z1 followers:
there are 4 public companies involved in the z1 (msev, hao, fgd, ygf).....
condor gold fields (ygf)is moving to vancouver..not same offices as msev and hao.
condor (ygf) is changing name to Cloudbreak Resources.
condor (ygf) is apparently also doing a proxy for a 16/1 consolidation as is fgd....this i hear as i do not own and did not recieve proxy and sedar.com only alludes BUT here is info...
