Almost daily you will notice bltra (one of our principles) posts pertinent information on the macro developments concerning the theater of ENERGY.
Our investors find this of most importance, as soon in the NEW YEAR we will spud the Diamond A-1 Well and THEN the actual price of the commodity will be of great significance to our investors, hence bltra's daily reports.
I want to call attention to bltra being our research and development and always has the inside scoop on:
latest Intel on osama bin laden....spotted twice in Saudi Arabia
That the US Britain and Turkey are already well deployed in Iraq.
Much of his inside information comes from research done on the Israeli intelligence services and the DEBKA files......
below is a more widely known release.........
If you would like to know what the US press leaves out or will know later, please email us at:

EYE ON THE GULF
50,000 troops get order to mobilize
U.S. soldiers expected to deploy to war zone after Christmas

In the first of what would become a massive mobilization of troops for war with Iraq, up to 50,000 soldiers, sailors and airmen will head to the Persian Gulf shortly after Christmas.
"Preliminary notification is being made to forces," said one unnamed administration official, the New York Post reported today.
Military officials said late yesterday that no final decision on whether to invade Iraq had been made. Nevertheless, large-scale mobilization orders are set to begin in January, which appear to support earlier reports that U.S. commanders prefer to battle Iraq during cooler months.
Sources told the Post that preparations are intensifying throughout the U.S. military. Some units have even had holiday leave canceled.
"The volume of the low-level ambient noise that we've seen over the past few months is going up," said Tim Brown, military analyst for the defense think tank GlobalSecurity.org.
Administration officials said yesterday that President Bush had decided not to hold Iraq in "material breach" of United Nations regulations forbidding Baghdad from acquiring weapons of mass destruction - a classification that would give Bush impetus to launch new military strikes against Iraq.
However, the administration is expected to announce that there are multiple problems with Iraq's 12,000-page weapons declaration, which Baghdad turned over to U.N. weapons inspectors Dec. 8.
Britain also is preparing for war, leasing a large merchant ship earlier this week to transport heavy armor to the Gulf by mid-January.
British Defense Minister Geoff Hoon said extra naval resources also would be sent to the region and that procurement of desert-fighting equipment had been accelerated. He also said some troops had been placed on high alert for short-notice deployments.
"What we are doing is preparing in the event of military action being necessary," Hoon said.
"We would not necessarily want to signal the timing or the date of any such military action in advance," he added.
Britain plans to commit as many as 20,000 British troops to the operation. The U.S. has about 60,000 troops in the region.
Earlier report said the U.S. may amass up to 300,000 troops before striking Iraq. Baghdad's ground forces are said to number around 375,000 men, with 70,000 of those Republican Guard troops.
WorldNetDaily reported Wednesday that a decision to strike Iraq has been postponed until at least the end of this month to give United Nations weapons inspectors a chance to make their report.
Despite Iraq's vehement denials that is has no weapons of mass destruction, the Pentagon is already well aware of numerous arms violations by Baghdad. The U.S. has intercepted communications from Iraqi officials discussing the hiding of weapons of mass destruction and their components, sources told WorldNetDaily.
Those weapons are being hidden in steel mills, parts factories and even in weapons and ammunition plants, sources said.
While the earliest date for a strike is the end of December, there is also a deadline for a decision about 90 days later in March, say sources close to the planning.
The window is necessary because of the massive military buildup in the area, sources said.

ART LINKLETTER invests in Oil and Gas Well Working Interests!
CNN LARRY KING LIVE
Interview with Art Linkletter
Aired July 26, 2002 - 21:00 ET
THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.
THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.
LARRY KING, HOST: Tonight -- Art Linkletter. He just turned 90. Can you believe it? He says it's better to be over the hill than under the hill. This straight-talking conservative tells us how he coped with the tragic deaths of two children, stayed married to the same woman for more than 60 years and went from being a hobo by choice to one of America's best-loved broadcasters ever. Art Linkletter for the hour next on LARRY KING LIVE.
Happy birthday.
ART LINKLETTER, JUST TURNED 90 YEARS OLD: Thank you.
KING: What's it like to be 90?
LINKLETTER: I prefer to call it the 40th anniversary of my 50th birthday.
KING: What is it like?
LINKLETTER: It feels...
KING: No one thinks they are going to be 90.
LINKLETTER: No, no, they don't feel -- I feel so much younger inside. Now I know from experience I can't do the things I used to do. For instance, now when I ski, I ski from 10:00 to 2:00, not from 9:00 to 5:00. But as far as sex is concerned, I can still talk about it for hours.
KING: When you were like 40, 50, did you think you'd be 90?
LINKLETTER: No. In the first place, I knew that the average child born when I was born in 1912 lived to be 47. That was the average age I could expect to be.
KING: So you've doubled your expectancy?
LINKLETTER: I have done more than doubled that, and I'm ready to start on my triple. Because after all, being over the hill is better than being under it.
KING: I know. But you didn't expect it?
LINKLETTER: No, no, I didn't think about it. When you are young, you don't think about dying. As a matter of fact, when you are young and really young, in your 20s, you don't think about anything bad happening to you, which is why so many kids get into drugs, get into trouble, and you can tell them over and over what's going to happen if their health and mental capacity is hurt. They don't really believe it. Nobody believes that.
KING: What do you get someone? What kind of presents do you get at 90, when you have got everything? I mean, you don't need a dollar. What do you get?
LINKLETTER: I got the darndest present this morning. At 6:00 o'clock in the morning, I was awakened by a telephone call from Texas, my oil drilling partner, Jeff Rand (ph), told me we hit a major gas field in southern Texas. Now, there is no better present than that, because a gas field is one that lasts 10, 15, 20 years. So for the next 15 or 20 years, I can go anywhere, do anything I want.
KING: Art, you don't need it, do you? So what is the kick of it?
LINKLETTER: The kick of it...
KING: Whether that came in or didn't come in don't change your life one iota.
LINKLETTER: No, but why am I in many businesses?
KING: Why?
LINKLETTER: I'm in real estate -- because it's growing, it's learning, it's taking...
KING: It's not the money.
LINKLETTER: Now, the oil and gas business is the only place I gamble. I can go to Vegas, not put a quarter in a machine or a dollar on anything, and I don't gamble, poker, anyplace. But I am fascinated by the combination in the oil business and gas business that you have science, you have experience, you have engineering, you have the market, but is it there? You can test it and show that it should be there. There's a reservoir there.
KING: And two geologists could disagree.
LINKLETTER: But at 18,000 feet, which is five miles deep, you don't know whether that place is gone, the oil has migrated.
KING: Is that called wild catting? What is that called?
LINKLETTER: Wild catting. Yes.
KING: That's real rolling dice, though.
LINKLETTER: And a real wild catter in Texas is the kind of a guy that would come to you and say, look, Art, I got a sure thing. We know it's there. Mortgage the farm. And he does the whole thing and you get a dry hole. And he says, Art, we got a dry hole. But we learned from that hole that if you just drilled 150 yards upstream, or uphill, you're going to get one. And they live and die by that. And it's fun, exciting.
KING: Back to 90. You don't feel 90?
LINKLETTER: No.
KING: OK.
LINKLETTER: No.
KING: Here's what Bill Cosby's office sent us from Mystic Sea concerning you. "Art claims he and his wife never fight. But a few times, things have gotten a bit heated. That's when Art says, if you don't stop what you're doing right now, I'm going to kill you. Since Art's wife is still alive and he's not in jail and the marriage is intact after more than 6 1/2 decades, his laying down the law is clearly the secret for his successful husband/wife relationship."
LINKLETTER: Well, that's kind of...........
then the interview proceeded.....

We will be revising our TAX BENEFITS page on the web site the Oil depletion allowance was 15%,now it is 24%*.
*confirm with your tax professional.
When an Individual OWNS a Working Interest in a SMALL Oil and Gas Drilling Program (Diamond A Energy) they qualify for numerous tax benefits.
One of the most compelling is the Oil DEPLETION allowance:
..."And yet another benefit to oil and gas investments is the depletion allowance. A percentage of gross income is tax free. Currently, the depletion percentage is 24% tax free income"....
The "King Pin" Of Tax Shelters
Oil & Gas
by Dana Hooper
Good news and bad news: First, let's get the bad new out of the way: tax season is approaching, again. That's right--IRS wants you; well, more specifically, they want your money. Now take a sip of something that tastes really good and wash away the bitter twang. Here's the good news: there are incredible tax benefits for persons who directly invest in oil and gas. With a bit of tax planning these benefits can be maximized and enhanced.
Grab a Schedule C Income Tax Form. Investments in oil and gas, particularly, the acquisition of working interest, are considered an active investment and can be deducted from your income.
There are two primary deductions; Intangible Drilling Costs and Tangible Drilling Costs consisting of drilling, reworking, labor and other services without tangible value . IDC's are expended in the year that they occur. Tangible Costs: equipment, cement, pipes, rods and etc. Tangible assets depreciate over time. This depreciation can be accelerated in year one using IRS Code 179 Form 4562. And yet another benefit to oil and gas investments is the depletion allowance. A percentage of gross income is tax free. Currently, the depletion percentage is 24% tax free income.
Generally, the cost of drilling and completing a new well consists of both tangible and intangible investments. Intangible costs provide a first year tax write-off. Tangible and completion expenses may be written off over 7 to 10 years, unless one chooses to accelerate.
In most cases, it is possible for oil and gas investors to deduct 100% of their total investment against their income in one year. For instance, if your total income for 2002 is $100,000 and you invest $30,000 in direct oil and gas, you are allowed to write-off the entire $30,000 and pay income tax on a $70,000 annual income. See IRS Code 179 and Form 4562. This would be maximizing your year one tangible deduction instead of depreciating it over 7 to 10 years. Of course, the higher your tax bracket, the greater the impact is on your specific situation.
For investors who live in states that have a state tax this usually has added benefits. Most states follow the federal guidelines allowing for Section 179 type deductions. There are benefits on federal income taxes, social security taxes and state income taxes for oil and gas investors.
Operating and production costs such as: pumping costs, tax preparation, transportation, bank fees, maintenance costs, severance, filing fees and all other expenses associated with the production of income from an oil and gas well is 100% deductible in the year cost occurred.
This article is provided solely for information purposes. Federal tax laws are complicated and change frequently. Therefore, each investor is encouraged to consult with a tax specialist for their specific benefits.

Our Current Tax Situation:
Let's put tax cuts in terms everyone can understand. Suppose that every day, ten men go out for dinner. The bill for all ten
comes to $100.
If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this. The first four men -- the poorest -- would pay nothing; the fifth would pay $1; the sixth would pay $3; the seventh $7; the eighth $12; the ninth $18. The tenth man -- the richest -- would pay $59.
That's what they decided to do.
The ten men ate dinner in the restaurant every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement -- until one day, the owner threw them a curve.
"Since you are all such good customers," he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily meal by $20."
So now dinner for the ten only cost $80.
The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes. So the first four men were unaffected. They would still eat for free. But what about the other six -- the paying customers? How could they divvy up the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his "fair share?" The six men realized
that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from
everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being "paid" to eat their meal.
So the restaurant owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay.
And so the fifth man paid nothing, the sixth pitched in $2, the seventh paid $5, the eighth paid $9, the ninth paid $12, leaving the tenth man with a bill of $52 instead of his earlier $59.
Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to eat for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings.
"I only got a dollar out of the $20," declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth. "But he got $7!"
"Yeah, that's right," exclaimed the fifth man. "I only saved a dollar, too. It's unfair that he got seven times more than me!"
"That's true!" shouted the seventh man. "Why should he get $7 back when I got only $2? The wealthy get all the breaks!"
"Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison. "We didn't get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!"
The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up. The next night he didn't show up for dinner, so the nine sat down and ate without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They were $52 short!
And that, boys and girls, journalists and college instructors, is how the tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up at the table anymore.
There are lots of good restaurants in Europe and the Caribbean.

TAX BENEFITS:
Attention:
Tax Advantages of Domestic Oil and Gas Investments
It is essential for the investor to calculate their tax position before considering an oil or gas investment. Probably the most significant cost feature in oil and gas investing is the effect of federal income tax legislation. It is imperative that an investor understands the tax advantages in order to fully appreciate the benefits of investing in oil and gas. Briefly stated, the investor uses a portion of their tax dollars for investing instead of sending that money to the government for yearly income tax payment. This tax break is given as an incentive to encourage new drilling ventures within the United States.
The following is an example: If an Individual invests in an oil and/or gas drilling venture, he/she is allowed to write off all of the intangible drilling costs the first year. This usually amounts to 50% to 85% of the total investment. The remaining percentage that is not written off the first year must be taken over a five to seven year period. Eventually the entire investment will and can be written off,
Furthermore; tax savings are achieved with or without any loss of capital. In addition to tax money saved up front, the depletion allowance for oil and gas states that $0.15 on every gross dollar returned to the investor is nontaxable money starting the second year through the entire life of the wells. Thus, Investing in Oil and Gas not only creates a tax shelter, but also generates a tax-sheltered income.
Tax Benefits:
Congressional Incentives;
In 1986 Congress provided tax incentives to stimulate domestic production financed by private investment. These tax benefits enhance the economics of an oil and gas investment already feasible due to the depression of the oil and gas industry. With the passage of the Tax Reform Act of 1986, oil and gas are one of the most tax-advantaged investments. This act specifically exempts oil and gas working interests from being classified as "Passive Income" (see Section 469(c)(3) of the Tax Code).
TAX BENEFITS:
Federal Income Tax the basic tax considerations involved in an oil and gas-drilling program are as follows:
· Dry Hole: 100% of all dollars invested are written off as a loss against your ordinary income in the first year.
· Producing Well: Generally your investment INCLUDES what is known as Intangible Drilling Costs (IDC's) and (IDC's) may be written off your ordinary income in the first year. IDC's include labor-intensive costs such as the drilling contractor and professional services and are reported to the investor at the end of the year.
· Generally your investment also includes Tangible Drilling Costs (TDC's) which are depreciated over a seven-year period using the Accelerated Cost Recovery System (ACRS). TDC's include pipe, storage tanks, and wellhead equipment, capitalized and depreciated.
· Percentage Depletion Allowance: Currently 15%, making fifteen cents of every gross income dollar nontaxable, therefore producing tax-sheltered income. Most drilling operations of this nature qualify for these tax benefits,
Tax Benefits Against Ordinary Income.
Essentially, a person in a high tax bracket can save as much as $13,000 to $15,000 cash off their annual tax payment on an investment of $50,000, or roughly $6,500 to $9,000 on an investment of $25,000, etc. The tax savings can be substantial and unlike many investments, an oil and gas joint venture does not require active participation in order to receive tax benefits.
· Furthermore, these tax benefits are not available to the large oil companies.
WARNING:
As world conditions and other world events change, so do the Oil & Gas Tax and Securities laws change. These changes have a profound impact on the Oil & Gas Industry. We strongly advise you to consult with your Legal, Tax and Investment Counsel, since this Memorandum is not intended to provide legal, investment or tax advice.

Successful Frac of the Primary Zone Within Z1 Well
Habanero Resources Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the
operator has informed the Company that the frac on the Z1 has been
successfully completed. The well was fraced with the injection of 1,580
bbls of treated water with 11,700 lbs of 20/40 sand. The average frac
pressure was 2,210 psig, with an average rate of 19 bbls/min. The well was
then bled down and swabbed to the frac tank. At this point 400 bbls of the
1,580 bbls injected into the well have been swabbed back with gas being
present within the water. It is expected to take approximately 4-7 days,
barring any unforeseen delays, to finish removing the rest of the frac water
that was injected into the well, to enable the operator to gauge the rate of
the gas flow from this zone of the well. At this time approximately
$11,000.00 worth of oil has been sold from the well.
If you would like to be added to the Habanero email updates list, please
