Not sure why ... But when was some time ago .. months now , I think it was about the time the filings were due and for sure they were going through tough times with Pandemic.
--
In any case they are good in the SOS standings , so it would not take much to get it going again .
--
As long as the St. Pete City approves this going forward and you can see in the article they have some "left wing" group called "preserve the burg" that wants to be pleased. Tough business with Major $$ projects.
--
However they are still going strong with the other Florida Projects on moving forward. Lets hope Spring Break does not affect Florida Covid Cases to much .
--
TIME will tell.
I musta been sleeping-- why did Mark lose PINKCURRENT?
Lets see how the meeting with the City goes next week, time for Rick Baker to earn his money with them for sure.
--
They had to really jump through hoops with the HOTEL industry taking a Huge Hit in Pandemic time and to switch gears and go with the St. Pete Vantage Lofts format which is about fully leased out was the way to go .
--
Smart move on Devmar's part with the project " THE METRO" had the land , just needed to amend permits and get the shovel in the ground now.
--
I am watching ... then hopefully the update and get Pink Current again.
--
onward and forward.
Nice dig-- Im thinging this may jump soon. I doubled my position
Amazing how just few years ago they RM into this shell, and all this hype was brewing and now they can’t even file to keep current. Has to be some of the most shadiest garbage I’ve seen in years. CEO needs to get his act together. Market environment is on the edge here and these defunct companies won’t be around much longer if they continue down this path....
Here you go... NEWS out on the new project THE METRO .. they are about there with the City on the Transition from the Original Project.

Time for MR. Rick Baker of Devmar (former Mayor of St. Pete and Mr. Florida to make it happen at the City Meeting ).
--
As the Article says.. Ready to start in May shovel in the ground and get all the final approvals out of the way in April of 2021.
Yea he’s gotta file to stay in the gsme
I think Mark will surprise shareholders-- we need to hook up solid with a major hotel or something big. It took me a long time to trust the guy-- My cost is so low-- it would be hard for him to "f" me.
yes I wish they would just file ugh
Exactly! -- This is sooo thin-- all we need is a file, a rumor, a leak--- this thing will take!!
I'm seeing zero volume here today, can't be right
So will this finally make a move in April?
Shovel in the Ground coming APRIL

"The announcement of DevMar’s upcoming apartment development comes a week after St. Pete Rising exclusively reported on a proposed 256-unit, 15-story apartment building to be constructed adjacent to the METRO at 1000 1st Avenue North.

The METRO will go before City Council’s Community Redevelopment Agency in March to ensure the project’s proposed use and design is consistent with the Intown West Redevelopment Plan.
A groundbreaking is expected in April with a completion in Summer 2022".
Once they put the shovel in the ground on the new project THE METRO, it will make news and prove its real.
--
They own the property
--
Smart move, unfortunate about Marriott but in the days of Corona Virus the Hotel industry may never come back to where it was for some years.
--
SMART.. go the direction of what the fully leased now ( a few left) but over 90% leased which is great of the St. Pete Vantage Format now for THE METRO project. Truly the way of the future .
--
Next Ft. Myers Vantage all good there , approved.

CEO doesn't care about shareholders here and reason I exit too.
Hey all my old friend ... Wow u guy still around here ? After I sold massive lost here ...I make 600k since and price still not moving...wow
Time to keep watch here .

The Metro is added now to their PROJECTS and Developments
http://devmardevelopment.com/#_folio
--
Click on the St. Pete Vantage Lofts , they have updated that quite a bit and that was the one that was completed. There is only 12 of the 211 units even available anymore.
--
Maybe this latest move will benefit Devmar overall for sure, as that Format like St. Pete Vantage Lofts sure filled up quickly even with Corona around.
---
Hmmmm
I might start adding to my position-- The SS is just too good! Better than JFIL, my fav stock of all time.
Agreed on all points .
--
Needs a PR . The last one was just the change of format that came out , on going with the Project THE METRO
https://stpeterising.com/home/2021/1/14/edge-district-hotel-is-dead-but-a-new-proposal-has-emerged
=========
JM, also noted it does need to go back to Pink Current . Perhaps with the project changing in St. Pete and Mark D and team knew it, they wanted to get the new information lined up. Hope so
--
They still have new projects lined up on their website , so lets get this coronavirus under control. I know I got my first shot with my wife this past Sunday and the second is scheduled. We are in CA , so a HOTSPOT, but noticed the numbers for the first time in a very long time coming down.
Will keep on watch. GLTA on the other trades going on .
Not current so not sure any PRs will come until filings are updated

DEVM $$$
There hasn't been a PR in almost 2 years now. Any bit of news, aside from all the information Timing puts out here, or a small PR would probably get this moving like we've all been waiting for...
With the New Project "THE METRO" coming on board , once that gets the shovel in the Ground PR ... is what we need now.
--
Mark D and Team can get it done. Personally I like the change in format so THE METRO PROJECT, will mirror the same at the Vantage Lofts in St. Pete that is Leased out now .
The area does not need more Hotels being built , they need facilities to come on line like the METRO.
--
All have said .. DEVM moves like a rocked with this Share Structure.
No doubt. This is super thiiiiiiin
if this ever gets any volume it will take off fast
Just a matter of time until the Shovel is in the Ground on the NEW METRO project , it will be exciting indeed to move forward here.
--
devmardevelopment.com/portfolio-items/the-metro/?portfolioCats=4
lets gooo....
Let's get sum volume, here!!
Thanks for keeping all informed! GLTA
Devmar Website on Projects updated. THE METRO, click on it . Also Note the Vantage in Ft Myers still on track.
--
Easy to find by Florida Hotel Occupancy is down over 45% or more in some locations . The HOTEL industry is being crippled by Covid all over the US and one can easily see that in every area.
--
Mark D and Devmar Team know the Multi-Family is still successful and was the key for the success of the Vantage St. Pete which is about leased out now and looks great.
Smart Move by them

Good morning everyone.
Let's see if we get some continuation today.
DEVM
Enough patient to wait for a few months.
Agreed... they (DEVMAR) knew that Coronavirus is and has changed the Hotel industry without fail. The advantage they have in St. Pete is the City knows them because of the Vantage Lofts and the success there.
--
So the decision to move on the property they already own and repeat it with the new project called THE METRO , will pay off in dividends since that is how the population is looking to be .. in Metro, no cars , leasing the units which they speak about in the article posted.

I sent Mark and Team a note last week to say congrats on moving forward and thinking out of the box. Not much info, but he did return it and he knows the folks are out there.

And what is going on , they have another project ready to go there... breaking ground in APRIL.. it will be similar to the St Pete Vantage.

Back in October 2018, St. Pete Rising broke the news about an 11-story Marriott Tribute hotel that was to be built in the EDGE District at the corner of 11th Street and 1st Avenue North. The 135-key hotel was proposed by Michigan-based DevMar Development, whose first residential project in St. Pete, Vantage, began move-in’s in May 2020.
DevMar Development closed on the hotel site in January 2020 for $3 million. But unfortunately, due to COVID-19, hotel financing has all but dried up. As a result, DevMar has scrapped plans for the boutique hotel.
So, if a hotel is out of the question, what will be built on the 0.44-acre lot in one of downtown St. Pete’s hottest neighborhoods? --
In trying to answer this question, Mark DeMaria, CEO of DevMar Development, noticed an interesting trend during the lease-up of Vantage – there has been a huge demand for the studio units.
And if you think about it, that should make sense. If someone wants to live in or close to downtown St. Pete, but is more price-conscious, they have two options – rent a larger apartment on the outskirts of downtown or a smaller one in the center of the action. Most people would be willing to sacrifice space for an outstanding location.
THE NEW PLAN
the METRO, a 100-unit, 7-story apartment building. Amenities include a first-floor pool with an outdoor kitchen and a landscaped patio that fronts Baum Avenue
THE METRO, A 100-UNIT, 7-STORY APARTMENT BUILDING. AMENITIES INCLUDE A FIRST-FLOOR POOL WITH AN OUTDOOR KITCHEN AND A LANDSCAPED PATIO THAT FRONTS BAUM AVENUE
DeMaria also noticed the growing number of residents in St. Pete who are going car-free. Today, downtown St. Pete is one of the most walkable urban areas in Florida. If you live and work downtown, you’d have little reason to own a car.
And so, DevMar Development is excited to announce the METRO, a 100-unit, 7-story apartment building that will be constructed on the former hotel site in the EDGE District.
DevMar still retains the Marriott Tribute franchise for St. Pete and are in continued discussions with Marriott to brand the apartments at METRO with the Marriott Living Brand.

This project is revolutionary for St. Pete for a number of reasons. First, all 100 units will be fully furnished studios. Although the units at the METRO will be leased at market rate, the rent is expected to be less than other downtown communities due to the smaller unit size.
Additionally, the building will have no on-site parking, and will instead utilize an off-site valet lot for residents. However, there will be long-term covered storage for 102 bikes.
“We are extremely excited to deliver this project, as we see the units we are providing as the most demanded in the downtown/EDGE District,” says DeMaria. “It will be the only offering of its kind in all of St. Pete.”

Besides Ft Myers.. Devmar is still very active in the other Florida projects like Mid Town and Winterhaven, along with St. Pete which should be next as it is all approved and ready to go with permits.

Tick tock..Jan 15 draws closer. Expecting massive crazy demand for shares soon
I am loving the recent vol
Jan 15 is only two weeks away and it is worth adding more shares here.Hope DEVN makes a good progress in 2021 and regards loyal shareholders handsomely.
Been holding along with everyone else who is long on this one. Glad to finally see some movement! Good luck to all!
I'm here and holding.
Has plenty of potential with the SS being what it is too.
