The Agreements call for CNC to provide connectivity, network expansion, installation, billing, collection and on-going support of CHVC's government contracts. The initial phase of the agreement is for the GuangXi Autonomous Region where CHVC has contracts for the installation of its SKY O/A integrated Office Automation and VoIP solution to approximately 55,000 seats, or over half of its current contracts which consist of 103,000 seats. In addition, CNC is private labeling SKY O/A to sell to the Private Sector in China under the ICT Business brand. CNC plans to market ICT following the installation of CHVC's government contracts in the GuangXi Region.

Through the licenses and relationships of CHVC's China subsidiaries, the Company has unique and legal access to various origination and termination telecommunication services. The Company will provide a vehicle for the marketing and sale of these hard-to-find China services. CHVC's China Subsidiary through agreements with the State owned telecom companies in China, provide this CVC International with preferential rates on various telecommunication services. The origination and termination business is based on high volumes and low margins. Effectively, the Company acts as a middleman between a phone company and a country by placing its own hardware in a telecommunications hub. It takes a fee for calls originating (made from) or terminating (final connection) through its hub based hardware.
Phonehouse and Dial-Tone Communications
Phonehouse and Dial-Tone Communications provides discount calling cards that enable users to call China, India, Mexico, Iran, Pakistan, Brazil, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Lebanon or anywhere in the world at significant savings. Although the communications business is changing everyday, there will always be a place for selling discount calling cards to a very large unbankable population.
CHVC plans to leverage the special termination rates that it has negotiated through its China subsidiaries to develop profitable private-labeled calling cards that will be marketed to the Asian and Indian populations within the United States. The Company's calling cards are currently sold through a network of over 90 private distributors. Through this network, the Company estimates that their services are sold through over 10,000 retail outlets of which, more than 5,000 retail outlets are located in Southern California.

StarCom's products provide customers with reduced calling rates for both national and international destinations. The Company's prepaid products include cellular phones, sim cards, cellular calling cards and refill pins. While there will always be a demand for the traditional prepaid calling cards, currently major growth is on prepaid cellular products. This growth is fueled by the desire of customers to better manage their mobile costs, and to have certain features and flexibility that the contract (or post-paid) services do not offer.

Just got an email on these guys this morning. They've had the research report done by murphy analytics. Even though there hasn't been a lot going on with the stock lately I watched these guys last year when they ran a big promotion and the stock reacted pretty well. If they've gotten audited financials done and they have a deal inked with China's second largest telecom it would seem they couldn't be lumped in with all the other voip penny stock companies out there.
The only thing I can tell you is that China is to be included in the list of the stock promotions. Do you think that's good? IMHO that's a really ugly way to make your company and product available to everyone.
Just take a look at the info I have found:
http://www.pinkinvesting.com/2008-08-27/talking-about-china-voice-holding-corporation-chvcpk/
they spend so much money to make investors think that the company is good. their business is complicated and that's it.
No, I haven't. What is it about? Can you post it in here?
What did they send out this time?
Or are you talking about email? TIA
Did anyone else get the press release in the mail?
Those connections
Well they won't pay off any time soon even if they are real which I have some doubts IMO. They are aleady up to close to 160 million shares with the a/s limit of 200. They are losing money. We'll see how much very soon. My guess is they'll have to R/S this thing at some point. By early next year would be my guess, maybe sooner. There are millions of "free trading" shares out there that could really keep a damper on future share price appreciation as well. If you couple the paid for "reports" and company projections with the sordid past of some of the management, I don't have high hopes for these guys. At current prices, I certainly wouldn't sell but not sure any "big" pay day will ever happen. Maybe it hits a buck again one day. I was here at 2.50 screaming for folks to sell while they had the chance. Well its been a long 10 months for them. I'll post any thoughts after their earnings are filed.
I picked up a little over 30k shares a short while back because I think the China connection has big promise in short order. I of course hope I am right and I will give it up to a year. Feel free to share any insights.
GLTA
Nah,
I never go anywhere lol. Guess they should report their quarterly earnings on the pinksheets site soon and we can see once again how much they lost and how much of those earnings are simply from the calling card business. Even the paid for report this week only projected .8% margins from that segment which represents, in my guestimate, their biggest business segment. Why even bother with that?
It has been a month .... anybody around ????
Where did potty mouth go?
.45 is less than the .50's last time I checked.
Good luck to you as well. eom
You have excellent research skills, from what I have seen you and a few other posters you hang around with share that in common. You surely have a lot of knowledge of the sector. People would be wise to listen to what you have to say.
happy trails...
magic jack
I saw the infomercial on that a couple weeks ago. Some are happy with that service and some don't like it at all. They hope to steer the caller towards an advertisement and earn revenue from that. I doubt its possible from their prices. I think the business model of voip companies are poor. Yes some are scams, but there's just little chance of ever making a profit unless you own your own network, which voic did. The problem there was management was too involved with the lenders and looking out for their own best interest, certainly not the interests of the shareholders. Between that and technology changing so fast, it's a suckers game in this sector IMO. It's hard to find such a company that doesn't have a billion shares outstanding or has/will undergo multiple reverse splits in order to get the shares to pay the bills. CHVC for example will bump up against the authorized share limit of 200 million at some point, maybe by the end of the year. Then you know what is likely to happen. Big gamble on these types of stocks imo. GLTY
it must have been. what a loser stock and loser manglement.
do all voip companies attract this kind of people to run the show? seems like 8 out of 10 voip stocks are scams, and the other two out of ten are going to zero because they have unsustainable business models... acquisition costs and monthly costs higher than per subscriber revenues?
magic jack claims they are the only profitable voip company. i read that in some online news thing. how the hell can they make money with their crazy deal?
It was voii.ob
But ticker has changed to voic.pk now and they have closed the doors as of last February.
i don;t remember what it was. yak? ntop? triple 8? voip is such a dead topic. why people put money into that??
this is off topic sorry so i won't post any more
but i followed vartec from afar...
wait, here's an old iHub post. VG! LOL

If you've followed that one,
Then you remember me well lol. Probably not that far back though and by the time yahoo got a message board there, it was obvious to most (except the pumpers) that the writing was on the wall. That's the main reason I follow this one as some of the cast has rolled over here with former voic business segments and management that never turned a profit on anything there. GLTY
Thanks for reading.
Do I recognize your alias from Yahoo years ago?
What stock, I can't remember, but VOIP something or other around Thanksgiving 2003 time frame.
Cap
Sorry man. I can't help you with that one. Don't know anything about him other than he signed off on the last few unaudited quarterlies for the pinksheets.com website.
I saw this name somewhere else today. It's in the iBox here.

As they have been for years now.
No problem for me. Nice call for you though. You better get to buying if you want this thing to close above .50. LMAO
you really are a NOB.
I dont see anything on here thats got substance from you.
ALL, are watching you too
guiness
or should I say genius. Didn't take long to have to bring this marked post up since it just hit .50 at low of day. Maybe you can get some of your buddies to buy a few and prop it up but capitalizing "never" and "ever" didn't make it any less likely to occur it would seem.
Your post from yesterday:
"we shall see if my words ring true. Watch. It will NEVER EVER hit .50c again from today."
Posts from december 07, investor village message board. Exact same alias that I've always used. You see guiness I have a record here. I didn't just show up posting insider information. The stock would have to 4 bag from here to get back to that level. Once again this is not a prediction of the near term share price, only an attempt to put a fundamental value on a company with negative margins and very little cash.
"They'll float it as long as they can and people will wish they had gotten out. Probably be the slow bleed where you feel like a complete fool to wake up one day and the price is .75 and you say why the heck didn't I sell at 2.50 or any step along the way. JMHO"
"Maybe I was wrong. I posted that 9 trading days ago. It hasn't been such a slow bleed afterall. Below a buck already. Phonehouse = "litterbox" a rumor. Seems like more of a fact if you ask the folks at voip, inc."
Classy as usual
Stock down already, not that it means a pump isn't coming of course. I know more about what this company should be valued at than the lenders here, the market makers, or company management even does. That's why I was right when it was 2.50 and I said it would go to .50 or when it was 1.20 and I said it was the best short on the market a few months back. I could care less if anyone out there knows my IP address or anything else about me. I post under 1 alias and have for years. My record is out there in the open and I challenge anyone to find out incorrect information I've provided on a stock I said didn't add up. The problem is you can't so you do the only thing you can and name call and result to vulgarities. I won't predict if the price will go up or down short term, only that it will have a major correction if given enough time. The company is not doing enough business, nor profitable business to warrant a high sales multiple IMO. If you guys can pump it, good luck to you. I'm just telling the folks that held through the prolonged crash, or have just bought, that it isn't worth any more now than it was then especially if you consider 30-50% dilution. All one has to do is read PR's from 12 months ago to see if predictions have come true. The difference between myself and most pumpers is I'm not taking advantage of anyone, not admittedly providing illegal inside information. This company's main source of revenue is a phone card business that has negative margins and was such a drag that even Burbank's former employer VOIC let them go. If you have any more inside information please post it here of ALL and I do mean ALL to read. You remind me of someone who used to call me names on the voic message boards when the stock was a slit adjusted 50 bucks. Of course its .002 now. GLTY
Sorry
Not happening but I imagine you know that already. Management here has helped wreck other companies as well (voic)(wqni) and left alot of bagholders well above 2 bucks and that was 40 million shares ago. Based on the last quarterly reported, the company is still bleeding money and has no cash on hand. Projections now have been pushed forward into the future and stock sales will continue to be made in order for management to continue getting paid. I don't care what happens to the share price short term. It's spiked before. Moving to the amex would have no long term impact other than easier to increase short positions. You ever noticed how many times this thing has been on the naked short list? Frequently. Folks should take any profits or lessened losses if they are bagholders as they come IMO. When a company needs additional financing for cash, share price seldom holds. Just look at the history of this stock for proof of that. I will also not allow someone to create an alias here and pump inside information on public boards without reporting it either. It's illegal. GLTY
Hey...whats your problem... if you do not like this stock why not move on and go somewhere else and be a loser.
Don't have time to read 12 month old info right now
But the deal on the bottom of page 23 is the reason the share price will always pull back after any pumps IMO. I hope the pumping is successful and this thing can go to the amex so I can short the hell out of it as will many others. That's one of the dozen predictions I will make here with the other 11 coming painfully true already and that's based on DD and not revealing illegal insider information that is reported to the SEC.
Been called worse.
Thanks again for the inside info. You're a class act all the way lol. GLTY
Now worries
I've marked the post, and forwarded it to the propers folks as well. GLTY.
we shall see if my words ring true. Watch. It will NEVER EVER hit .50c again from today.
No need to ever change an alias, I have nothing to fear, only knowledge of whats happening .
A million here and a million there. LMAO
You need to go back and read the pinksheets.com quarterly reports. Well over 10 million freely tradeable shares out there and who knows how many by now. Probably due for another pump and dump here. I wouldn't be suprised. Burn rate is BAD and has been growing according to those reports and the company readily admits that selling shares is the main driver to staying in business. I'm not going to predict the stock price will go down from here, just that it will return to these levels after any pumps so folks should take any profits that come along IMO. Word to the wise though. I wouldn't create a new alias to come to a public board and pump inside information. There are folks watching this one and I can promise you that. GLTY
No major placements were made on this stock, and quite frankly I do not believe private placements were happening via Winterstone financials. Besides Ron Allen has nearer 15% of the shares...so the guy that posted 66% is in dreamland We are prob talking about a million shares here and there that were sold at a slight price reduction. Burn rate is NOT high and they are in a VERY VERY good position indeed.
As I say, amex listing coming up now the audit is completed. Complexities I believe in auditing basically a chinese opertaion trading out of the US, and 3 years of audits to add to that complexity
Hey, everyone makes their own decisions on trading, I am just giving some the heads up.
Price indication? No idea, but UP I would guess.
WATCH N WEEP.
Wow lol
I thought it was going to be the Nasdaq during all the paid pumps. You heard that wasn't happening here first. Must have been a heck of an audit to be so far behind schedule (9+ months). Did you hear if the company did a major private placement at these low price levels as some have suggested they were getting "cold calls" about?
The audit is done, news out this week on its completion
BUY BUY BUY
Full amex listing to be applied for.
Watch it pop
YOU heard it here first.
Anyone read the post on yahoo?
A 20 million dollar placement? No wonder they set up the pump and dump website if the knew the stock price was going to be held down. Funny stuff if true.
daytraders are having a blast with this,
wester
You call 18 times normal volume to the downside a "dump" lol? (tic) I'm not sure there's a word to describe it. Wonder how much more "cash" the dumper needs. On the naked short list too. Who'd a thunk it lol? When you have to pay your bills in stock, you can't hold these things "long".
