Shares of Canoo (NASDAQ: GOEV) soared in pre-market trading on Friday after the electric vehicle manufacturer's Executive Chairman and CEO, Tony Aquila bought around 9 million shares at a price of $1.11 per share. As the above graphic indicates, corporate insiders have bought shares worth $4.9 million in the past three months. In addition, Canoo also announced a public offering of shares worth $21.3 million with a purchase price of not less than $1 per share.

I've been a proponent of Canoo, but after seeing the Proxy filing on 11/21, I'm kind of skeptical of this "YA II PN, LTD" (Yorktown). I'm sensing a lot of dilution coming, and I'm sensing a share price of less than $1. Some of these proposal, 2,3 & 4 to be exact are iffy to me and I'll be voting "no". I hope the people behind the scenes aren't crooks and fraudsters...there's a lot of those nowadays.
Raise the authorized share count? Give Yorktown more shares? Let Yorktown buy shares for fifty cents?
Do your own DD, but I would wait until the price is out of *manipulation territory* before buying and/or adding. JMO

I've seen this go from $4.5 to $1.02 in 4 months for no reason. Recently seen this go from $1.16 to $1.66 back down to $1.02 in the last week, and you have to ask yourself what's really going on. In wake of the crypto crisis, if regulators are lacking there, how much more do you think they care are small companies...and people behind the scenes know this...they know they can get away with unfair, immoral practices.

And when there are a lot of retail investors involved, institutional investors are like leaches. Rubbing their hands together and licking their lips. LOL
Retail investors do you own DD, but always remember that big money is always out to take small money. (big bank takes little bank)
Doubt there was ever a moment when institutions said, "let's help out these retail investors", nope, it's been "let's figure out a way to drop the price, scare retailers, make them sell, do a fake rebound, repeat cycle."
Nevermind the stock price right now, which is way undervalued (IMHO), but Canoo is not the ordinary EV company. These guys appear to be revolutionary and very innovative. The "steer-by-wire" tech, the proprietary "stateboard", and now I see the video presentation of them having the ability to swamp out vehicle body types for other body types.

This would really bode well if/when they introduce a car. Imagine having the ability to switch your car into a van or truck or vice versa as your needs grow. They haven't mentioned a price for such a switch, but hopefully it would cost significantly less than outright buying a new car. I think $5K to $10K for a switch would be reasonable, otherwise might as well consider buying, or trading in for new.

I don't know anything for sure but during the Q3 conference call the CEO implied he's open to partnerships.
I'm thinking that since the former CEO of Canoo now works for Apple's car design team, that Apple might be a possible candidate. Apple, who's known for outsourcing its product production could possibly use Canoo's "stateboard" as the base of an Apple EV. The designers at Apple could work closely with Canoo, then Canoo could dedicate an assembly line at the OK plant for Apple cars. All just a thought.
But no matter what happens, IMO, Canoo vans will control the EV van market.
$1 billion in sales in Q2, and another $1 billion in sales in Q3 (of the $2 billion, $750 million is non-binding), if they can average $1 billion in sales per quarter, that's great.
I'm also hoping for a military order...would love to see the Canoo van in camouflage.

JUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 2, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Canoo (NASDAQ: GOEV), a leading high-tech advanced mobility company has announced an EV Battery Module Manufacturing Facility at MidAmerica Industrial Park in Pryor, OK. The new facility will expand Canoo's manufacturing and employment footprint in the region. Once ramped, the facility will be capable of approximately 320 MWhs of battery module manufacturing capacity.
"We are accelerating our hiring plans in Pryor with the establishment of our EV Battery Module Manufacturing Facility, which will produce our proprietary battery modules, energy management system and thermal control technology for our MPP platform" said Tony Aquila, Chairman and CEO at Canoo. "This is the first building block for Canoo's production ramp strategy, with more news coming very soon. The location has been strategically selected due to its proximity to our battery cell partner Panasonic and our future MegaMicro factory. In addition, we will be the first EV company to produce our battery modules with Hydro-Power from the Grand River Dam Authority. We will work closely with and hire within the surrounding communities to create an EV Ecosystem in the region."
Canoo previously announced Panasonic as its battery cell provider. The company will begin renovations on its 100,000 sq.ft building located on a 10-acre campus in Q4, 2022 in preparation for delivery of secured manufacturing equipment in Q1, 2023. This location will produce proprietary battery modules on high-capacity assembly lines with state-of-the-art automated machinery. Canoo has refined and validated its battery module manufacturing over recent months and is awaiting delivery of machinery at the new facility. The battery campus will be powered by hydroelectricity from Grand River Dam Authority.
Canoo's battery campus will implement workforce training programs in partnership with the Cherokee Nation, MidAmerica and other local training partners with a goal to provide high paying light blue collar jobs to the local community.

The Battery Facility will be in proximity to Canoo's MegaMicro Factory, a 400-acre campus at MidAmerica Industrial Park, a 9,000-acre industrial complex strategically located near some of the nation's most highly traveled thoroughfares. When built, the MegaMicro Factory will include a full commercialization facility with a paint, body shop and general assembly plant. It will be a significant investment in the state and will employ more than 2,000 when fully operational.
I guess the low price is meant to weed out the impatient fake believers.
Within the next 12 months I predict the military will order a shitload of vans; I predict FedEx and/or UPS will place huge orders, and I also predict Apple will purchase licensing rights to Canoo's proprietary "skateboard", for their EV.
I got out of GOEV a couple of days ago with a very nice profit and I immediately put those profits right back into MULN which is doing extremely well with their public tours. Have a nice day.

Absolutely RIGHT ON!! Canoo is doing everything right and the company has the very best electronic van on the market by far. I am continuing to buy more shares of GOEV at these ridiculously low prices.
While all the other EV players are focused on cars, Canoo is focusing on vans. IMO, they are about to control the EV van market....from commercial to family oriented.
Track records are very important to determining the validity of information. What is this company's/poster's track record? That should tell you everything you need to know.

Canoo's pickup truck was built with several unique features to help customers do more with their vehiclesi:
Pull-out Bed Extension:
The pickup truck bed is six feet long and can extend to a fully enclosed eight feet, allowing big items such as a 4 by 8 ft sheet of plywood to easily fit inside.
The pull-handle bed extension also helps with loading and unloading the truck. The extension also serves as a license plate holder.
When the bed is extended, a second layer of tailgate doors can be swiveled out.
The bed-extension also houses a secondary lamp, containing all tail lamp functions, so the truck can be driven while the bed space is maximized.
Fold Down Worktable + Cargo Storage:
To offer the greatest customer utility, the pickup features a front cargo storage area that can hold tools or gear, also includes a fold down worktable with electrical outlets.
The workstation table is extendable to allow customers to have maximized work surface on the go, in addition to providing an area to put on gear before heading out exploring.
Flip-Down Side Tables:
Both sides of the vehicle house a flip down table in two expandable depths.
Built into the side panel of the truck bed, the flip-down side table becomes a workbench with multi-functional power sources in close proximity.
Side Step + Storage:
On the side of the vehicle there is a hidden step to allow quick and easy access to the truck bed.
Underneath the step is a flexible storage area for items including: a first-aid kit, cooler for snacks and drinks, lockable laptop storage and more.
This space efficient feature is only possible due to Canoo's ultra-flat platform.
Modular Bed with Space Dividers:
The truck bed is modular with the use of Canoo's space divider system designed to keep items separate and secure.
The bed wall also incorporates modular wheel chocks to secure bikes and configurable tie downs for ladders, large equipment and other materials.
Multi-Accessory Charge Port:
The pickup truck can double as a powerplant with exportable power accessible on all sides of the vehicle.

The third break light doubles as an overhead light to see inside the cargo bed at night.

Roof Rack:
The pickup truck has optional roof racks in variable sizes for added cargo storage. The roof rack is easily accessible from the flatbed or via the sidestep.
Camper Shell:
