yeah... at 2.97... lol eom
I think Sprint HAS to buy this.
Imagine if this goes up to $3.50 and S takes over...
would you accept the $2.97 that they bid on? or even the $3.30 that DISH bid... LOL
pretty sad if you ask me...
Dish already gave the counter... $3.30 pps
as opposed to S which offered $2.97 pps
Not much of an offer there but nonetheless, it was brought to the table...
Now whether it is just a scare bid or something that CLWR would consider, is yet to be seen.
CLWR is underpriced. Everyone wants their spectrum but no one wants it that bad. If CLWR gets financing from an outside investor, it might just change the whole ball game. S just wants the spectrum and has nothing to offer CLWR. DISH could greatly enhance CLWR's field by adding 4G to satellite which would give a broader customer base...but they want it cheap.
investors question S's motive why the cheap offer at 2.97, would you take less than what market is saying right now? S wants to strong arm the deal since they already have a stake in CLWR.... interesting.
Where is the counter offer? Are we going to get a bidding war going or not?
Looks like up tomorrow . Tuesday gl

I'd take $5 / share in a heartbeat....!
3.18 coming up.... minor break out forming.
3.17 coming up...we break that watch out.
I think so too.
$5 is the magic number! IMO
CLWR
As Macquarie analyst Kevin Smithen stated, "We don't think Sprint can afford to chance any delays to a Clearwire closing, and we believe a compromise 'kiss' bid at $3.50-$3.75 (per share) would be sufficient to get dissident Clearwire minority holders and Dish to back down." The enormous volume that Clearwire's shares have seen in the past few months has made it unclear exactly who the Clearwire shares currently not "pledged" to either side (in support or opposition of Sprint), although we believe that the majority of these shares will be in opposition of Sprint. And therein lies the upside for Clearwire's investors. While Sprint may be able to block DISH's bid, it cannot close its own deal for Clearwire without the support of more minority shareholders, something that the company is unlikely to get without increasing its bid, possibly to $3.50-$3.75 per share, just as Macquarie analyst Kevin Smithen believes it will do.
wow I leave and friggin chit goes to $3.14
how much bigger is DISH offer than Sprints?
HUGE!!!!
Clearwire Corp. (CLWR) received an unsolicited bid from Dish Network Corp. (DISH) to buy the wireless broadband operator company for $5.15 billion, besting Sprint Nextel Corp.'s (S) buyout offer and setting up a """""potential takeover battle"""""
Somebody just got 29 K shares.... these 15s cant last long.
We might go up around 12:15....big buys coming in.
66 million traded and ........ no change.....never traded any stock that was static with so much traded
Thanks to you and the very best of luck in all your trades
interesting post...thanks for that perspective.
He could not see the future......once again
Which begs the question.....how long........And what is the share structure....... if they give up could be massive sell off....imo

Has anyone noticed Ihub has clwr high for Jan.8 3.33 on Historical main page , where Charts and Trades are ? Share holders also should get some form to sign for SEC to carry a investigation on the pps manipulation, none but s Softbank and clwr. Anyone including Sec can see and check that they have had a ceiling locked in on their bid and ask getting the shares on open market even cheaper then their offer.
I for one was in clwr heavy and took a loss to get out, because of the locked in buying and selling pressure of S Softbank and clwr. I would think all this was done by the BOD which Sprint also has more board member to even control clwr BOARD. To me this is a fraudulent charge that SEC should fine and also overrule the buy out with Softbank because of fraudulent activity .
Anyone can see that the PPS has be locked long time forceing shareholders to buy and sell at a certain price. Manipulation even the Market Makers should be fined for being part of this Plan . Shareholders maybe could contact Crest to even get clwr shareholders signatures brought into court .
This is Planned Fraud to me ,should be to the SEC. good luck
You might luck up and get 4.00 to satify CREST ??
Im sure sprint and softbank will raise their offer above DISH

Turn out good for shareholders ,its the best choice for CLWR ,to much ayes over the cake, and luck S and softbank don't care !, but the CLWR board have too much to lose
Probably going to cost s and softbank ,maybe clwr lot money, plus maybe fines . I don't know what happen gl to all. I be watching , that all I can say , wish the board best luck ,maybe it turn out goodd for shareholders , but I doubt it ?
Few company over the history ,has been hostage like this one at this moment!!! I can't believe that happen!!

Clearwire holds the largest spectrum portfolio in the U.S. in the upper bands. Its spectrum is an average163 MHz in the top 100 U.S. markets.
Clearwire operates a nationwide WiMAX network and is planning to make the transition to TD-LTE.
Clearwire has wider bands of contiguous spectrum than any other player.
Clearwire can load a lot more customers onto their network and provide each of them with higher bandwidth applications such as streaming video
Clearwire's higher frequencies actually permit more efficient use of spectrum for high-volume data applications
