He doesn't have any aspiration of being publicly traded. He has some nice clients but it's just a little consulting company.

I can't say for sure that BTSR couldn't be a suitable shell for another company. On a quick glance, it didn't look too dirty, at least as of the time they went dark. But if the company doesn't exist at all anymore, it's really just a zombie ticker rather than a shell.

No, BrightStar Information Technology Group went out of business in Apr 2009.

BrightStar Consulting, Inc. is my company. I created it when I left BrightStar ITG when they went out of business. We do Actuate/BIRT reporting solutions and training.

To me BTSR looks like it's just an empty shell

I just called 501-952-8110 and spoke to Scott Bryden -- nice guy. He confirmed that Brightstar Information Technology Group, the publicly traded company, went out of business in April 2009. He had worked for them. He started his own company, Brightstar Consulting, Inc.

One company has nothing to do with the other, legally, and anyone who suggests otherwise is mistaken or just plain lying.

Been watching BTSR and had a few minutes to do some DD here.

First, todays trading session is near an all-time record for this stock in terms of volume. Last time it had this volume, was in december, and it hit .015.

Second, Website is up and looks active. Now take a look at the address listed on the site and the one on pinksheets:
