Based on what, the 3Q drilling program they announced? It ran up real nice not too long ago but the initial drill test disappointed. Maybe the question is, are they sitting on something as valuable as they've let on... or not? With oil so low, is their acreage desirable to the big boys or not? I don't know those answers.

It usually or always comes back to a similar differential, as far as I know, it's just that due to BKBEF being unsolicited/grey and not very liquid.

I hate the way this trades. The other day BBI finished even but BKBEF finished down 6%, and now today BBI is even but BKBEF is down 8%! .... Makes no sense

You make a good point on the mass exodus happening because of people that were only here for a quick pay day, I was one of them.

Hmmm, definitely a good example of buy on rumor and sell before the news. The delay was telling IMO. But I'm not sure if the whole thing is kaput, since unless they're outright lying (which happens a lot in the OTC) they have viable wells. In theory, the infrastructure issues & use of a 1/4" choke on the one well mean it might produce a lot more later on.

Or the cynical view on that is the well isn't great, so the choke thing is BS and just an excuse to avoid admitting the reality of it.

Definitely looks like a mass exodus of those hoping for gangbusters well results and a PPS runup. I wish we knew if insiders were selling now, and leading up to the news, or not.

Text book pump and dump ... I feel so stupid the clues were everywhere from paid articles to an incredibly shady conference call. Collect 100 mil in market cap from financing and offerings, drill a hole in the ground for shits and giggles and call it a day. CEO and team walk away w/ their money. Gonna try and get out on a dead cat bounce tomorrow I hope.

4M volume already, down ~10% but not a crash. Yet. I'm thinking there's some general disappointment in the results from a short term perspective. Long term perspectives might see this as pretty decent results, but the reasons for lack of full or better data sort of sound like excuses right now IMO.

The throttle on one of the wells as an example. Infrastructure issues which will be fixed? When? Is that a guarantee?

Seems like another example of a small company delaying news, due to it being a little less impressive than they hoped. Due to issues or whatever the reason. I've rarely seen a company delay due to news being better than expected. They always seem more than eager to blast out impressive news immediately. So I halfway expected this.

Operator just came on and said the CC is over. That's pretty ridiculous and a bit shady I don't know what happened. He was literally mid sentence in announcing the news everyone was wondering

Soooo ... are you listening? If not ... He was just starting to announce the wells after 30 minutes of meaningless banter, someone even said "So what about the wells?" and they all laughed ... He said the initial results look good but the real data won't be available till middle of next week, then while explaining how they are looking into where to build a pipeline and batteries, in mid sentence he says "Do I need to stop?" and the call went blank. Been sitting here 15 min I don't know what's going on .... Anyway they seem to be promising. There won't be any buy out by EnCana or Shell I can tell. I got in hoping for that and a big pop, but I think I'll hold onto my position anyway for LT investment. It seems they are striving to be their own big company. I'll post again if it comes back on and they say anything interesting, hopefully it does this is very unprofessional.

You can get it on Yahoo Finance page. Select "BKBEF" not "BKBEF.PK". For some reason, the latter is frozen from last October.

But I usually watch BBI.V because it's the more liquid and normally trading instrument. Probably a better representation of what's going on.

BKBEF is on the grey market in the US OTC. BBI.V seems to be the more official vehicle (on the toronto exchange).

Right now, the CEO is around a week late with his expected timeframe for releasing the results for their first two wells.
