That’s the latest message out from Anthony Scaramucci.

For those not familiar with Scaramucci, he’s a well-known American investor.

He’s the founder of SkyBridge Capital, an investment firm that has over $2 billion under management.

In his latest interview, Scaramucci discussed Bitcoin as a political issue.

So far, Trump has come out in support of crypto.

A clear 180 from comments made during 2019…

Scaramucci believes that the Biden administration has failed the crypto industry.

Namely by appointing Gary Gensler as chair of the SEC - who has unfairly cracked down on crypto companies.

Scaramucci explains that crypto shouldn’t be a political issue.

“The regulation of cryptocurrency and blockchain should not be partisan or politicised… We need both parties to agree on appropriate commercially attractive regulation for the industry.”

In Scaramucci’s eyes, the Democrats are making a HUGE mistake.

And Trump is clearly winning the single issue crypto vote…

But Biden still has time to show his support…

Moving on, Scaramucci also gave some Bitcoin price targets:

“I do believe that this is going to go to $100,000 by year end… And above $200,000 by the end of next year… I just think that there is an overwhelming amount of institutional demand coming into the Bitcoin market.”

He even made a long-term prediction:

“In 10 years, it is not impossible that Bitcoin could be between $600,000 and $800,000 and still be lower than the overall market cap of gold.”

Why does Scaramucci have these bullish price targets?

Well from his 36 years of experience on Wall Street, he knows how crazy this institutional demand can get:

“Wall Street is a selling machine. Wall Street is just now getting this product onboarded at wire houses, brokerage houses, registered investment advisors etc. Two years from now every person that manages wealth will have Bitcoin as a weapon.”

What can the gold ETFs tell us about Bitcoin?

Fred Krueger answered this exact question in a recent Twitter post.

It only took 5 months for the Bitcoin ETFs to reach $15 billion in net inflows.

Whereas it took gold 5 YEARS to reach this milestone.

And in those 5 years, the price of gold doubled.

But it also doubled again in the following 2 years without any new flows…

So far, the price of Bitcoin HAS doubled since the launch of the ETFs.

And this doubling came in the span of 5 months compared to 5 years.

So should we expect something bigger from Bitcoin? 🤷‍♀️

Fred seems to believe so.

It’s important to note that at the time of these flows into gold, the market cap was at $2.6 trillion. Now it is ~$15 trillion.

Bitcoin’s market cap was only ~$0.7 trillion at the time of the ETF launch.

Based off of this and the flows we’ve already seen, Fred believes we should expect something much bigger for Bitcoin.

“There is a lot of reason to believe that the next couple of years, the next 2, 3, 4 years are going to be extraordinarily good for Bitcoin. This game is played over years not months.”

WHY ISN’T BTC $100K? 🤨
The US Bitcoin ETFs have acquired 200% of the Bitcoin mined since launch.

And at ~$70k, the Bitcoin price is up more than 50%…

But many are asking why isn’t it up more?

In a recent Twitter thread, Charles Edwards explained exactly why Bitcoin isn’t at $100,000 yet.

Let’s break it down.

Even though the Bitcoin ETFs have purchased so much BTC, they’ve been battling long-term holder selling.

The chart below tracks the percentage of Bitcoin held by HODLers - those who have held BTC for 2+ years.

That percentage has dropped from an all-time high of 57% in December 2023 to 54% today.

That 3% comes out to ~590,000 Bitcoin, over 2.5x the amount that the ETFs purchased…

“As we can see from prior cycles, selling into price appreciation is typical behaviour, and a good amount of this will also simply be changing hands from Grayscales ETF to the new ETFs, exaggerating the decline.”

Charles also believes we haven’t seen the impact of the Bitcoin Halving yet:

“With the daily Bitcoin issuance dropping by 50% in April, we will likely see the delta between ETF consumption and Bitcoin mined widen a lot over the next year. It also takes full quarters for institutions to review, sign-off and allocate (at best). So the major ETF flows are likely still ahead of us.”

Another factor to consider is the time of year…

Market lulls during Summer are quite common - Summer is a risk off period for many major asset managers.

And US liquidity has also been flat since the March Bitcoin pump.

For strong price appreciation to return, Charles believes we’ll have to wait for at least one of these to happen:

Higher average daily ETF buying

Lower long-term holder selling

Growth in US liquidity

Until then, we’ll likely be hovering around this range for a little while longer.

The Bitcoin ETFs just had a HUGE week.

And it also marks five straight weeks of net inflows. 🔥

In total the Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of $1.83 billion last week.

With Tuesday being the standout, bringing in $886.6 million in a single day.

With inflows of $1.83 billion, the Bitcoin ETFs purchased a combined 25,729 BTC for the week.

That’s over 8x the amount of Bitcoin mined over the course of the week.

With these inflows, June is off to an insane start.

During May, the Bitcoin ETFs purchased 29,592 Bitcoin.

After the first week of June, they’re already at 25,279 Bitcoin.

The Gap between BlackRock’s IBIT and Grayscales GBTC continues to widen:

The ETFs are going to continue buying up as much Bitcoin as they can.

And June is already shaping up to be a HUGE month for them.

This all begs just one 1 question…

This time at a tech fundraiser event in San Francisco, Trump called himself a “crypto president”. (reports from Reuters)

Trump also raised $12 million from the fundraiser hosted by tech venture capitalists David Sacks and Chamath Palihapitiya.

According to Republican National Committeewoman Harmeet Dhillon, Trump stressed that he was supportive of the crypto sector.

But…

He did not offer specifics on his proposed crypto policy.

So far 80,500 is the target for the apex event. It should soon crash from there coinciding with the stock market crash. My assumed target date is around November 5th. It should settle in the 20K range for a while. We are living in a huge once in 300-year bubble cycle about to burst in a magnificent fashion. Just like the Tulip Mania we had a known Pandemic in a known timeframe, and we IGNORED it till an actual death hit our shore. Amazing ability to pretend the future is always rosy.

My external event this time will be the crowning of a despot on November 5th. His wrath and retribution will be spewing out on that same day's speech, from internment camps for 10 million illegals to using the justice department to attack his opponents. He will even defy the pro-trump supreme court soon after. He will vent and it seems illogical the street will ignore him once he is crowned.

As for inflation, forgetaboutit! There will be no rate cut in 2024 and instead a resurgence of inflation and eventual stagflation. The two-pronged attack will devastate our economy for decades to come. A long winter if we don't blow ourselves up in the meantime.
