And I remember seeing an article - how WS likes 'to keep' Stocks around (not higher) than $5 - is because they are ideal for swing-trading. Small number of Banks/HF's working together - can rise and fall the SP easy - moving the stock 5- 10% on a daily basis - knowing precisely top and bottom - as they create it themselves.

Being new in Bio (where gut feeling - as in many other areas of life) in the end is what decides the actions - I will stay with AMRN for now :)

To JL, you are in fact still often quoted for earlier posts and statements on AMRN board :)

That will never happen. Have you seen the short interest in BNGO? It's like 16% since Sept 15th. Just crazy that MM's can sell shares they do not own to bring down the price. I believe the short interest was at or around 20% earlier this summer. We will see who wins this tug of war. I'm betting on the longs but what do I know, not much lol. Have a good weekend

Bionano Genomics Announces Study Finds The Combination Of Optical Genome Mapping And Short-Read Sequencing Provides A Comprehensive Genome Analysis For Lung Cancer Samples And Enables The Discovery Of New Biomarkers

Non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) is the leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide. Genomic structural variations (SVs), including large indels, inversions, duplications, and translocations, are essential causes of alterations in gene expression and are recognized as hallmarks in tumorigenesis. In this study, recurrently SV-disrupted genes were significantly enriched in cancer-related pathways highlighting the importance of OGM for detecting all classes of SVs. This study utilized short-read NGS and Bionano's OGM to obtain high-technical-confidence somatic SVs to investigate candidate oncogenes in cancer patients. An essential role of high-technical-confidence somatic SVs guided the identification of two new oncogenes (TRIO and SESTD1) in NSCLC.

Saphyr’s Value Keeps Increasing
In recent months, new data that increases the value of Bionano’s Saphyr has been frequently released.

For example, in a study of pediatric leukemia patients, Saphyr’s diagnoses were 100% in accordance with those of traditional methods of DNA analysis, Bionano reported on July 14. And in 60% of the patients, the product uncovered “new clinically relevant information, the company stated. It added that:

” the new information that (Saphyr) revealed could represent an opportunity for improved treatment options, patient stratification, or medical care. In addition, these findings uncovered novel gene fusion events that are being explored for prognostic applications in cancer management.”

Moreover, when analyzing “patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia,” Saphyr was able to produce more information than the commonly used tools in 45% of the patients, Bionano reported. This shows that the product enables more thorough diagnoses than “traditional cytogenetics techniques,” according to the company.

You are not kidding. The news today was awesome and we only went up 2.25%. I was hoping we would of climbed higher but o'well. Daily PPS doesn't really matter. We did only have a average amount of volume today. I only got into BNGO this year but excited to see how far the PPS can go. I've been adding on the dips. Finally got avg PPS around $6. GLTA involved with BNGO ;)...
