We are now hearing that we need to raise the retirement age, or cut benefits for Social Security. Why not leave social Security alone, and cut the benefits for government employees. Better yet, lets pay government employees what they are actually worth. That would save us a fortune in its self. The same folks that the government is stealing money from are the ones funding the government employees pay and retirement. Government employees work 20 years and retire. The non public employees are now working twice that long before retirement, and then being begrudged the meager existence on Social Security. (which by the way they paid for.) It seems that we live in a sick and corrupt society. It know I am talking to my-self, but that seems to be kind of like talking to a politician. We hear what we say, they pretend to hear what we say, and it gets us nowhere.
