RUN down 34% - solar stocks down on House Bill the bill could significantly curtail and dampen profit margins of clean energy businesses, including Sunrun Inc. (NASDAQ:RUN), which provides solar technologies and energy storage products primarily for residential customers.
WOLF 50% bounce pretty surprising for a CH 11 threat
glad I golf a lot and dont trade much Only lost $10 golfing today LOL
Absolutely abhorrent if true, but the company claims they are inaccurate allegations. Could be they were accused and were cleared:
UnitedHealth said in response that “the U.S. Department of Justice investigated these allegations, interviewed witnesses, and obtained thousands of documents that demonstrated the significant factual inaccuracies in the allegations.”
The company also said in an emailed statement that the DOJ declined to pursue the matter after reviewing all the evidence during its multi-year investigation.
UnitedHealth falls after report it secretly paid nursing homes to reduce hospital transfers

Idiots. To think they could pay nursing homes to keep people out of hospitals where the costs are higher than nursing homes is outright fraud.
ah yes DEBT - eventually folks gets antsy and want their money back. funny that. that will just keep going down I suspect only buying on the way down is Short covering
It's called debt. That's how.
company had 185 Million revenue last quarter and lost a lot.
Im too lazy to goo look but how in the hell do you go tits up with such huge revs
WOLF down 60% Wolfspeed stock was plummeting on Wednesday after The Wall Street Journal reported the embattled chip wafer maker could file for bankruptcy within a matter of weeks.
DMN for you today 80% down after halt HCTI and PLRZ slight bounce after 99% drops last week
My UNH shares I bought in the 250's are looking really nice right now. I still have a bunch of shares I bought higher that are still in the red.
Hcti down 90% Thursday. Another 73% today. Went to .007. Ah back up to a penny
HCTI a carbon copy of PLRZ a few days ago drops 90% then another 50% AH Crazy
Golf was great weather First person that asks how I played gets banned
Ah good point. Hopefully they don't find anything.
I suspect after Thompson was killed UNH began a forensic review of their billing practices and he had to know what was coming. I would have quit as well.
PLRZ was $1.49 May 5 May 15 its under a penny
under a penny? what the heck - how the heck much did they dilute that stock that it turned into a crappy penny stock?
HCTI 90% from HOD yesterday at 4 cents
that PLRZ just keeps sinking to 1 c now
That it for me today LOL have golf
Did the ceo step down because of this? That is the question. I added a few more. Will keep doing that in small increments and hopefully by next year I will be happy.
UnitedHealth shares slide as criminal probe report adds to investor fears

It just got worse. I was on UNH Medicare Advantage and I ended up paying over $3K in copays. I dropped them after 1 year and got a Medicare supplemental with BCBS which costs me $2400 a year with zero copays.
PLRZ down 50% AH after being down over 90% thats a rough day
LOL I never looked wasnt interested had just got home from early morning cold round of golf needed a hot shower - I am getting a damn hot tub finally after all these years
I don't think it was a failed drug, I think it was an offering on plrz: https://www.otcmarkets.com/filing/html?id=18456320&guid=C0r-kqVrjB7Fdth
PLRZ getting pulverized
down 90% t0 3 cents from 34 cents so I assume it was their only drug
Well I think long term this is a total buying opportunity if you have the time to wait. Just don't know where the bottom is. And that Luigi a-hole didn't make matters any better for them. I can't for the life of me understand how anyone can justify what he did. And I probably hate the insurance industry worse than anyone. The whole concept where you have to buy their product but you hope you don't ever have to use it and if you do they penalize you by either dropping you (car insurance co) or try to deny your claim or allowance for medical procedures. In what world other than insurance is that the case? Give us your money but don't use our services or else! I understand how people feel regarding that topic but to murder a man in cold blood on a nyc street by shooting him in the back? WTF? And people love him for it? Sick world.
Wasn't so long ago that UNH was over 600. The projected Medicaid cuts are killing them.
ARGHF now up 38% - have no idea why - don't see anyone talking about it on X.
I got pfe too and am getting killed but I didn't buy it to trade it - I have it long term and am collecting a nice yield on it for now. UNH had it's ceo step down and guidance suspended and that is why it is dumping hugely. I started buying it this morning - way too early - should have waited. It was over 500 last month.
Tough sledding in the whole healthcare industry and bio tech with Bobby Jr in charge. The only thing I own now is PFE and MRNA for the dividends.
UNH what dumpster - down 16% 318 now - I bought a few here and there this morning but I wish I waited.
ARGHF (formally steef) my last penny baghold that I have left is bouncing - up 21%. rotf
took a small amount of CODI options going golfing LOL August 7:50 calls
NCNA just going to zero
VEEE down 40% on offering - nothing like putting the brakes on a big move lol FORT PIERCE, FL / ACCESS Newswire / May 8, 2025 / Twin Vee PowerCats Co. (NASDAQ:VEEE), ("Twin Vee" or the "Company"), a manufacturer, distributor, and marketer of power sport boats, today announced the pricing its underwritten public offering of 750,000 shares of its common stock. Each share of common stock is being sold at a public offering price of $4.00 per share.
I suppose the uncertainty is reflected in premiums. If significant fraud is involved, this will not rebound at all. However, if it is to just one subsidiary and involves restating the numbers, then this could be an incredible opportunity. I believe that if dividends remain unchanged and the financials are favorable, then we could experience very nice recovery. Conversely, if the situation is worse than expected, then it could turn into a disaster. LOL
I rarely trade option but I agree CODI seems to have little premium WTH did that CEO do LOL
Was a 1.4 Billion market cap now $500 Million That is a bad man LOL
I bought the CODI August $7.50 Strikes which are not that much more expensive than the June Strikes. Gives it more time for the dust to settle and for it to recover. I honestly can't see how this doesn't bounce back to at least $15 by then unless there was some serious Fraud. Once the dust settles and they announce the new earnings date followed by dividends still being paid out this will explode. I can't believe how cheap the premiums are on this right now. I could have already taken almost a double on my calls, but I am going to hold them for a bigger payout. At least, I hope! LOL
Krispy Kreme did it years ago. They'd book sales to their franchises at quarter end to increase revenue then reverse them after wards.
DNUT down 27% Shares of Krispy Kreme Inc. tumbled into record-low territory in early Thursday trading, after the doughnut seller reported disappointing earnings and said it would no longer pay a dividend, as it looks to save cash and pay down debt.
I flipped it for a quick profit - sold it at 6.77 - shu9ld have hung on a bit more but doesn't matter
CODI read the news cant see how financing of inventory issues could cause that much of a tank that is a huge market cap clip but then again I would have to peel back a few layers on Financials and that just seems like too much work given I have a tee time in an hour
CEO of subsiduary gassed with no severance so sounds bad
June 20 $5 calls very reasonable priced all of them are actually if you want to play the bounce.
CODI down 63% - problem with one of its subsidiaries.
VSTE down 56% on delisting Vast expects to file a Form 25 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to delist its ordinary shares and public warrants on or about May 15, 2025, with the delisting expected to become effective ten days thereafter.
WW wow - down 54% WeightWatchers, whose dieting and wellness programs were once a central part of U.S. fitness culture, has filed for bankruptcy to adjust to the increasing use of drugs like Ozempic for weight loss.
ENGS all over the place today but they keep halting it
As long as you are long term you won't hate yourself.
I bought AAPL this morning. I'm sure I'll hate myself. lol.
Picked up a few UNH in the 394's - hope I want them.
WOLF hilarious Wolfspeed Stock Falls. The Short Squeeze Is Running Out of Steam. Should we buy some now jic Mackenzie changes her mind again?
By Mackenzie Tatananni Wolfspeed stock was set to end to its impressive run on Tuesday, a little over a week before the semiconductor manufacturer is set to report earnings. Shares fell 2.9% to $4 after seeing a double-digit percent increase in premarket trading. The benchmark S&P 500 was up 0.1%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite rose 0.2%. Wolfspeed closed up 26% at $4.13 on Monday, though shares traded as high as $4.22 during the session, according to Dow Jones Market Data. One day later, the rally finally appeared to be running out of steam. The latest activity was likely the result of a short squeeze, when the price of a heavily shorted stock rises suddenly, forcing short sellers to buy back shares to cover their positions. This results in a further increase in the price. On Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal published a story saying Wolfspeed was "the most-shorted U.S. stock," news that may have brought the potential for gains from short sellers closing out their positions to investors' attention. Then, Raymond James released its latest semiconductor industry report on Friday. Analysts noted that Wolfspeed topped the list of stocks with the largest short-interest ratio, at 41%. While the shares began rising on Wednesday, they saw the largest jump on Monday. After plateauing around $3.20, the stock price suddenly spiked over $4. The newfound attention also thrusts Wolfspeed's coming earnings report into the spotlight. The company, which specializes in so-called wide bandgap semiconductors, which allow devices to operate at higher temperatures and voltages, is set to share its latest financial results on May 8.. WOLF - Took a month but this one finally started a nice bounce. Apparently there is a large short position that is being covered. https://www.barrons.com/articles/wolfspeed-stock-soars-why-cf03742b
the following was written by the founding moderator of this board, harbs
for me, the most profitable and consistent trades i make on a daily basis are the bounce trades...typically intra-day bounce plays..and the harder and longer they fall, the higher they bounce...
anything that is crashing down and belongs on watch belongs here...bb's, pinks, big board stocks - all of 'em...we run scans all day long - looking for those dropping at least 15-20%, or a stock that has been beaten down for days or weeks straight and finally turns up, a reversal of sorts..
ideally i'd like this to just be a thread where we can post a ticker during the day and not much more needs to be said...any bad news or anything causing the tank would be helpful, though...
this is not a long term thread, a break-out thread, an accumulation thread, a dd thread...let's nail the bottoms..
THIS IS FOR BOUNCES ONLY...(and reverse bounces - shorting)
the timid and faint of heart need not apply...
ps - i appreciate all of you that make your calls real time...as you can see, that is what i try and do ( sometimes i'll even post where my bid is, before i'm filled, or may never get filled )..bottom line is protect and build your own accounts, but if you have the time it's nice..( obviously, when you're flipping a naz 20 times in a day, it might not make a lot of sense to post all the trades )
and i appreciate the calls real-time because that helps people make money - it's not to say that anyone should buy or sell when i or you do, but heck, what good is it to tell us after the fact..how many times does a stock close up 1,000% and the supposed guru posts after hours -"oh, btw, i loaded the boat on xyz this am - made bank" hmmm, thanks..
ok, one other trade..when a stock shoots up like crazy, i like to call them "naz-crackers" lol..well we try and short those for the reverse bounce...day 1 of huge volume always scary to short into unless it's just an over done momo play...but days 2 and 3 are usually the best spot..
