China Bubble?

There have been many talks about a bubble in China lately.

I think Jim Rogers is right; he basically said something like: “people who couldn’t even spell ‘bubble’ are all the sudden experts on the subject”.

Now don’t get me wrong. I’m extremely bullish in China going forward - say the next century if politicians in the West cannot get their act together.

But that doesn’t mean we won’t see setbacks in the short-run.
Any thoughts on all this? Is the structure of production in China distorted and un-backed by legitimate savings?

The 1st Post

Hello everyone,

There are a million theories surrounding economics and investing, but only two schools of thought have stood the test of time and have the track record to prove it:

“Austrian free-market theory” - which has prevailed where all others have failed miserably

&

“Value Investing” - which needs no introduction

It is my hope that this board serves as an open ground for serious investors and economists alike.

So where do we start? Emerging markets with high savings rates or commodities that cannot be printed by government bureaucrats?
