The company is in the process of reverse merging into Bahamas Development Corporation, and the amendment to change the name of the Company from Bahamas Development Corporation. to Cannabis Consortium, Inc. has already been filed with the State of Nevada.

This year the company purchased an Oil Extraction machine that will be leased to its Partners to Distillate and Manufacture Oil.
Cannabis's Partners have several years of experience producing Cannabis Distillate. The oil will be needed to infuse the products sold under "Infused Edibles" and marketed to the 400 outlets that Infuse Edibles services already.
The Extraction machine will also be used to produce private label Oil for third parties and Cannabis's Partners have already lined up 5 white label partners!
Both operations will be housed within the building Cannabis is seeking to purchase in Northern California.
The company’s partners have already begun operations to infuse edibles with THC under its Master License Agreement with Infused Edibles.
Cannabis will be revenue generating and income producing during the second quarter of 2018.
The company has made an offer to purchase a 2,700 square foot building in a lot in the Green Zone in Northern California. After the building has been placed under contract, Temporary licenses will be applied so the Edible Company can extend operations to that facility. The timeline for obtaining the temporary license is expected by the end of May.
The building will be the first of many tangible assets owned by Cannabis and leased back to its Partners at appropriate market rates for buildings in the cannabis sector.
The company also recently reached an agreement to purchase an operating cannabis distillate and brand manufactured and marketed in California.
The cannabis distillate has been servicing the cannabis market for the past 2 years and has quickly become a household name. Their premium oil is in such high demand in the cannabis oil market it has been sought out by some of the largest names in the cannabis industry for private labeling!!
Last year the marijuana industry took in almost $9 billion in sales according to the managing director of BDS Analytics, Tom Adams.
Considering that this figure was BEFORE California began the legal sale of weed, the number is destined to be a lot higher this year!
California just began the legal sales of recreational marijuana on January 1st of this year.
A study from University of California at Davis has forecast that California’s recreational sales will total $5 billion. That's more than half of what the industry brought in last year in sales!
California's market of 38.2 million people is larger than combining the populations of states that currently allow marijuana for recreational use.
With California representing a massive market and many other states expected to potentially climb on the bandwagon, the industry is set to flourish. Sales are expected to rise to $11 billion in 2018, and to as much as $21 billion in 2021!
Bahamas Development Corp. and its Partners in California have also entered into a transaction with an indoor grow facility to grow high-grade cannabis CBD.
The revenue from these plants will be approximately $2 million annually!
The first grow will be ready to harvest in the coming weeks.
Cannabis Consortium is also working towards getting a farm in Colorado planted, and is in negotiations with two other growers from other states. The indoor grow will help offset some of the initial needs to fulfill orders for CBD cartridges.
CBD oil has been said to help alleviate chronic pain, help with neurological disorders, and help treat cancer.
The cannabidiol (CBD) market is estimated to grow by 700% by 2020, according to Forbes!
The company's research division will focus on the medical benefits of CBD oils for the treatment of animals.
Most CBD oil for dogs and other pets as well as for humans is derived from hemp oil. This means it contains very small traces of THC or none at all. Because of this, all 50 states have approved the use of hemp-based CBD for human and animal products.
In 2016, $66.75 billion was spent on our pets in the U.S. The fact that CBD oils may be a lot cheaper than veterinary bills is what could create a massive market!
2018 is proving to be a year of key events in the marijuana industry...
Nevada just recently reported that rrecreational marijuana taxable sales have totaled $304.73 million as since the state started legal sales last July. Vermont became the first state to legalize recreational marijuana through legislature and at least 12 more states are poised to consider marijuana legalization this year as well. The growing acceptance of the drug as well as more states considering legislation could serve as major catalysts for marijuana stocks to head higher. As people continue to learn about the benefits of marijuana, the market will grow even larger!
Bahamas Development Corp. intends to apply for MJ licenses in several U.S. States beginning with, but not limited to, Colorado. After the Colorado licenses have been approved, Cannabis plans to execute joint venture agreements in other States where cannabis has been legalized.
For the purposes of expediting the business plan and in order to quickly move to a revenue generation phase, the business lines are being structured in a manner that allows Cannabis to effect sales without immediately requiring MJ licenses.
