Excellent point !
Nice to see you agreed that I said everyone doesn't like these stocks right now! Here is one guy thats interesting to follow: https://www.marijuanamoment.net/could-house-republicans-end-cannabis-prohibition-op-ed/?s=09
What matters is what the market thinks and the market thinks all these companies are nothing but targets for shorting. The market also does not share your optimism for the future of cannabis companies or they would not be down 90 percent with nothing but pipe dreams in sight. There will not be legalization in the US anytime soon (this year), I would be willing to bet on it. If they do legalize it will be medical, which isn't going to be a big enough catalyst to turn things around since medical pot is already legal in 37 states. The lobbyist for Big Pharma and Alcohol have really done a fantastic job of buying politicians to keep Cannabis as a schedule 1 drug, under the auspices of social justice/equity.
Many are undervalued because everyone is pissed off and not putting $ here. All i said is they did better than what I was expecting. Bevo should make this next quarter look better btw. The ship was turned around if you think back where we where. As for what cannabis companies I believe will survive, acb, ogi, hiti, tilray, and ayrwf. I'm looking over a few others as well. On Twitter I also see a guy talking to the senators... he is thinking talks will not start until after April. I think he is pushing legalization, but imo Biden and the senate will probably only push through medical, and I'm taking a risk that will happen this year.

And if done responsible, growth. Their aquasitions with this new ceo is working out. Same with othets in this style of industry as take high tide for example, their aquasitions are working out as well. Nothing new so I'm not sure why you are pushing it as a. Negative
Next month, next year?
The song remains the same
"Adjusted" EBITDA has come and gone. No one bought it
There will be spurts up and spurts down. Their stated desire for more acquisitions, while still facing declining revenue, will require even more dilution
Really, how much longer do you think these cannabis companies can hold out? Most are down 80 to 90 percent. I predict US legalization in any form is a few years away. Big Pharma and alcohol dont want it and they have VERY powerful lobbies.
I disagree as I'm thinking the usa is going to start talking about legalization of medical (not rec) over the next few months. Biden started the ball rolling to this tune late last year. Rec will probably start getting discussed in 2024.
The fact is that the Hedge Funds are going to continue to short these Cannabis Companies to oblivion and there is no material event on the horizon i.e. US Legalization to slow that down. For the Hedge Funds its like shooting fish in a barrel.
Mergers, acquisitions, and % distribution = DILUTION
No one fell for the phony "adjusted" numbers. Their real numbers were worse than expected
Even their PR has all over it that "Adjusted EBITDA is a Non-GAAP Measure". Meaning it is not generally accepted. Fun stuff in the "adjustments":
Out-of-period adjustments $516,000
Non-recurring items $6,803,000
Markets under development $1,073,000
That's $8.3m of phony stuff
Oh wait, don't forget almost $12m in "Business Transformation related charges"
No one is buying it
I'm surprised it's as good as it is, the ship has definitely turned around. I value player's input pointing out the dilution as well. I didn't listen to the cc to explain the numbers, hopefully they gave some guidance as well.
Wow insane dilution!
Net product revenue: $61.7m
Selling shares revenue: $68.7m
Again, their main product is shares, not cannabis
Good report today. I like it.:) ACB.
I believe most will love this video about aurora and "science"
Starting tomorrow, every morning for the next two weeks, "America’s top conservative legalization advocate," will offer up 10 Reasons to be Bullish on #SAFEBanking in the #118thcongress . All are upgrades from the 117th. Off to church, enjoy your day.

Just noticed they made up a new website! https://www.auroramj.com/
Not saying we will have the same outcome, as im listening to hightides cc, but hightide did have a big slowdown with cbd sales. Meaning Relieve might come inless.here with acb Hopefully our company here is as upbeat as high tides overall is! I'm excited for us...ebita positive finally...well, we are supposed to be.
"A call for more German production
Schinnenburg wants the federal government to vastly increase the production volumes for medical cannabis.
“To meet the growing demand and make medical cannabis ‘Made in Germany’ an export hit,” Schinnenburg told MJBizDaily he wants the government to increase the production quota from the current 2.6 tons per year to 50 tons"
For the industry as a whole or just acb? Imo it's going to be scheduled differently in the USA which changes the landscape for everyone in this space
i feel something big is coming
I'm seeing more and more cannabis stocks finally showing some financial strengths. My hope is ACB pulls off this adjusted ebita positive in a credible way. 5 bucks probably won't be this week, but if things play out as I'm hopeful about, I can see that happening. Even the usa will probably legalization medical first like our ceo said over a year ago. We need to show we can make the $ bill at the end of the day. Others in tbis industry are now showing strengths, so we need to too
That's what I'm thinking. merge with an American company like the one Jim Belushi owns. someones buying and accumulating
I don't believe ACB can revive itself alone, a merger of some sort is needed here.
RIIIIIIGHT, wishful thinking at best.
Hopefully. BTW, I noticed many other stocks using "adjusted ebita" so I guess it's not way abnormal. Cheapens the idea about it anyway. A few things can make this stock pop imo, Even if canada removes or lessons the excise tax would help out many, not just aurora. Both germany and the usa are moving forward, so eventually we should start hearing things about that. OGI had a respectful earnings. I was not overly impressed with Tilray's, but Tilray's CEO continues to validate the moves our CEO did here ar Aurora over the past couple years were smarter and yet conservative moves. Hiti also has some respectful trends going on too. So yes, but I've been wrong before, I believe the industry as a whole started showing some strengths... and I too expect the excitement to grow in 2023 for the industry.
giddy up. have a feeling some big news in the works
It is better to remain cautious because legalization at the federal level is not won.
I've been ready for way too long. Medical will most likely be first in the USA, which I believe will be discussed here in 2023..and where we should start seeing the excitement with many of these stocks again.
Don't be fooled. legal pot soon
Acb was ahead whe. It comes to this concepts. Listening to the tilray earnings they just said they are looking to grow fruits and vegetables with some of their under utilized space. Tilray lagged aurora when it came to focusing on medical, and now this. Aurora at least did it in a way to aave on taxes
We know the position of the company with respect to France where the justice has just recognized that the sale of CBD flowers is legal and that the state can not oppose it, which is a de facto legalization for CBD ?
France is the largest consumer of Cannabis in Europe !
https://igrownews.com/frances-state-council-revokes-order-prohibiting-cbd-sale/
spot on. they want to have a federal tax on pot. it will happen
That's what I've been thinking. Jim Belushi has been looking to buy a Canadian grow operation. he's taking over the northwest pot market
$325.57 debt. minus total assets might be ok for possible takeover merger by another less in debt expanding company. 2023 we shall see.
Recreational marijuana
I guess you might not have been reading my take on that as I've said a few times we are on the same page about ebita
No we don't. Because they will not achieve "ebita positive this month".
Their claim is "run rate, adjusted, ebita positive".
You could drive a freight train through the open holes those 2 qualifiers leave.
The market doesn't put any credence in the BS. But, they can claim anything they want. The financials continue to tell the real story and have provided the true story for years.
I think we agree on how they really could achieve ebita positive this month...as in...like... can they really? I'm very bullish on all my current plays. It may not be this month, but legalization around the globe appears to be coming and I see all my current stocks playing within it.
"Player is looking at today's volume to cover,.. not when big news happens. "
1) What big news? You've been looking for big news "next quarter" for years.
2) Big volume based on some fictional news means the minor short position becomes even more insignificant than it is now.
All that supposed good news you want to claim, has resulted in a share price below $1, again, and the very real possibility of another reserve split. Not a single one of your "good news" items is quantifiable. But then, you believed Battley despite the numbers that showed he was lying. Anyone who believed that stuff, and continues to believe it, is paying the price.
You've been claiming "good news" all through the 99+% price decline. You've been claiming positive earnings, the end of dilution, multiple government saviors, increased sales, takeovers, etc. Not a single one of the claims has been true. That's a fact
Definitely bullish as acb has a low multiple as all of the cannabis industry right now... I believe lots of good buys at these prices. Acb, hit, ogi, and tilray are all in the same boat. Acb was not in the best shape 2 to 3 years ago, but they have been cleaning things up to the point I'm wondering if they are looking to be acquired. If they did pull of ebita positive and they didn't play big games with the adjusted, that's huge along with their last couple aquasitions that are showing to be successful, and it was brilliant how they were able ro jeep sky and get a tax break. They are in ok shape over in Germany, and they have the business relationship in France. We already have an entity in the USA, reliva... will be interesting if they follow suit what cgc did. When the usa deschedules(I believe it's going to happen as it's proven it has medical purposes), any person short is going to get caught. Player is looking at today's volume to cover,.. not when big news happens. Question is, will it stay high were they are forced to cover
If you say so. You clearly don't have a perspective on what is a significant number
The market will continue to tell the real story. Financial facts will continue to win out over conspiracy theories. Until the financial facts change, the price direction will stay the same
Thank you for making my point.
You should look closer. That's a tiny short interest ratio with less than 3 days of volume to cover. Even large pharma companies have higher short interest
