You have any idea on who is their current stock transfer agent?

I thought it was good as well. This co. needs to make the investment community know about it. It's a great find, and still undiscovered. A good PR firm should be able to get more interested and get the volume up. That's all that is missing. Hopefully, more PRs will be issued as well to keep shareholders informed.
I've been trying magoo, but not too many even know about our little gem apparently.
hey, Where is everybody? Nothing to say? No hype or basher BS to go around? well i think i`ll go to sleep like all the rest of them. magoo
We sure were looking good at the open, but it looks like a little profit taking is setting in. Good to see you here njsp. I can keep the bashers off this thread!
Welcome joshsa. Glad to see you here. Hopefully, we can get a few more over here so we don't have to endure the ridiculous bashing attempts on the RB board. They don't dare come over here!

I had forgot that this was your board. Thanks for having it. I don't understand why AFBR would release a pr about the split on the day that it happens. Still very pleased with the price movement since split. Over $8 pre-split now! Very little selling the last few days.
JOSHSA
we`re moving up! but no PR firm will not get us good visability magoo
AFBR news 3/1/01: Thursday March 1, 12:26 pm Eastern Time
Press Release
Asia Fiber Holdings Limited Announces Forward Stock Split
Company's Shares Split 2.5:1
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 1, 2001--Asia Fiber Holdings Limited (OTCBB:AFBR - news) today announced a 2.5 for 1 forward stock split of its common shares.
As a result of the forward stock split, total issued and outstanding shares of the company have increased to approximately 25,000,000 shares, and the public float has increased to approximately 2,500,000 shares. The company's objectives in effectuating the forward stock split include increasing the number of shares available to the public; enabling the company's share price to move into a more affordable range for individual investors; and creating a wider distribution of the company's stock, thereby meeting the requirements of institutional investors.
The company plans to further strengthen its market position in the People's Republic of China as a leading polyester producer by accelerating its expansion program through an aggressive acquisition campaign. In the short term, the company is aiming to more than double its annual production capacity through acquisitions of other production plants.
For the trailing twelve months as of Sept. 30, 2000, company sales were approximately US $67,600,000, with net income of approximately US $4,300,000.

Thanks Larry. Looking good post split this morning. The spread is finally tightening. These scum sucking MMs really tried hard to get someone to sell. The bid/ask should meet near $3 which is where it traded pre split.
Good luck BBstock and all with AFBR tomorrow!eom
Sorry, magoo. I've been busy the last few days. I guess its hard being the chairperson for a board. This is my first time. One thing i can say, is it is very interesting that trades go off at the bid (7.50), then one goes off at the ask, and the bid is raised. This is one of the strangest trading stocks I've ever owned.
If this repeats other low floating stock splits from the past, then on Thursday, we should gap up at the open when we begin trading post split. That is what should happen IMO.
WOuld sure like to see this company communicate a little more with their shareholders. Seems there have been few PRs issued, and the SEC filings are about our only means of keeping up.
Have a good night.
11 posts since 2/25/01 wow what a bunch of dead heads or you afraid to express your feelings or interests in this board, we are here to help each other thru these times right? or am i out in left field magoo

For a low volume stock, there is a lot of action on this baby of late. Volume was 100K today, which is one of the highest this week. Glad you are in. Looks like a good ride magoo. Have a great weekend.
thanks for the info i just got in at $5 .50 ill sit back and watch the fun
Thanks Arch. I'll take a look at your thread. This is definitely a keeper and quite a find as far as the OTCBB is concerned. Should definitely be on a major exchange soon as far as I am concerned. The revenues are already much higher than most on the OTCBB. Thanks for the post and welcome.
Hi magoo. The split is 2.5:1, and the float is currently 1.2M (very tightly held) and the O/S is currently 9.95M. Therefore, following the split, the float will be 3M an the O/S will be 24.8M (If I did my math correct)
I'm planning on posting more DD on the header of the thread such as the financials and what exactly they do.
Hello bb stock - AFBR, what a great find! If you've seen Archies Corner, you know we feature all makes and models...lol. In fact, we'll have AFBR as a "Beyond Pennies" pick next week, if you want to visit with any dd. Link is below - glad to meet you!

LOL, you seem to appear in most of the running bb stocks too... I see your name all over the place Nice to meet you!
You're very welcome to post on my thread... it's not very active lately, I'm restructuring things there... but it's definitely not a dead board LOL. Yes, there are some decent posters there, and I tend to bash things a lot... so basically pumpers are not there, absolutely not a board for cheerleaders, but for serious traders and people who want to be good traders only.
AFBR, I'm sitting tight until the split date... I might sell before the split though.
signed,
Bernard
Hi Bernard. This is a great one for sure. I bought in at an average of 3.5, and aren't even thinking about selling. Good to see you own this one. I know I've seen you post on Patsy's Five and Under board before. Recognize your id. I have book marked your board as well. Looks like some good posters there. Should see continued short covering IMO tomorrow. Love it when the Mms get caught between a rock and a hard place . LOL
I'm sitting on a 200%+ gain, love the way it trades, like to see how MMs react on this one... and like the fact that the company has relationship with Hong Kong, hehehe
signed,
Bernard
This is a very exciting co. to still be on the OTCBB. With the revenues that they have, and the earnings per share, they should be on a major exchange. On top of that, there appears to be a considerable short position, which is currently causing an explosion in the stock price. The stock split of 2.5: 1 on March 1 is also adding visibility to it. It is quite a good fine.
