No investor is going to make a dime profit with Arete. Maybe the company insiders will make money, but investors wont. And the insiders profits are partially your investment.

Certainly not a scam. Maybe in the past Aret had issues but today they seem poised to grow. The preliminary 3Q numbers look good to me. I'm happy but would like to see a fairer share price. In time it will come.

Year to year YTD revenue has grown about $430K which is about 29% growth. Very good. And profits have gone from a YTD 2013 loss of $16K to a YTD 2014 profit of $352K. Why is that not awesome???? I'm not sure why our stock price remains so low because the numbers support a much higher share price. If we take the $352K profit for just nine months and divide by the number of outstanding shares of 12,400,000 you get an EPS of $0.028. Take $0.028 times a multiple of 20 and you get a reasonable share price of $.57. That is the area we should be trading in IMO.

Arete stock will have volume when it is sub penny, Its not an investors stock, its a horse race type gamble. And never the favorite either. But at least at the sub penny level its going to draw gamblers, never smart investors - at any level. Then when the eyes are on it, maybe they can fake a pr.

Nick has only been the CEO for less than two years and has no relations to the past. He also owns over 1M shares for which he paid $.75 a share. Same for the COO. I'm pretty sure they would both like to get their money back, and more.

Our CEO Nick for sure has taken the right steps to make this company profitable. And he used his cash at first to get it going. The thing that has forever kept this company down has been the lack of financing. I can only hope Nick solves that problem. And then we pray for good wells. We're all ears if you have something to say about Aret. For the most part it's a stable cash flow positive company that requires financing to implement a drill plan. And if a success could cause this stock to take off. When it will happen who knows but I'm hoping soon.

I see it as the shareholders money has already been taken. And "we" the shareholders did not make a profit in the first quarter, let alone the past half decade. But I am sure that you are correct, the company did. Anyhow, lets see what happens...

I see that as a positive. These guys aren't out to take our money. They are trying to build a profitable business. We actually made a profit in the first quarter and I expect an even larger profit in the second. But we will not get the share price up until we drill some good wells. And I expect that to happen this year.

HOW ABOUT INCREASING THE PPS.

This was posted on another Board but I thought worth sharing.

I know we've been waiting a long time but I sense from the statement in the 1Q 10Q that we are getting close. What I love about this stock is this. A 100 barrel a day well adds about $3M annually to our revenue. And that's not a big well. Plus if we drill we can hit several of those. Now lets look at a $5 share price. At a twenties multiple of EPS it would take about a .25 per share annual earnings. With about 12.5M shares outstanding to make .25 EPS we would need to have about $3.1M annual earnings. And we could get to $5 per share with just one quarter of about $800K profit if it is clear we can sustain that. I still believe we could get to $5 by the end of this year.

Now read this again from the 1Q 10Q: While we have made good progress to implement our business strategy over the past year, we believe our primary challenge over the next few months is to obtain additional financing to exploit existing drilling opportunities and to possibly acquire additional properties. We have sold some of our properties while retaining overriding royalty interests for future upside upon further development of the properties. In addition, we are in the process of reviewing several opportunities for the purchase of production and undeveloped oil and gas leases for future development. In order to purchase properties or begin substantive drilling activities we must obtain additional financing,

New here. Found very little comment on Boards on this stock. Seems like management is trying to turn this stock around from reading everything. I did find this that seems not so good for us. I don't have a lot of shares but a few.

Below is a link to the oil prices paid in the Rocky Mt Region which should be close to what Aret gets for a barrel of oil. I've compared the last several months.
