Michael W. Trudnak, Chairman of the Board, CEO
Prior to co-founding Guardian, Mr. Trudnak was President and CEO of Advanced Data Centers, a private web hosting corporation in South Florida . In his 25 years of diversified executive management, Mr. Trudnak has a demonstrated track record in sales and business development, business operations, and technology and administrative management in both the public and private sectors. As Vice President of Mid-Atlantic Sales for Equant, he instituted a direct and indirect sales plan and team responsible for the generation and management of annual sales of $192 million. As Executive Director for Southeast region Sales at Global One his responsibilities included business unit profit and loss management, new business development and direct management of the Southeast Regional sales team generating over $110 million in annual revenue. Mr. Trudnak also previously worked for Sprint International in successively challenging positions where he spearheaded initiatives for the planning, development and implementation of the global expansion of Sprint's U.S. public data network. Mr. Trudnak's experience includes corporate high-tech start-ups, as well as successful implementation of innovative cost reduction and productivity improvement programs. Mr. Trudnak holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from George Mason University
Robert Dishaw , President, Chief Operating Officer
Before co-founding Guardian Mr. Dishaw was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Diagnos Inc., a Canadian public corporation, and was chartered with transitioning the R&D focused organization to a commercial, for profit marketing and sales driven company. Drawing upon extensive technology management and operational experience gained in his sixteen-year military and international diplomatic careers. Mr. Dishaw began leveraging his innovative business development skills as Vice President of Sales for Terminals Unlimited, Inc. Under his leadership, the company's revenue grew from $3 million in 1980 to $28 million in 1983 and was named Inc. magazine's “number one, small private corporation in America ”. As a private emerging-technology consultant, Mr. Dishaw has provided management consulting to numerous corporations and individuals, and has been instrumental in the launching and success of several start-up technology companies. In 1990, Mr. Dishaw founded PinPoint Systems International, which developed and marketed the PinPoint Nautical Navigation application (now Tactronics, a division of Pinpoint Integrated Systems).
Bill Donovan, Chief Financial & Administrative Officer
In a financial career spanning more than 20 years, Mr. Donovan has held senior financial positions in both public and private companies. From 1999 through 2002, Mr. Donovan was CFO of Streampipe.com, Inc., a privately held streaming communications media company, with principal offices in Alexandria , Virginia , which was sold to TENTV, Inc., in 2002. From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Donovan served as Chief Operating and Financial Officer for TDI, Inc., a privately held international wireless telecommunications services company, with principal offices in Atlanta , Georgia . During his tenure at TDI, Mr. Donavan oversaw annual revenue growth from in 3 years from $2.5M to $35M in 1999 and helped lead the negotiations for the $150 million merger of TDI with Enron Telecommunication Ventures, LLC. In the ten years prior to this position, Mr. Donovan was CFO, Treasurer and a Director at Riparius Corporation, in Timonium , MD. A holding company with operating subsidiaries in the real estate development, property management and general and government contracting field, Riparius had annual revenues of $200M and 500 employees. From 1980 to 1986, Mr. Donovan was the Controller for McCormick Properties, Inc., of Hunt Valley , Maryland , a publicly held commercial real estate subsidiary of McCormick & Company. From 1973 to 1980, Mr. Donovan was the Controller for AMF Head Sports Wear, Inc., an international sporting goods manufacturer and a subsidiary of AMF, Inc. Mr. Donovan is currently a Board Advisor for Nogika Corporation, a privately held software company. Mr. Donovan received a B.A. in History and Certificate in Accounting, from the University of Maryland , an MBA from the Sellinger School of Business, Loyola College , Baltimore , MD. and is a CPA and a Certified Business Valuation & Transfer Agent.
Darrell Hill , Vice President Client Solutions
During his 23 years in the data and telecommunications industry, Mr. Hill has acquired an impressive breadth and depth of business expertise as a management executive, successfully directing large-scale program management initiatives, sales support organizations, and quality control efforts. Heading up Guardian's Healthcare Systems Division, Mr. Hill is responsible for merging Guardian PinPoint digital image analysis and management capabilities with its RIS/PACS solution, FlowPoint. His role encompasses aligning corporate resources to enhance the technology and launching the integrated solution in the U.S. and worldwide. A results-driven professional, Mr. Hill has received multiple leadership awards and garnered recognition for effectively managing international billing and order fulfillment operations, as well as managing IT project teams on corporate-wide, business-critical projects that were very time-sensitive. As the Director of Program Management at Global One from 1998 to 2000, Mr. Hill directed a 42-member international team of professionals in a highly successful $65 million, two-year implementation project that integrated 265 bank offices in Brazil into a single international network. In addition, he spearheaded international network alliance programs in Canada , Israel , Russia , Taiwan , Singapore , Mexico , Russia , and numerous other countries, working in close collaboration with the executive management teams in foreign organizations and governments. Mr. Hill earned his Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Sciences from Lake Superior State University .
Steven Lancaster, Vice President Corporate Development
As VP Corporate Development, Mr. Lancaster's role at GDTI is to direct research to identify viable market opportunities, evaluate competitors and target new high-gain customer opportunities. His 22 years of business development and sales management experience in direct, indirect and solutions selling, well positions Mr. Lancaster to successfully create “compelling business solutions” and relationships with key customers leading to long term profitable relationships. He most recently held the position of Vice President Global Sales, for Global One, where he implemented innovative Global Account Management processes, procedures and strategies to successfully direct a sales organization that delivered over $150M in revenue the first year. A top performing sales executive with GTE, British Telecom, and Sprint International he has developed direct sales programs focused on selling and supporting innovative technology to Global 1000 customers including Microsoft, GlaxoSmithKline, Caterpillar, General Electric, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq and others. In addition, he has created key strategic alliances with both customers and vendors and has developed and trained national and global sales teams.
Richard Borrelli, VP Business Development Healthcare Systems
Mr. Borrelli will be responsible for building Guardian's radiology informatics business and managing strategic alliances and partnerships in the U.S. and Europe . He will direct on-going system development, as well as sales and implementation and develop and execute the marketing strategy for Guardian's recently acquired Wise Systems Ltd. integrated RIS/PACS product line in the U.S. and Europe . Mr. Borrelli comes to Guardian with 26 years of worldwide business development, marketing and sales experience in healthcare radiology informatics and image management. Prior to joining Guardian Technologies, he was director of Implementation and Professional Services for IDX Corporation's radiology information business, where he helped the company restructure, accelerate revenue growth and reduce customer installation costs. Prior to that he held director-level positions in Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Analogic Corporation, a medical imaging firm. Other positions include VP of Global Marketing for Polaroid Corporation's Medical Imaging Systems Division and various other executive positions in Marketing, Product Management and business development for AGFA Corporation's Medical Division, Matrix Instruments Corporation, Telectronics' Cardiac Medical Division, GE Medical Systems and Johnson & Johnson's Technicare Corporation. Richard received a BA in Bio-Physics from Wittenberg University and an MBA from Cleveland State University .
