What is considered a large share holder? I've wondered this for a while now. I remember back in the day a few of the people who were posting here had upwards of 500K shares... just curious.
Thanks!
...amazing, there's still a few large shareholders around.. they've been laying low ..?? one of 'em was consulting with.. ?
I wouldn't trust these people with spare change. How they hold rehab licensees is beyond me. GL, T

So now tonight I see A Facebook page listed so Beth is the one who is listed there so here is that message from 9/29/2010 as follows. (its not a lot of money I am losing < although not having a job for the first time @ 49 in my life does suck> its more the principle of the matter to me lose or gain just be honest) T Beth I have attempted to contact Jerrod who as the thin information available is supposed to be running your company since the BOD dismissed Mr . Howarth. He has not responded. WHO is in charge of this company and WHO is accountable??? A rehab CO. that hides from the truth?? Please respond. * ****es
no names being called here, I'm just saying if this don't go well I'm not going to lay down and die w/out making noise.. there's new people getting involved w/Jerrod M.,do they know the way he operates ? .. hey today we have the media.. and the little guy does have some say, here we have people preaching princibles, honesty, recovery.. etc.. and a few who went through their program and later supported them.. and now this is how they carry themselves.. interesting story if ya ask me.. all they have to do is the thing you're hoping for.. The right thing"
I know I was around. I've invested more and lost more than most on this board COMBINED. We can get into the specifics if you like. Not sure if that's allowed... I'm just looking at it as it is. Iv'e lost $8xxx thus far so not much more to go at this point. THis was my first and last penny stock venture so call me naive/stupid/newbie whatever it doesn't really matter at this point. All I can hope for is up and I guess those are the glasses I'm wearing when I read about the good things that are going on.
Good luck to everybody invested....
I was around. still holding shares not worth anything. RS will make them more so. Years/months of silence after stock was what around .11? Then first I hear is Merger and 100/1 Rs . CROOKS. T
u were around.. !
All thieves, everyone, run it to next to zero then huge rs, repeat.Caviot Emptor, T
???? they presented a company to us and then flipped it overnight.. you'd have to back and read if you were not here.. I've risked and lost.. ok, ..this is a different story.. maybe they'll do the right thing.. if not .. action - reaction there are several who have documented (....) so we'll see.
Joshua, is it time for this yet? Could we be poised for some good news and upticks in the near future? The company definitely doesn't seem to be flailing although they haven't treated the share holders like they should have been....

Founded in 2012 by addiction pioneers Michael Cartwright and Jerrod Menz Pioneers .. that's insane.. Pioneers they need to start dealing from the top of the deck ... this R/S is stealing plain and simple..

Came out yesterday (9/7/12)
Keep seeing things like this which make me want to hang on. Anybody got a take on the recent mergers? There have been two that I can remember in the past year...

Death Star, Crooks all. T
I've been through several and it didn't work out well.. there are cases where they r/s and report 'n move up to nasdaq.. that hasn't happen in my case.. I say scumbags because they are making money not reporting and I believe that the shares they hold are not effected by the r/s their amount stays the same..
I tried to sell yesterday on the bid and no sale..? so now I'll get hit w/reorg. fees end up w/1 out of 100 and if it drops far I might pick up more post split.. these people preach honesty to the addicts but don't really practice it.. the people who ran this when "I got everyone I know" into this used to let us know what was going on.. and it's a gamble again.. they might issue a ton of shares and r/s down the road again.. who knows they don't tell us anything.. but if they start dealing from the top of the deck I'm sure the stock would soar. IMO
Hey Guys,
Im still pretty deep into this one. I've got time and as far as I have been able to tell, the company has been doing fine. They are expanding and updating the website periodically... How do you, or how should I rather, view the RS?
I did some reading on RS and people seem to view it as either a good thing or a bad thing. Historically, cases can be made for each....
Thanks for any thoughts and thanks to the original poster for the update.
Take care
I might just have to buy a few to carry through the RS, so that it stays on my radar.
Ah interesting. Thanks for letting me know.
I wonder if they are getting ready to start releasing fins again.
Note:
I am not currently holding any of this.

Where can I find the filings? Thanks for the info!
Interesting. I'll take that for a start.
Yeah at some point they have to do us right..... well maybe they don't... but they should.
..yeah, I still have those shares.. this is CPR ;) ..never know ? I do know they're making money and expanding.. will they let us in on it ?
..there was an email awhile back where an accountant seemed to take a negative view on people who buy into public companies.. I thought that was strange because a lot of the people who supported this were friends and family related to or in the recovery movement.. and to lay down the example they did is pretty sad...
Obviously the company is growing however they made their intentions very clear a couple of years ago that they are extreme anti-shareholder and forced a bunch of people to sell at a big loss.
This could change in the future, time will tell.
This POS owes me big...

Amazing that these SOB's would be willing to lose all that market cap (MILLIONS OF $'s) and the potential to go to a larger index! What were (are) they thinking?!
Yes, made some nice ching on DHT. This piece of shit still owes me so I watch and wait for the opportunity to get it back.
All the best to you mate.

i think i saw you over on the DHT board....
I'm heavy into DHT. GLTU!
I doubt it. Let me know if you hear anything.
Anyone know what's up here?
Have any of their officers lost weight and grew a conscience? Not holding my breath....
Yeah somebody has a ton of shares. L2 is a big mess.
if his company was making money hand over fist--you would think they wouldnt have a stop sign on it-
** this company DOES make money hand over fist**
does anyone know if the share structure will be updated with anytime soon?
i know for a fact forterus and its assets are making money.
They would have to post outstanding fins to move this stock in a sustainable way... there are a lot of us who are itching to get out of this thing otherwise on any bump in PPS. Here is hoping that management does not have to do their OWN addiction recovery for GREED! Fat bastards....

Forterus is dedicated to serving the middle class with its "A Better Tomorrow" facility in Murrieta, California, and it caters to higher end clients with Dana Point Recovery, a clinic in Dana Point in coastal Orange County, one of the most beautiful areas in the world. The clinics provide a 28-day to 90- day treatment program. There is also a separate treatment program for adolescents, and Spanish-language treatment services. ABTTC, INC. has achieved annual growth rates topping 34 percent every year since its founding and is dedicated to growing by acquiring more treatment facilities in Southern California. Its focus on long term recovery by using relapse prevention and family friendly components surpasses all industry standards in the addiction field. It also offers an intensive outpatient program.
Here on A Better Tomorrow, you get the very best of the drug rehabilitation centers in the world, helping people nationwide fight alcohol and drug addiction. Our treatment centers are accredited by the CARF, we are able to work with insurance companies nationwide, and all of our staff hold high credentials including many with master level degrees. You need experience to help with addiction, whether you are afflicted or a loved one is. We can help.
We focus on long term recovery by using relapse prevention and family friendly components which surpass industry standard in the addiction field. When taken together, using the right rehab clinic and drug rehabilitation center costs less than you think. After all, so many addicts lose jobs and careers, families and friends, and many other things you simply cannot put a price on. In terms of jobs and careers, it's tough for anyone suffering drug or alcohol addiction to maintain a job; they lose them more often than not. Thousands if not tens of thousands is spent on drugs and alcohol, or on decisions made while using. In turn, families and friends lose trust in the addict, or decide to give up on them. Addiction is a powerful thing to suffer with alone, but often is incredibly hard on friends and loved ones too. The answer is the right drug rehabilitation center, and the right alcohol rehab service.
Our intensive outpatient program is truly priceless, and combined with our sober living facilities it solves the problem of addiction for many. How? It offers a stable, loving, and caring environment overseen by professionals who have more experience than most family and loved ones. We know how to handle addicts because of our years experience. Our main goal for clients is to set their own goals for long term recovery. Simply getting a job back or making apologies isn't enough. Often there are other problems involved in using drugs and alcohol at the outset, like anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, and many other psychological problems.
Founded in 1966, as the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities, CARF is a private, not-for-profit organization that promotes quality rehabilitation services. It does this by establishing standards of quality for organizations to use as guidelines in developing and offering their programs or services to consumers. CARF uses the standards to determine how well an organization is serving its consumers and how it can improve. Every year the standards are reviewed and new ones are developed to keep pace with changing conditions and current consumer needs. At A Better Tomorrow our accreditation is means of demonstrating our commitment to quality for clients and their family members. We strive to stay above the standards by providing consistent care in accordance with the newest, evidence-based information. The more innovative our treatment is, the better we can adjust to the fast-paced field of Addiction Recovery. Out of the thousands of programs, only 5% have achieved this status of being accredited.
Josie Gann, CADCA | Josie is consistent in upholding the social-model aspect of our program, by being a role model to those who come in sick and tired. A very close connection to her own recovery makes Josie a staple in the community, through service, support, and activities. With over 10 years of experience, she incorporates the best practices for continual success through the individualization of treatment plans. As the Program's Director, her input was instrumental in A Better Tomorrow's Accreditation process. Her lengthy efforts were well worth the accomplishment of being State Certified and CARF Accredited. |
Jim Fent, MFT | Jim Fent has worked in the medical field for the past 20 years. With a special interest in chronic pain and disability, he has a familiarity with dealing with those who have abused pain medication while going through pain management. A licensed physical therapist and a Director of Physical Therapy, Jim is invaluable when making decisions on what course of action to take regarding clients in denial and using pain as an excuse. |
Jerrod Menz, B.S., CCGC, CADCA | Jerrod has over 10 years of experience working in the field of Addiction and Co-Occurring Disorders. As one of the co-founders of A Better Tomorrow, he is always traveling to various conferences and conventions across the United States. A drug rehab treatment center should offer a variety of treatment programs that meet individual needs. These drug rehab programs may include inpatient, residential, outpatient, and/or short-stay options.
