Wow!!!
Absolutely no news and lots of 100 blocks of sells. Looks like pure manipulation to me
Unbelievable and crocked stock market
This trading is really suspicious and feels like something else is going on.
I do not think they are trying to get in cheaper since they are currently in winding down mode
Maybe they dumped shares to get in at a way cheaper price. One thing I been seeing is a lot of rumors about stock pumpers calling this stock out.
Maybe they dumped shares to get in at a way cheaper price.
Farcry, back in 08 & 09, Vicis was real active until they lost lots of monies and investors were trying to redemed their investment but then the redemption was put on hold. Since then, it appears Vicis have been selling Ambient and many other small cap stocks but still maintain a substantial holdings in indirect funds. Based on the 2013 SEC filings, it did look like Vicis still had approximately 10 million shares of Ambient. Vicis appears to be in hot waters recently and I speculate they could be in need of cash IMPO
I think back in 2008 or 2009 they did. That could explain why the stock began to fall around those years when it was at $25.
Didn't Vicis at one point owned 70% of all outstanding shares of Ambient?
Price spiraling downward is reminiscent of Vicis Capital in play JMHO
Hopefully we get some good news and move up. I'm starting to think this company is non-existent.
Big volume today, hopefully it continues. GLTA
Me 2. I originally said the company would take off within 10 years.
Well...THEY HAVE 4 YEARS LEFT!!! YOU HEAR THAT AMBT?!?
I agree. Hoping to see a fun ride north .
Yah...i really expected big things for this company. Its now been 6 years since I bought and its down 75%.
And I know its down because horrible PR.
I agree, I'm about to email the company.
Man this thing moves pretty quick, we could see a bounce.
Stopped out, now looking at 2.40 area, the daily 200ma, see if i get filled
2.61 order filled and here we are!
$AMBT Next Leg i'm looking for is a higher high then last putting her at the 100ma resistance on the weekly chart which should now serve as new support imo. Then looking at the 200ma as my next target.
ALERT! ORDER IN 2.61, Trucks Getting Backed Up!
That annotation chart should be a close guide as to what im looking for. Yes sir, patience pays off
Been on this one since 2008. Trust me, I understand patience. Lol.
I wouldnt expect your 3 bagger any time soon...Im expecting returns in about 3 more years.
Potential 3 Bagger or More. Looking for a continuation from 2.65 area imo. Been on this one since early dec last year. Volume is low right now and one has to b patient but like the chart.

Duke Energy and six companies have joined together to build a distributed-intelligence application to eliminate silos and improve grid performance while allowing grid assets to be inter-operable. The “Coalition of the Willing” (COW) group – Accenture, Alstom Grid, Ambient Corporation, Duke Energy, Echelon, S&C, and Verizon - will prove that disparate assets, data, and control commands can be shared across multiple platforms to achieve interoperability with lower costs and faster response times. The first phase of this project will be to convert a Volt/Var Optimization (VVO) function to run on a distributed platform. This is accomplished by utilizing a “communications node” and a standards-based messaging architecture to enable peer-to-peer communications and to federate data from previously siloed systems. The COW participants are exposing some data locally via a standards-based interface. The VVO phase of this project will be tested in Duke Energy’s McAlpine Smart Grid test area in Charlotte. The distributed VVO application will reside on field communication nodes, run on a variety of field message buses, and be tested on both the 3G and 4G LTE Verizon Wireless networks. The application will average two residential meter voltages being supplied by Echelon meters and bring them back via Power Line Carrier (PLC) to the Ambient communication node. The application will determine if an under voltage condition exists, if one does, the application will send a close command to the control via DNP3 through peer to peer messaging over the Verizon Wireless network. The capacitor control will receive the close command and close the capacitor bank to try and alleviate the under voltage condition on the meters. The final step in this process will be to update the Alstom DMS as to the new state of the capacitor. If an under voltage still exists, the application will send a flag to the DMS so it can perform further corrective action. http://s36.a2zinc.net/clients/pennwell/dtech2014/Public/SessionDetails.aspx?SessionID=7055
Wake me up when it is getting ready to quadruple :)
Keep your eye on the bid. This may not have huge volume but strong bid support will keep it moving... If the bid is strong it's a buy!
Here we Gooooooooooooooo!
AMBT on it's way to doubling... Company is about to get very serious
Yeah purchasing under $2 as it bottomed out and a chance to flip if you have no faith of gains over $2.50. but a real BuyLo opportunity for the Long Term investor since it will be some time till it sees that Lo level agains!
Did you ever get in and take advantage of the BuyLo set up?
Yes, Im willing to wait 10 years to make...though its closer to 6 now.
So your willing to wait 10 years to make ? It can be great, but like you say, if PR suks, so does the company. I looked at the tech and thought WOW... But wow makes no money... Funny how that works... Maybe in time they will wise up. Better yet, email all of them and demand change, throw PR under the bus...
The company isn't failing. Simply pit, AMBT has a horrible PR department. They are doing great work, advancing in all markets and making money...but they aren't good at "selling themselves" to investors.
When I bought this 4 years ago, I said it would take 10 years to make a profit for me...I am still standing by that statement.
You seem awful high on this play that keeps going backwards. What is it about the company you like so much. It seems this one and others like it are falling...
Not bad...back to 50 RSI and still over 3 bux
Now 61...getting there, if we stay above 3 dollars at 50 RSI, that works.
RSI still 65...not fantastic as far as Im concerned.
Im just hoping we dont see too much recoil when it normalizes. If it can stay over 3.50 until the RSI is 50, im happy.
I am not going to get my hopes up quite yet though...not with AMBTs currently VERY ugly chart.
Still moving up. AMBT will make many wish they had bought more shares.
One thing that has always been true about AMBT is that they have a horrible PR department.
They really screwed up that announcement (date)
A fully functioning consumer demonstration of broadband, utilizing Ambient's PLC technology is expected to be held in the Spring of 2002. Ambient's end-to-end solution is expected to enable the transport of data over medium-voltage and low-voltage power lines, beginning with the backhaul link to the end-users pc. Following the demonstration phase, larger field trials will take place that will test the technology in Con Edison customer's homes and residences
John Joyce, CEO of Ambient Corporation stated, "Con Edison and Ambient have always shared a special relationship. Con Edison was the first member to join the Ambient Board of Advisors in 2000. In the intervening years, Con Edison has invited and encouraged Ambient to test and perfect its technology at Con Edison facilities in Buchanan, NY and Astoria, Queens. In short, they have been supportive friends and advisors."
"The announcement of this development contract, coupled with last month's announcement of a development relationship with Southern Telecom, Inc., marks an exciting new phase both in Ambient's history as well as for the Power Line Communications industry. Under this agreement, we will endeavor to deploy our proprietary technology over Con Edison's actual power lines."
"Today's agreement reinforces Con Edison's long-standing commitment to keeping pace with the most advanced technology around the world," said Hyman Schoenblum, Con Edison's vice president for corporate planning. "Working in partnership with corporations like Ambient speeds the process of using state-of-the art technology to enhance the lives of our customers through improved services."

80 RSI..,please be kind!
Ill be more excited when the technicals look better.
AMBT will be one of the all time great plays...I've been buying shares from 5.00 all the way to the last bottom. Buying shares here would still be a good investment. Watch the price continue to rise. JMO!!
Thats cool...good to see AMBT in the news!
I need AMBT to be worth 13 a share to break even...so, not overly excited yet, but happy to see SOMETHING.

Ambient designs, develops and markets Ambient Smart Grid™ communications technologies and equipment. Utilizing proprietary, open standards-based technologies along with in-depth industry experience, Ambient provides utilities with solutions for creating smart grid communication platforms and technologies. Headquartered in Newton, MA, Ambient is a publicly traded company(NASDAQ: AMBT)
A simplified network view is shown below (sans communications backhaul):
The Ambient Smart Grid™ communications solution is a modular network overlaid on the medium-voltage and low-voltage segments of the power distribution system allowing real-time insight into the operations of the electrical distribution grid while supporting any IP-based application. High-speed backhaul connections (which go to the Internet or to private networks) connect the Ambient Smart Grid™ network at any point along the medium voltage circuit allowing for IP data traffic to be carried, via a choice of multiple technologies including BPL, Wi-Fi, cellular, and/or low bit rate power line carrier (PLC).
To date, no single solution or technology exists which provides the necessary flexibility in a cost-effective solution enabling a comprehensive digital communications network, incorporating standards-based technologies. Ambient's Smart Grid™ communications platform was developed specifically to fill this void and meet the utility's needs by integrating various technologies within the Ambient platform.
Making up the Ambient platform are nodes configured to act as individual data processors and collectors that receive and transmit the Ambient Smart Grid™ communications signal from other networked devices including other nodes, couplers or end-user devices. Ambient's node can directly interface with any device with a serial or Ethernet port, and can deliver high-speed communications data using existing and developing technologies including BPL, Wi-Fi, Cellular, low bit rate PLC or any combination of these communications protocols. Our node is a modular device that can be configured for different roles within the network. Nodes can repeat (regenerate) the signal, and accept backhaul connections (fiber, Ethernet, etc) or various end-user connections. Within the Ambient network, each node is individually addressed and can be remotely accessed to detect system status (such as power and low battery conditions) and perform management functions. Ambient's nodes are built for use in the exposed electrical distribution grid and meet the necessary certifications.
Couplers are another key component of Ambient's network for select applications. Couplers transfer the communications signal to and from medium voltage and low voltage power lines in a BPL or PLC network, and also serve to read, in real-time, the current of the electrical distribution grid. Since a single coupler cannot span this entire range of options, we have developed inductive couplers for medium voltage overhead and underground lines and inductive and capacitive couplers for low voltage applications.
To manage the large numbers of nodes, devices, and customers on a smart grid network, Ambient has developed a network management system, trademarked as AmbientNMS™. AmbientNMS™ has a simple to use, browser-based interface and supports auto-discovery of network resources, VLANs, provisioning, multiple networks, event logging, data collection, alerts, reporting, and multiple levels of users and security. The AmbientNMS™ will continue to be enhanced with additional features and functionality.
Concerns with data security and data integrity are considered and addressed at all levels of the system. Safety and compliance with regulatory requirements are top priorities throughout the design, development, manufacture and deployment of all of our equipment. Our nodes are tested, and certified as complying to applicable United States and Canadian safety standards for information technology equipment. Our overhead couplers are tested to ANSI Standards for electrical power insulators and are designed for safe non-contact installation with either hot sticks or rubber gloves.
