Obuasi is a gold mining community[3] and town which is the capital of the Obuasi Municipal District in
the Ashanti Region of Ghana.[4] It lies in the southern part of the Obuasi Municipal, 39 miles (63 kilometres)
south-west of Ashanti capital city Kumasi.[4] Obuasi has a population of 175,043 people.[2]
Obuasi mining community has a mixture of the Ashanti people culture and the semi-island exclave Ashantiland.[4]

Obuasi is home to the Obuasi Gold Mine, one of the largest known gold deposits on Earth.[1][4]
The Gold Coast region was named after the large amount of gold mined historically at Obuasi and

You can see we’ve had a pretty ugly week. But really when you look at the week in
the totality of the entire trend, it’s just consolidation. It’s brutal. It’s violent and it’s scary
why you’re going through. But when you look at these longer term charts, you can see
clearly the buyers are still in control.

We may be working off some of the excess froth and that’s not necessarily a bad thing either.
The $2,400 level above is a significant barrier to overcome and you can see we’ve done it a
couple of times momentarily but not have the strength to leave it in the rear view mirror for good.
Eventually we will and we will more likely than not go looking to the $2,500 level at that point.

A majority of US House of Representatives members voted in favor of legislation to establish regulatory clarity over digital assets, CoinTelegraph reports.

In a 279 to 136 vote on May 22, House lawmakers approved H.R.4763, or the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century (FIT21) Act. If passed by the Senate and signed into law, the bill clarifies the roles the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) have over digital assets. 71 Democrats joined with 208 Republicans to vote in favor of the bill.

“Unfortunately, our current regulatory framework is preventing digital assets’ innovation from reaching its full potential,” said Representative Patrick McHenry before the House vote. “The SEC and the CFTC are currently in a food fight for control of these asset classes.”

This brings the yearly rate of producer price increases on to 2.1%, the fastest pace since last September:

tdate, the flotation plant has produced over 16,000 tonnes of concentrates at a grade of 37 grams per tonne gold.

( 16,000 tons times 1.2 ounces per ton = 19,000 ounces valued at $45 m in CAD


Shipments have been made to three separate buyers, and negotiations continue with several potential new customers.


To date, over 12,500 tonnes of concentrate have been delivered to Johor and Port Klang free zones.

( 12500 tons times 1.2 ounces per ton = 15,000 ounces worth $37 million in CAD


Export permits have been renewed with the relevant state authorities as required

. Transport of the latest delivery of 3,500 wet metric tonnes to Port Klang free zone has been completed with vessel to depart in mid-January, 2024.

( 3500 tons times 1.2 ounces per ton = 4200 ounces worth $11 m cad


Sale of a further 3,000 tonnes of concentrate currently available has been finalized, and shipment preparation of the concentrate to the port is in progre
