they havent ok'd or told us how they plan on achieving the 80 mil buyback
Maybe because it's not obvious it is happening yet? Looks like January 16th was our only good day in a while, moving over the top Bollinger Band that day, followed by an .028 intraday high the next session, but a red candle session day as the rally lost steam, fizzled, and here we sit as low as a dog on a rug.
can someone explain to me how an 80 million share buyback causes the pps to bottom?
hopefully the slipping is done we are riding close to the 52 wk low. avxn has a way jumping huge off of nothing. i think we need some of that next week.
I hope they meet soon to discuss the slipping PPS!
avxn is not isolated to an office. yes they must have a street address; however the operation as a whole is spread outover the nation. the company meets to discuss things often.
I agree with you patience. Any information someone can dig up will help but the most important thing we need is proof through contracts and revenues. The longer they are out of the market the more time that our competitors have to better their own technology. I'm sure the company knows this and it seems they are grabbing some decent talent to give them some help. I am consigned to wait for a while longer to see what this talent will bring us.
If you can swing over there and see what is up that would be great! Personally I have spoken to George Stevens twice now and the last time I was given less info then before. He said that revenue should really start at the end of March. I am not sure how close they are to getting a major contract for the IPTV which he said is there main focus still? Obviously this could be huge if they are picked up by a major company. At this point with the PPS going down daily now to sub penny I am starting to doubts this if they are so close? Any additional DD on this one would be great. Thanks for your time.
all pinks are doing the same, not sure what is going on with Yahoo.

Nope, they said they would nail down the offer they were putting together with their investors by the end of jan but would give us the details in 30 days which puts them to the middle of February.
could be it is at least trying to give the impression we are at a bottom
It appiers that the seller is out. If that's the case we move a hto the higher grounds from here.
agreed ac...its a waiting game!!!!!!
i cant post u back lol, free account, but i agree with what u said...last pr was a bit defensive, which makes me think....but all we can do at this point is wait i guess..
I posted you Privately!!!!!!
so why the high volumes in the last couple of weeks...
the way i read the Pr, " Details of the transaction will be announced within the next 30 days, once the documents are prepared and executed." is that they will let us know when they buy back is complete....
buy back hasnt even started.....they said they would let us know in a pr how they would go about doing an 80 mil buyback....by end of jan....still waiting
Shall I dare say volumes back to normal. Last time I said that 1.5 million shares traded. We are at 178K at 12pm. Not basing my info on any charts, but possibly buy back is coming to an end. Just a thought...
if and when they do the buyback, it would probably come here at this price or even lower
just thinking out loud,
boomer
hmmmmmmmm........no mention of the buy back....not good he should have at least made a mention of it in some form or another since they were suppose to have it figured out by jan 31st
I have held one year as of this month...lol
By June I will have held this one for over a year so I think that is a fair amount of patience to wait for a contract from me as well.
just my thoughts on the latest pr
call me crazy...but i liked it...up front
now lets see if they are true to their word.
Will they buy back these shares?
best of luck,
boomer
Rags or Ac, whats the agora address
thanks
boomer
I am actually on both boards, and I believe AVXN puts that board in their PRs. So you are correct in saying they have managements ears. Middle of the month or end of the month it really makes no difference. As long as they are not printing shares, and they have some sort of contract lined up. Just one contract can give some investor confidence. I mean all along they have stayed calm and collect about releasing information. This is kinda their first PR to defend their position. I am not sure how to take it; that we need to be patient, or they are not deliverying. Call me naive, but I will take option 1 - patience. They said in first two quarters they should announce a contract. I can wait till end of June, but if there is nothing out by then, then I will have serious concerns.
Buy back first, contract second.
I think the Agora board had some folks wondering. The moderator there seems to have management's ear but I am not sure. They gave themselves until the middle of the month to get back to us with info on the buyback. Personally, I'll take any info before the end of the month as adequate. However, timeliness with that information will gain them some points IMO.
Hmmm, so we are not the only people wondering whats going on?
I would still like to see some revenues and contracts information soon to give the confidence that we are headed the right way. I am not sure why he didnt touch on that in the PR and update us a little bit about the buy back. I think thats where some including myself have grown to be impatient.
Well lets see how this PR affects the PPS today.
Advanced Technetix Releases Statement from Chairman & CEO
Wednesday February 7, 9:30 am ET
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advanced Technetix, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AVXN - News) today released a statement from the company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, George Stevens. The statement reads as follows:
Dear Advanced Technetix Shareholder,
Amid ongoing speculation and continued inquiries about the company's direction and progress, I wanted to take a moment to update you, the shareholder, about where we are in relation to where we started and where the company is headed.
When I took on the role of CEO in August of this past year, the Company, then known by its former name, eWan1, Inc., was fighting for its life. The company's singular proprietary intellectual property (IP) was not operational and had not even been completed. To make matters worse, a feasible plan did not exist to complete the technology that had been repeatedly heralded by the company's former management as being "ready."
My very first day on the job consisted of sitting with all of the company's engineers and employees and putting them to task. I mandated in no uncertain terms that they convince me of the value of this technology and the ability to complete the technology in short order, or alternatively, they could collectively pack their belongings and tender their immediate letters of resignation.
Eight hours later, I was sufficiently convinced that technology was not only viable, but could be completed and ready to bring to market in a matter of months. Since that day, a scant five months ago, we have completed the engineering and technology, built and thoroughly tested what I believe is a "game-changing" mobile IPtv solution and identified new markets in which to sell derivative or "spin-off" security products, such as the AccessKey(TM) and the AccessKey Vault(TM). We have also successfully generated revenue from the sale of key consumer electronics "platform" accessories through the domestic retail channel.
In the same time, we have hired two of the most well-respected marketing, lead generation and sales organizations in the U.S. to carry our flagship product(s) and message to cable companies, equipment makers, content developers and aggregators and our federal Government, as we have now officially made the transition from a company in the development stage of operations to one in the beginning of the sales and marketing stage.
My relatively short journey as the company's CEO has been anything but easy. As an organization we have faced many challenges and situations beyond our control that would have scuttled most companies. We have, however, against mounting odds, prevailed and I believe we are, as a company, stronger for the experience.
As we move into the marketing and sales stage of operations, I ask for your continued support. Irrespective of promises that were made by past management, Advanced Technetix is moving forward with aggressive resolve to create shareholder value through the sales of our IPtv and Security product(s). I look forward to delivering positive developments with respect to our sales and marketing initiatives in the coming months and thank you for your time and vote of confidence.

if it closes around .014 or better on same volume tommorrow....then it may be a bottom as they cleaned out sellers but need a follow thru day tomorrow imo
There is no tree to shake. All left is a rotten bush. LOL
Let's get this thing into the real penny world.
Hmm, something is going on. I am not sure what it is. If they are printing shares though, why would they reduce their float by 42%. That would be kinda contradictory I would imagine. I am not sure whats happening, but this is the lowest price I have seen it in a long long time. Kinda getting concerned. I mean, its good for the buy back, but I am still waiting to hear an update on the contracts. Are they in talks? Is it speculative? Is the deal almost complete. I wish we can get an update after the share buy back is over.
*Something* must be going on for the stock to continue to drop day-by-day, week-by-week. Some sort of share-financing I imagine...
AVXN is printing shares to fund its manufacturing and some Capital Corp. is selling them just as soon as they are printed.
No one trusts this company after the run-up last year on the hype of the IPTV network launch, only for the business plan to change drastically within weeks. The new business plan, though sounding solid, has yet to show any solid results.
Hanging in here, but, I sure hope something of substance is PR'd in the near future.
