Things that make you go "...HMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...."!?!
I received a query today from another stockholder: "...Do you know the new symbol for AVHC? I had no idea they were planning a name/symbol change. Notice of the change showed up in my etrade alerts this PM..."
My response: "...Sorry.
I checked my news alert service, my brokerage, and FreeRealTime.com which still shows the quote as AVHC with the correct B/A.
Randy Sulhoff is a medical marketing guy, more than a manufacturing person. I suspect that they will be expanding towards multiple lines of health products and medications, etc.
It wouldn't be surprising to see a name change etc. to get away from the one-trick-pony (THOEC Chamber) appearance they have had to date.
I've been looking for the acquisition of a plastics company to manufacture the THEOC, which needed a face lift (..as per the last PR..). The old model THOEC looked a little 1980's-boxy in this Star Trek cyber-everything age..."
Thanks for the heads-up...!!!
Maybe were in for some nice surprises....!!!

If you are currently looking to find AVHC at the MEDICA exposition, you have to search for it under "..e-medical-europe.."'s name; which is Freddie Schwab's operation (..see 27AUG03 PR..):

If you want any information at all, at this point in time, you'll have to speak with Joe Petinelli - the IR/PR guy.
The company staff is on a self-imposed gag-order until they have something important to say. I sure like that policy, over the pumped-up fluffy tripe that most other BB'rs spew out.
8-K and other info should be out later this month. IMHO. With the low float here, I'm still collecting.
John
I did call, on Monday, left my name and number and still no answer...
I also sent an e-mail...on Tuesday after waiting for a call back and only getting their answering machine for a second time...

Dear Sir/Madam:
A while ago, I was sent (in mass) information about your company and how it was going to take the market by storm.
Ever since than (or more to the point, right after I bought into it), your company has been silent about its future and shareholder's PP has dropped down more than 50% (today the PP is $0.04).
My questions to you are
1. Does this company still exists, and
2. What is being done to correct this?
Concerned,
Charles T (investor)

It might be interesting to note that the 8-K is due this month, which will certainly provide a clue as to what's going on at AVHC. In addition, a PR or two wouldn't be out of the question considering that they've now had a little time to start getting their ducks in a row.
According the Joe P there is about 10MM shares in the public flaot (..pretty small amount for a BB'r..), and some of that may have been dumped by the two yayhoos who are no longer assocaited with the company.
I think I'm going to keep adding shares with my spare change. The potential for the product hasn't changed - big market out there.
Regards,
John
Well. If a hold/accumulate scenario doesn't work for you here - then there only seems to be two viable choices remaining:
1) dump it
or
2) play the daily differential
As I recall, their should be significant News before the end of the year. You might want to call their PR guy in NJ.
John
With 600,000 share in volume, it is at .045...what a POS!
Wait for NEWS...before or after Christmas...
The company is going under and all that is left are the rats!

Perhaps you will feel better about it as the chart you linked to reverses it's trend. AVHC appears to be showing some signs of attempting to do that this morning..:
As I recall, it is the intent of AVHC's management to be able to show some significant progress around the end of the year, through JAN04. That would probably be a good test (considering the meeting two weeks ago) as to whether one should continue to collect and hold beyond that point.
If you hear anything let us know.
Good luck.
John
I believe this says it all

Hi Chuck,
If you can find some overt evidence of a scam - please share it with us. The company had it's formative policy meeting just two weeks ago, so it may be a bit soon to be expecting miracles.

My only question is, will AVHC make it to the
Top Ten Scam-of-the-Month list or will it flop in that category too?

Advanced Healthcare Technologies, Inc. Announces Letter to Shareholders Highlighting Company Developments
OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 6, 2003--Advanced Healthcare Technologies (OTCBB:AVHC) today announced that Randall Sulhoff of Omaha, Nebraska has issued the following letter dated October 6, 2003 to the shareholders.
Dear Shareholders:
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Advanced Healthcare Technologies, Inc., I would like to take this opportunity to report on my first month as your CEO and on the present "state of our business."
The last few weeks have been extremely exciting in forging new relationships as we continue executing our business plan. As mentioned in previous press releases, we are undergoing several new corporate developments that will fast-forward our position in the global arena.
The corporate office has been moved to Omaha, Nebraska, with changes made with our management communications, an automated ordering and inventory system, a central accounting, dealer involvement and 100% influence towards customer relationship management.
At the end of September, AVHC contracted with Mr. Frederic Schwab as our European sales and marketing manager, headquartered in Germany. AVHC announced an exclusive licensing agreement with FSI Nutrition for Hyper-02/p. Hyper-02/p is an amino acid product, which has been shown in medical research, to supplement tissue rejuvenation in conjunction with the Hyperbaric Chamber.
In addition to new changes and new product lines, AVHC has two (2) acquisition targets. Both will enlarge the combined entities, annual revenues, plus tax credits and assets for the company.
In regards to manufacturing, the Topical Hyperbaric Chamber is being re-designed by our founder Phillip Loori. Mr. Loori has started the process of filing both US and International patent applications for his new Disposable Flexible Topical Hyperbaric Oxygen Extremity Chamber. The unit being flexible will allow for ease of operation in treating nursing home patients as well as for patients being treated in home care.
AVHC plans to begin three separate clinical studies in its efforts to obtain Medicare approval for its Topical Hyperbaric Therapy Products. These studies will quantify the results AVHC is currently seeing in the patients being treated.
Phillip Loori, CEO of AVHC's subsidiary Advanced Hyperbaric Technologies, Inc. is involved in ongoing discussions with several companies in the wound care and oxygen field who have national sales forces in place in an effort to form a strategic marketing partnership. Forming an alliance with one these companies will give AVHC a national sales presence immediately at a minimal cost.
During the coming weeks we will continue to work diligently on the completion of all agreements and pursuing every opportunity. We remain focused on the long-term success for Advanced Healthcare Technologies, Inc. as a business for our shareholders, our customers, our employees and global medical industry where we do business. We have reached a point in our Company's history where truly the future is upon us. Thank you for your continued support.
God bless with Joy and Fulfillment Everyday.
Sincerely,
Randall L. Sulhoff, CEO, Advanced Healthcare Technologies, Inc.

It was holding at the 0.05 level prior to the run to 0.15, so I suppose it will flutter around the current level until we start to get positive PRs, etc. Randy Sulhoff is out there on the road making it happen, which is a lot better than a CEO parked at his desk answering investor phone calls.
I tend to agree that it's a real Buy-Op at these levels. The impression I got from my inquiries was that by DEC/JAN there would be some signifiacnt progress.
This is a Buy-&-Holder for me, but like any penny stock you need to keep watch for manipulated bogus MRXT-like bashes, etc. I don't see the potential for that with AVHC, and I have no personal reason to babysit this every day.
Good luck,
John
Hi John,
sorry for the delay. Haven't logged in for a while, because I was moving to a new house and had to wait to get internet access.
I cannot post on that board without premium subscription. But the answer to your enquiry is yes.
What do you think of AVHC's latest development? I have no worries about the longterm outlook. However, I am looking for a opportunity to buy more shares on the cheap. Do you think it will go down a little further?
I do not expect the share price to remain at the current low for much longer.
Cheers,
Markus
mmayr,
Since your message was a combination of apparent bashes intended for spamming on two different boards, it has been removed. Try again if you like.
John
Attached is the valid portion of mmayr's message for your consideration: "...They are not that difficult to heal. 220 mg ZcSo4--, 500 mg Vit C bid. . .MVI c Minerals 1 po qd, Oxandra 20 mg QD and proper turning and attending to the patient.. .do a fine job along with restoration of serum albumin levels (20 gms of BCAAs QD). . .requiring adequate intake po for the necessary nutrients for wound healing. Mechanisms like that promoted on this site are not medically reimbursed in Long Term Care. Plus, Stasis ulcers and vascular wounds have no blood circulating to the area (the KEY to wound healing). Without the nutrients for muscle regeneration you can blow all the O2 you want into a wound. . .and it won't heal...."
ps: Please note that mmayr has a personal bone to pick with me on a stock that he overbought. He is involved in medical therapy services of some kind, to the best of my knowledge. However, I do not believe that he is not a graduate or licensed Physician. I would suggest that references to hyperbaric treatment as explained and recommended by notable Doctors is available via a Google search. It might be helpful to review such information in lieu of mmayr's sour grapes.
Advanced Healthcare Technologies, Inc. Announces the Acquisition of an Exclusive License to Market Hyper-O2/p
OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 2003--Advanced Healthcare Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:AVHC) today announces execution of an Exclusive Licensing Agreement with FSI Nutrition of Omaha, Nebraska, to market a proprietary amino acid Hyper-O2/p for tissue regeneration and improved wound healing.
Randall Sulhoff, President of Advanced Healthcare, stated that Hyper-O2/p is a proprietary product developed by FSI Nutrition, a leader in the sports nutrition supplement business and the developers of effervescent creatine and effervescent tyrosine. "We are very interested in any products and processes which complement our oxygen therapy products and will continue to add additional products in health and well being."
Hyper-O2/p
Hyper-O2/p is a nutraceutical food developed by FSI Nutrition exclusively for Advanced Healthcare Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:AVHC). Prior to this product the only way to administer these nutrients was intravenously. This good tasting drink has been shown in medical research to supplement tissue rejuvenation in hospital studies which required an injection. Mr. Sulhoff stated, "We believe a regimen of Hyper-O2/p in conjunction with the hyperbaric chamber will accelerate tissue restoration."
Proprietary manufacturing processes and patent-pending technology were used to solve this dosing problem. Hospitals, prior to this development, had to mix this material in IV bags or by direct injection. Now a patient can mix up this drink themselves and drink prior to treatment. This material is designed to increase amino acid levels in proportion to your body's needs, pre and post treatment. This amino acid product is a potent protein synthesis effector. Protein synthesis is critical in muscle and tissue regeneration. This formula has been shown to increase amino acid delivery to tissues by 650%, when digested prior to therapy.

Here are links to the S-8, and the associated S-8/POS; an amendment to the original S-8. Both of these were filed several months ago. You may have to sign up at secinfo.com to read the data..:
a) S-8: http://www.secinfo.com/duV3u.21v.htm - 3.3MM shares @ 0.04
b) S-8/POS: http://www.secinfo.com/duV3u.22g.htm - 2.0MM shares @ 0.05
The aggregate registration of 5.3MM shares is obviously being used to give new management a reason to bust hump and make a "go" of AVHC, in lieu of ridiculous salaries. I would also [resume that some shares will be used to the cover expenses of any typical new business.
Considering the total O/S count of 16MM shares, the situation certainly doesn't give me any heartburn. But, there it is for everyone to see.
Here is the secinfo link to all the AVHC filings: http://www.secinfo.com/$/SEC/Registrant.asp?CIK=1128949

ps: Any reposting of the above information, in "..disruptive bash-mode..", will be treated as SPAM.
That would also tend to explain why AVHC moves so well on very little volume. So, whoever the yayhoo ( or MFMMM ) is who was selling (or Shorting ) it really doesn't mean much.
Joe P said all the selling was coming from NITE. Based on what we know about that crap-hole outfit, I'm certainly willing to stick around and see what comes out of the meeting, etc.

Well, that accounts for roughly 2MM of the 16MM O/S. Presuming that Freedie Schwab, Phil Loorie and Randy Sulhoff each have about 2MM - the 10MM O/S is pretty tightly held.

Thanks for the tip!

John,
exactly my opinion. DD is vital, but is never a guarantee. Would be all too easy if it were.

Bill,
Thank you for your input, but your recent posts give the impression that AVHC just filed a new S8. However, the S8 and S8 POS wrere filed on 25.04.2003 and 14.07.2003 respectively.
IMO these stocks have already been absorbed by the market. I agree that releasing more shares into the market has negative effects on the price per share.
Please do not post old news as if they are new - regardles if the news are positive or, as in this case, negative.
This is just as inappropriate as hyping or bashing a stock.
This company has potential and they obviously figured out that they are desperately need changing the performance of their board, as happened on September 9th.
If you have a position here, I wish you good luck. If not, please do not bash a stock, because you obviously have some negative experience with one poster.
Good Trading!
Cheers,

The S-8s were apparently needed to provide liquidity to advance the business and attract someone like Fredrick Schwab in Germany to become a working partner with AVHC. As one may also discover, with a little personal effort, there are NO death-spiral CDs or other forms of Mickey Mouse financing associated with AVHC. As with any equity on any exchange, if you don't like what you see - don't buy any.
The S-8s both occured around the $0.12 level as I recall, during the run up to $0.15. And, they seemed to have been taken in stride since the price stabilized around $0.14 for some time. According to Joe P., the current float for AVHC is about 10MM shares - which seems a drop in the bucket compared to other companies in this price range who usually offer vaporware vs. an effective and needed medical device.
The opinions I shared with Chuck yesterday werre based on information provided by Joe P., the company's IR rep. Anyone who wishes to call Joe, or Randy and Phil can obviously do so. If you don't like the information provided to questions asked, your most obvious option is to do your own damn homework.
There is a major meeting scheduled soon where all the AVHC staff, including "Freddie" Schwab, will get together in NJ and subsequently inform us of the ongoing efforts and long term plans.
DYODD, and make your own best decisions. I look at the current situation as a "..Buy-Op..", becuase most mini-MicroCaps seem to take a MFMMM greed-dip before they start going higher, if that's not your experience then play your hand the way you read it.
FWIW: If iHub had the RB position option, mine would be marked: "..Long, Buy, Hold..".

Hi Chuck,
Relax, Dude. Someone who bought around .04 or .05 a few months ago is selling through NITE. It's simply generating a good Buy-Op for us.
There's supposed to be some kind of a big pow-wow on the East Coast in the next 10 business days. We should get some good news and PR coming out of that. I understand that Fred Schwab is flying in from Germany to attend.
Joe Pettinelli, the PR guy, suggested some DD on Schwab. He apparently has quite a resume of succesful company developments.

ps: Yahoo is still quoting AVHC as AVHCE - which obviouly doesn't help. I send them a feedback to correct that, but you could to, if you want to help speeed up the process: http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/us/fin/cgi_moneymanager?from_url=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch2%2Ecc%2Escd%2Eya...

Good news is released and the price drops...I really do believe with all which is happening...the OTC BB is DEAD!
This is not where investments are made...but where people are ripped off...and the SEC and the rest...they are PART of the problem.
Just my opinion...or more to the point...just my B I T C H I N G!!!

FreeRealTime hasn't made the correction yet, but PCQuotes has:

And, there is some buying already.
As soon as Ford-Goodson has had adequate time to get the word out, I would expect product sales should pick up accordingly.

Thanks for your answer and I wish you well with your investment BUT the "E" came off and nothing...maybe the price has more to do with the lack of interest. The medical field is hard for new companies to break into.
The stock market is a scary place these days, and the OTCBB is the "blow hole" if you get my drift. Sometimes a good company will fail here while a "shell" will become the 10 bagger we are all looking for. So my lack of interest is not a put down to the company or their product...just my disbelief that the company will make money for its shareholders.
Charlie T
The 'E' is gone by tomorrow. Check http://www.otcbb.com/asp/dailylist_search.asp?DirectSymbol=AVHCE&OTCBB=True
This company has an enormous potential. The US and EU are biiiig markets. Clinical tests have proven the success of their invention. Once they reach agreement with insurers and national insurances systems in the US and abroad, it will be in every hospital.
The fact that they are quite conservative with their PR shows they are building a real business, unlike other pump and dump stocks, which are driven by over-hyped and unsubstantiated news.
One of the few solid otcbb stocks. IMO
John
I looked into this yet I don't see why you are "HOT" on it. Not a bad idea, but the company just got an "E" and they don't seem to know how to get rid of it...
Charlie
Almost guaranteed...........
I understand that a third party was involved who failed to file a personal SEC form, and the missing reference is what caused the hiccup........

The removal of the E should help the pps.
The AVHC hyperbaric chamber can be used for treating burns:

The Healing Powers of Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment
Oxygen is essential to proper healing of bodily tissues, whether it's skin, muscle or bone. In most cases, the act of breathing combined with a healthy network of veins and arteries provide enough oxygen for body tissues to heal. However, in certain circumstances, hyperbaric oxygen treatment is used to substantially increase oxygen flow within tissues to improve healing.
Patients undergoing hyperbaric treatment are placed in a chamber where 100% oxygen is circulated. The oxygen is pressurized so that air pressure may be 2-3 times greater than normal. This allows the lungs and skin to absorb more concentrated oxygen in a shorter period of time.
Hyperbaric oxygen treatment was originally used to relieve scuba and deep-sea divers of a dangerous condition called decompression sickness or "the bends." While ascending from underwater, nitrogen gas bubbles may form in the lungs, tissues and bloodstream. Blood flow may be blocked, with disastrous results, and blood vessels may be damaged. Hyperbaric treatment neutralizes the effects of nitrogen.
Today, the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society has approved use of hyperbaric oxygen for several other conditions besides the bends. The length and number of treatments depends on the condition and its severity.
Air or Gas Embolism: This is similar to the bends, when air or gas bubbles enter arteries or veins, reducing blood flow and affecting oxygen circulation.
Carbon Monoxide Poisoning: Carbon monoxide (CO), a colorless, odorless gas, is a byproduct of combustion. It binds to red blood cells, blocking delivery of oxygen to the body. Hyperbaric oxygen accelerates the clearance of CO from the body, restoring oxygen delivery and preventing toxic effects on the central nervous system and blood vessels.
Gas Gangrene: This bacterial infection eats away soft tissues, releases toxins into the blood stream and inhibits the body's defense mechanisms. These bacteria prefer low-oxygen concentrations. High doses of oxygen via hyperbaric therapy inhibit bacteria and toxin production.
Crush Injuries: Complications of crush injuries, such as from motor vehicle accidents, falls and gun shots, are very frequent. By increasing oxygen delivery to injured tissues, hyperbaric treatments reduce swelling, improve healing and help fight infection.
Problem Wounds: Wounds may fail to respond to standard care because of low oxygen levels and impaired circulation. Foot ulcers in diabetics are one such problem. By increasing oxygen levels within the wound tissues, hyperbaric therapy promotes healing.
Anemia/Blood Loss: In cases where a patient can't accept a blood transfusion for medical or religious reasons, sufficient oxygen delivery (via red blood cells) might be compromised. Hyperbaric treatment increases the oxygen content of existing red blood cells.
Intracranial Abscess: A sinus infection or bone infection of the skull may form an abscess within the skull or brain. Antibiotics may be ineffective and white blood cells require a minimum oxygen level to kill bacteria. Hyperbaric treatment provides oxygen for white blood cells and inhibits bacteria that need low oxygen levels to grow.
Soft Tissue Infections: These are serious infections -- in which tissue is dying -- that may be complicated by conditions such as diabetes or vascular disease. While primary treatments are removing the infected tissue and administering antibiotics, hyperbaric oxygen may inhibit bacteria from growing and enhance the ability of white blood cells to kill bacteria.
Bone Infections: Osteomyelitis, infection of the bone, that does not respond to standard treatment may benefit from hyperbaric oxygen. It inhibits bacterial growth, increases the killing power of white blood cells and enhances the effects of some antibiotics.
Radiation Therapy Complications: Chronic complications of radiation therapy used to treat cancer may result from scarring and narrowing of the blood vessels. Hyperbaric treatment allows more oxygen to reach these damaged areas and helps prevent tissue from dying for lack of blood and oxygen flow. It is most often used in the head and neck areas.
Skin Grafts: The success of transferred skin grafts or flaps (which might include skin, deeper tissue, muscle and bone) is largely dependent on sufficient oxygen supply to the affected area. Hyperbaric treatment can be used to saturate the area with oxygen before and after grafting.
Burns: Hyperbaric therapy is sometimes used to treat burns to the hands, face or groin area, or for deep second-degree and third-degree burns that cover more than 20% of the patient's body. Hyperbaric oxygen reduces swelling, limits progression of the burn injury (which continues 3-4 days after the initial injury) and may diminish lung damage from inhalation of heat and smoke.
At the Medical College of Wisconsin, researchers are studying hyperbaric therapy for additional uses, alone and in combination with other treatments. Medical College researchers have pioneered the use of hyperbaric oxygen in conjunction with NASA's near-infrared light-emitting diode technology for treatment of hard-to-heal wounds.

According to Joe Pettinelli, AVHC's PR rep, the filing to correct the E-situation has or is being made, and the "E" should go away by Thursday.
Sounds like a plan.
