Nice to see some new ALRT enthusiasts here. After 4+ years of hearing "It's dollar-land any day now" from the same old pumpers and share price not going anywhere, there's new blood to carry us through these months of share price not going anywhere! LOL. GLTUA!
$ALRT holding out strong, grabbed some at the .53 mark so let's wait for the ice to crumble
Been in this ticker long? I'll tell you what happens. Hovers in the 05 to 06 range. Same goes for tomorrow, next week, next month, and probably next year unless Mr. Chan closes a revenue deal someday. That's what happens.
Yeah.. at least that long for myself too.
Wake me up also, when there is real news. Like a revenue deal. Until then, we'll continue to bounce between 05 and 06 for the foreseeable future. Let's just pray Chan doesn't go to massive dilution or we'll have another Airborne Wireless on our hands. Lost plenty on that POS company and stock.
hi :)
scroll through the old i hub postings... others have been here longer... me; 4 years? i'm in a stupor, wake me up if something happens... glty, glta
Really solid close on Friday, hyped to see what comes monday opening!
Anyone care to share thoughts/plays?
I wonder why we've never heard back from Singapore?
Only been here for a few days but i’m very much so enjoying what im seeing with the recent volume movement, and the amount of news coming out in the last week.
Big ups for ALRT, expecting big things here.
I think that this here stocky is a true speculator. What has it been, like 5 years since FDA approval?I think that either this stock is going to be wildly successful or it's going to be a miserable failure.I think we get our our answer over the next several months. This guy Chan has basically put his whole life into this one and the last mile is the hardest.Just hard to believe that if this product is so good, then why is it taking so long?I'm playing a strong hunch here which is why I bought 23k more today.GLTA.
Since we've been in talks with animal healthcare companies since at least August,I wouldn't be surprised if we got an agreement in place at anytime now.If it's gunna happen, the we have to be very close. The research would indicate that strongly.
Dear Mr. Chan,
You've made a fabulous pivot; kudos, sir.
My best wishes to you and your team regarding the successful execution of your plan.
Respectfully, please consider changing your alr logo, or even better, fabricate a fresh, 21st century, glucurve logo... preferably incorporating a stlyized dog and cat wearing the glucurve unit... show the animals smiling and happy.
I've recently finished a 22yr career and looking forward to the next 22. No rush specifically. I'm needful of the right 'fit' for this next stretch. Willing to explore creative solutions and am a long time ALRT shareholder.
If interested, please email jammastermike at hot mail
Way to go Mr. Chan!!
glty, glta
Doesn't seem to be leaving much of an impression on traders today. I think this will hover in the 05 to 06 range until there is some real revenues news, or investors become convinced that the company isn't going anywhere.
I'm still hanging like the rest... GLTUA
Agreed. This is strong. And suggests they are closing in on launching in this market. Appears they will dominate this market.
ALR Technologies Releases Select Results from Market Research on Diabetic Pet Industry; Market Demand High for Innovation
*GluCurve™ is the world’s first continuous glucose monitor (CGM) for diabetic dogs and cats
*GluCurve™ eliminates need for manual, costly and cumbersome “glucose curves” that are today’s standard of care
*2017 AVMA Report shows between 28,000-32,000 veterinary practices in U.S.
*97% of DVM survey respondents indicated they’d use a pet CGM system to diagnose and manage diabetic dogs and cats as soon as available
(October 21, 2021 -- Singapore) ALR Technologies (“ALRT” or the “Company”) (OTCQB: ALRT), the diabetes management company, is pleased to release select results from comprehensive market research conducted by the consulting firm SmartPharma, evaluating the current approach to diabetes diagnosis, glucose monitoring and insulin treatment in cats and dogs. The conclusions speak strongly about the market demand for innovation to modernize the arcane standard of care today, which ALRT interprets as highly favorable for introducing the GluCurve™ Pet CGM (continuous glucose monitoring) as a simple, accurate, reliable and pain-free system to treat the approximately 4.5 million diabetic dogs and cats worldwide.
GluCurve™ is the world’s first and only CGM for cats and dogs. Once applied to the pet, it automatically collects blood glucose readings every 5 minutes for up to 14 days. Over the course of 24 hours, 288 data points are transmitted via Bluetooth to the pet owner’s synchronized device and then to the ALRT portal where the data is analyzied and presented to the veterinarian to quickly and effortlessly facilitate optimal care.
“The market research included veterinarians from across the United States and ranged from small private practices to large corporate clinics, and the responses were simply fantastic, as they validated our contention that GluCurve™ would fill a large void in animal health care,” commented Sidney Chan, Chairman and CEO of ALR Technologies. “We have developed a turnkey system that eliminates pain points across the complete spectrum of diabetic pet care by bringing cutting edge technology into the companion animal market, a development vets, pets and pet owners can all appreciate. We look forward to the commercial launch of GluCurve™ as the survey indicated that the veterinary clinics will be making orders from the outset.”
Background
SmartPharma was commissioned for, amongst other things, the purpose of gaining preliminary product concept for the GluCurve™ Pet CGM, including the evaluation of attribute tradeoffs that could increase or decrease utility and use, as well as determining expected uptake and ongoing use of a novel CGM product designed specifically for DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) use in cats and dogs.
Typically, for each pet diagnosed with diabetes, a DVM will perform a “glucose curve,” an unpleasant day-long process involving multiple blood draws that must be repeated throughout the year to determine a proper insulin dosing regimen. Due to the inevitable stress of the process on the pets, blood glucose data is often skewed, driving costs higher and creating challenges with accurate insulin prescriptions.
Leveraging leading technology developed by ALRT for monitoring and managing diabetes in humans, including all requisite hardware and software to consistently deliver accurate results, GluCurve is redefining the standard of care in diabetic companion animals by providing precise and effortless glucose readings while the pet is in the comfort of their home. The system is expected to come with the added benefit of being competitively priced below the average cost of in-clinic glucose curves or using a human CGM off-label.
Brian Zorn, Pharm.D., co-founder and managing partner, SmartPharma LLC commented, “In over a decade of conducting market research on new products with clinicians of all types, the veterinarian ratings on likelihood to use this product were among the highest we have ever seen.”
4 Key Takeaways from Market Research:
Large market opportunity
a. On average, DVMs interviewed had 43 dogs and cats under care for diabetes in past 12 months. b. DVM participants evaluate ~15-20 dogs and cats per month for diabetes, with a median of new diagnoses of 2 dogs and 1 cat monthly
DVMs desperate for reliable data a. 40% of DVMs surveyed have tried FreeStyle Libre (a human CGM) on a dog or cat b. FreeStyle Libre not approved or designed for animals
c. Despite associated risks, perception is that data from FreeStyle Libre is still better than in-clinic glucose curves
Multiple factors driving high interest from DVMs for GluCurve
a. Better for pet
b. Higher quality data
c. Easier to use (CGM application, data collection, analysis)
d. Affordable – 80% of DVMs surveyed said proposed price was “reasonable” or “too low”
DVMS surveyed had overwhelmingly favorable impression of GluCurve product
a. 97% of respondents indicated they would use GluCurve
b. DVMs expected to order, on average, 5 units once commercially available, with those managing larger diabetic pet populations indicating orders in larger quantities
“Our position from the beginning has been that a comprehensive pet CGM product has blockbuster potential,” commented Joe Stern, Head of Animal Health at ALR Technologies. “The market research demonstrates that it is not just us saying that; it is the DVMs. Between their reported 97% adoption rate and the size of the market, we are very optimistic about the potential revenue and value the GluCurve™ Pet CGM will bring to ALRT and our shareholders.”

More great news released on their website!
Nice run today boys, lets keep up the good work!
I agree, once they actually start selling their stuff it’ll go nuts.
Hopefully people can catch the wave in the meantime
Nice to see some enthusiasm in this stock, will be huge in due time
ALRT Is in a space at the moment projected to be worth 25.9B USD. in due time, I anticipate to see growth in ALRT, relevant to the sector or not.
They have a really cool story, and I'm sold.
Good luck to you Buzz!
last one, unfortunately there may well be a, 'we'll believe it when we see it' sentiment in the i-hub eco-sphere... i'm well in the green, have been for years, and sticking around for the big reveal.
glty, glta!
Yeah exactly, nice to get a look behind the curtains. When the market picks up on this big pharma deal for animal health i think we’ll finally see a huge lift in price. I cant believe its not getting any attention on ihub.
Good points! Presales showed 2023 . sales before that would be even better. Hopefully investors will stay patient and hold. Looking forward to the announcements. The nice part is its all out there on paper now. No more being in the dark on what’s going on with the company
The timeline says pre-launch with pilot line in September 2022 so i read that as sales will start then. But im more interested in the pharmaceutical partnership being finalized as early as February.
The last PR said they were buying a stake in the pet cgm, with a global market size of 4.5 million pets, and the 97% adoption rate (per presentation) the amount of money they could get for a stake in the pet cgm could be hundreds of millions of dollars…
Imagine the stock price if they announce a partnership with Boehinger Ingelheim, Merck, or Zoetis?? All of them are worth hundreds of billions of dollars
Yes things are looking up, but its the time line that’s horrible. 2 more years to wait for launch. I would expect the SP to bleed down slowly . unfortunately..
This PR is actually remarkable, it says: new website, new investor deck, a bunch of new hires, CEO says they are at an inflection point that will transform the company, and a constant flow of announces is coming the future weeks/months.
Doesn't get much better then that IMO
Glad to see their PR hit the news wire
“a consistent flow of announcements providing ALRT investors a transparent view of our developments over the coming weeks and months.”
“ALRT is at an inflection point, moving forward with high-level negotiations and due diligence processes that will be transformational to the fundamentals of our company”

The news out on the website is that we will have future news out.. well better than no news at all
I’m not giving up on ALRT. It still has value. I’ve lost everything in a couple failed IPOs. I figure I have 20 years left. Hopefully ALR comes thru before then.
I feel for ya buddy. I stuck in way too long with ABWN. Lost $10K on that POS. All kinds of fools pumping that ticker, including TV ads on FOX News - not to mention folks here on Investors Hub.
I bought in 1999 or 2000. Don’t recall the exact date but it was in the dollar range back then.
Buzz - I don't recall seeing this ticker above around 14¢ some years ago. If this ever hit a dollar and I could off-load my 1/4 mil shares... well you know the rest! GLTU!
I did, AON. I'm in at 0349.
Did you put in your GTC sell @$0.07? That would make sense if you bought at $0.035 or lower. Double your money. I bought much of mine when it was in the dollar range. I can’t get out now, I’d lose money.
I agree completely. Going on 5 years now for myself, and I know others have held this a lot longer. I am hoping that I can exit around 07. Maybe a couple of head-fake PR's can get us there. But not holding much hope on real progress. Real progress is revenues. ALRT has a product. Where are the revenues? I'm not criticizing the company or Chan. I just don't like holding onto a prayer for 10 years only to find out my investment has gone up in smoke. Been there, done that.
Now maybe our #1 cheerleader for ALRT can provide some snotty comment, like he's God's gift to trading and speculative investments... and I'm just some dumbf*ck that doesn't appreciate his superior intelligence and superiority. LOL
I’m in it too long to give up now. But it is time to stop watching, hoping, and ignore this. My gut tells me the boys in big pharma are buying time to beat the patent and launch their own software platforms. They have the time, money and influence to bury ALRT in legal battles. Just my opinion.
Disappointing to say the least, giving this till December
Thought by now we’d see revenue data from Singapore sales. Or updates from our Animal Health team.
LOL. Dollarland any day now, right jammastermike? Yeah. Any day now.
Lol. He does exist, and I have personally talked to him quite a few times over the past few months. I can tell you he is actively working on a lot of potentially great things and is truly staying busy behind the scenes. How long will some of this take is anyones guess, hopefully sooner rather than later. Either way though, I am excited for what the future may hold for ALRT!
Agreed, this is a huge improvement.
Website Makes the company look very legit and transparent
