ABB - bouncing back up? choppy chart up and down...
clay, can we get a ABB Annotated Chart?
tia
ABB - looking to add...
ABB - very choppy up and down....
ABB - Dow 7500 on the come...???? All gaps will be filled everywhere...LOL!
Talk about gaps...very harsh gaps down...will conceed that those ;ower gaps are definitely like a magnet in this downtrend..
ABB - Gaps in the midst of the downtrend pulling hard on this one...Decline way oversold...will rebound hard...
its going down based on lousy market pressure...filling the gaps are a by product...many stocks w/o gaps are going down. I don't have a problem with gap theory but in a bear everything pulls back pretty much...we can argue all day on that one...but no need...
abb it is a route back down to the nines or low 10's to fill all the gaps
the thing is gaps always matter in my book. the gap theory was laid out for you plainly. it does not work on fundamentals that you so called fundamentalists like to peg it on. it is solely technical in nature. big traders could wipe out a market maker specialist so they gap through these traders and use them later to make money off of on the way down as they are short from higher levels. obviously the mm specialist is afraid of abb and there are many big traders who want the stock only at their price gtc. a specialist is a market maker and the gaps are even worse with these specialists than nasdaq mms.
the point is if the market tanks the gaps wont matter...No theory is w/o exception or is absolute...lets not even try to argue that one...If the dow goes back to 7500 the gap between 10 and 10>80 will be filled...I would submit to you it was not filled by the gap theory just market collapse...If that gap gets filled wwhile the dow hoovers between 8200 and 9000 then I submit to the gap theory on that one.....
GAP THEORY works on every stock not just penny stocks. gaps are created by scared mms and big traders with gtc trades when retail buyers (suckers)quit buying mms short it back down to the bigger traders laying in the weeds or gaps. simple . don't try to complex it up.
If the market collapses it would not matter if there are gaps or not the stock would fall...I believe the gap theory works best in the penny world...ABB is headed for great times. Infrastructure ventures are going to be the in thing all around the world... America says so...
still watchin to see if those nasty gaps fill if the market sells off one more time
ABB - Went with the market flow today. It was nasty out there...But a little breather aint bad..
ABB - nice...still not in the powerzone..slow and steady toward the 100 DMA...
ABB - a little rest before the next leg up...its still all good..
ABB - Still riding under the 100 DMA but definitely on the uptick...
ABB successfully tests ultrahigh voltage transformer in China
It is reported that ABB has successfully tested a new type of transformer that is a key component of power superhighways, or power links that can deliver vast amounts of electricity over very long distances.
As per report, ABB developed the 800 kilovolt transformer within 1 year of winning a major order to equip the ultrahigh voltage direct current transmission corridor from the Xiangjiaba hydropower plant in western China to Shanghai. It is the world’s highest voltage power link and will have a record capacity of 6,400 MW, capable of supplying about 31 million people.
The transformer is the first of several ordered by the State Grid Corporation of China and is a critical element of the systems that ABB is supplying to convert AC current to DC and back and to alter the voltage at each end. Among other challenges, raising the voltage to as much as 800 kV increases the technical requirements on a transformer's insulation and on the design of critical parts such as bushings.
Mr Bernhard Jucker head of ABB’s Power Products division said that "The cooperation between ABB and SGCC has played a key role in this success, which is further evidence of ABB’s commitment to technology and innovation. UHVDC technology enables more efficient use of renewable energy sources, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and cutting carbon dioxide emissions."

ABB - Still crawling up to that 100 DMA...
ABB - interesting gap up...don't like the black candle...but for today green aint bad
ABB - battled for the above $14 close there at the end... Will probably rock back and forth like that for the rest of the year..

It has already turned down...trading well under its technical levels...all the news you speak of is no longer news. Company seeking its natural level as with many others... Where some see crisis, others see opportunity..
T..
heard they have legal problems and chart looks like it could turn down.
:) can't argue that
Got to disagree with you on one part of your post. ABB is not a good company. It is a GREAT one. GO ABB!!!
