Thanks for pointing that out, easy to get off track from the Board Agenda.
I’m seeing a lot of charts posted that clearly are not pinchers. Please examine the parameters that make a pincher. There must be a pinch shaping up with the PPO ADX indicators. The ADX should be at a min above 30, 40 preferred.

SNDL formed a gravestone doji reversal pattern... Good earnings expected after market on Thursday (14th) prior quarter was very good as well. From reviewing the prior moves it is shorted and knocked down daily for around 15 days this time only 11 due to earnings. SNDL then moves up 100% taking multiple days the last one taking 9 days. Optimistically, I am expecting the same unless there is short squeeze like AMC and Gamestop, which is expected at sometime of SNDL then "the Sky is the Limit". Heavy naked shorting out of the Dark Pool which is allowed and consists of Market Makers (allowed by SEC).
Today in the AM they let it run from .566 to .622 then ran all the way back down for a 90% daily retracement. It hit and went slightly above the upper linear regression band which as I write is at .6213. Also TRIX (3,) turning on the daily.

Another thought to share - Dilution Machines ...
Many stocks are dilution machines that may have the best light bulb but may be years away from market, etc.
So be cognoscente of what they are and that they typically are not a long-term hold.
Real easy to fall in love with these stocks because of their new product story which may have all the merit in the world as with NVCN.
The way to identify them is minimal Revenue or more easily from a long-term chart.
Here is a classic:
NVCN is around .40 and was as high as 10,120 accounting for reverse splits.
https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=NVCN&p=D&yr=10&mn=0&dy=0&id=p31332042270
PTE kind of falls into that category and these stocks are usually pharmaceutical stocks that on average take 7 to 9 to go through trials and bring a product to market.
https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=PTE&p=D&yr=10&mn=0&dy=0&id=p46634994328
See the belthold candle sticks, focus on the up candles. This was typical for SNDL and VEON. What it means is that there is enthusiasm for the stock and the shorts let it run usually in the morning then they slam it down.
Though a bit difficult you can day trade these situations. Selling in the AM or Pre-market and buying back once they have dropped it significantly.
Easier to do if the stock is moving up. Try paper trades to see if it will work.
Looks like in the case of NEW they do it all the time however, low volume may make this strategy difficult to execute.
Also, ULT on my chart indicates that it is entering being oversold. Sorry if I repeat but I use the RSI(14) and or ULT to identify if the stock is oversold (one or both). Got burnt on a stock that was not oversold and was a falling knife beginning pincher that I thought was a mature pincher. So had to develop a mechanism to test for an oversold condition.

Bullish Harami reversal pattern for PTE.

AGRX Falling Knife, adx 39
ATHX Falling Knife adx 34

Just an FYI reminder:
In my chart the black OBV line is breaking behind and lower than the price and in many cases this has signaled the end of a falling knife at least temporarily. Also, CCI and RSI 5 need to move upward and RSI 14 and ULT indicate very oversold condition.
In the case of PTE all are performing properly and OBV bounced.

gltu....risk - reward.............
Here's another that might be ready to pop (I am also long in this stock):
https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=CYN&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p53241929815
Thanks. I'm mostly staying clear of the markets (got a ton sitting in money market losing money to inflation).
But here's one that might be ready to go (and I have been buying it including yesterday): https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=STRN&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p27329914299
And I know it sounds crazy and it isn't a pincher, but I've been loading up on HHSE. I think they are finally going to file Form 10 and launch a new streaming service MyFlix. Very high risk situation, but also high reward.
But I'm really wary about the general market -- and have been so for too long.

Thanks! I hope you made as much on this as I did!
For a while there, I was seeing too many pinchers to play them all.
Looks like all Market indices are turning down so will be a difficult market for pinchers maybe select ones will go up. You can check post and pre-market activity on your watchlist to isolate the select few that may be positive and go up.
CLEU..................https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=CLEU&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p89458561652
VEON moved fairly nice today will see if it will hold...
"Dark Pool" shorted per stock twits,
https://stocktwits.com/symbol/VEON
Once again these are naked shorting by Market Makers allowed by the SEC. I have found that frequently they let the stock run up briefly in the morning a couple of reactions then hammer it, let it run a bit during the day and slam the stock especially in the last 10 minutes of trading (not always but shows on a 15 minute chart - has to be moving up for them to do this).
So if you can do counter trades basically "sell high" "buy low" you can make money. Reminder, if SELL and then BUY (same stock) during the day NOT considered a Day Trade, where as BUY and SELL same stock during the day is a Day Trade. Reason being in the SELL / BUY scenario you bought the stock in the prior day - hope it makes sense, TDA explained it to me.
Also, if you look at the up candles they typically are belthold candles indicating the slam from the high.
You should watch it once, picking up 5 or 10 cents gets compounded rapidly.
I meant by “still holding” that the price is still holding up and not tanking. Bouncing off support.
Split funds between SNDL and VEON today.
Yes, still holding VEON but trading in and out when I can.
Moscow markets opened today had minimal effect.
Ceasefire would probably have a beneficial effect.
Expecting good earnings out of SNDL tomorrow was a Hi-Wave pull back and forming a pivotal candlestick.
It’s Still holding , possible for a new run.
NEW.....................https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=NEW&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p89458561652
Well VEON turned out poorly hopefully a normal pincher pullback.
Just an FYI VEON after closing at .65 moved up to .73 to.74 in After Hours.
So far CNBC have turned down or red were green earlier today.
Glenn they look nice. I will be stuck in VEON next week or so and entirely focused their as I have already made decent profits.
I think it should start an explosive trip tomorrow but not without pull backs. If there is a ceasefire than no telling how high it could go.
Wishful thinking.
MULN...............https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=MULN&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p89458561652

PPO & ADX
Definitions:
The PPO (Percentage Price Oscillator) is a momentum indicator that tells us the percentage, above or below the long-term indicator, that a stocks price falls. So, when the PPO ‘pinches’ it was at -40%. This means that the stock was trading -40% below is long-term average price. It was grossly oversold.
The ADX(Average Directional Index) is an indicator that shows the strength of a trend. Measured on a scale from 0 to 100, values below 20 are considered weak and values above 40 are considered strong. It is important to understand that the ADX does not indicate whether a trend is bullish or bearish only it’s strength

People often think that pinchers are only for BUY signals and not SELL signals unless the candle breaks down the MA(20). If someone tells you this, please remember that Soapy told you to slap such people and call them an idiot to their face. Also people often think that the PPO/ADX pincher is the king of pinchers (which may be true) but such pincher plays require the MA(20) to be your "golden egg" stop loss. But this too is utter nonsense when playing a pattern given a pincher. For example, consider the chart below for Deckers Outdoor Corporation in which a rising wedge can be seen using the green trendlines. As we all know, such a wedge is inherently bearish and needs a sound exit as to retain a profit. But how does a pincher tell you when to exit?
Unlike entry, which can be a total pain, the exit is quite simple to nail given the ability to look beyond the ADX/PPO pincher which has NO INFORMATION on when to exit other than: "Oops, we hit the MA(20) and I just lost considerable gains. DOH! I feel like I rode FFGO and GLCC back to 0.0001!" Since we're here to make money, we don't want to be the MA(20)-idiot that gave up 30% of profit due to an ineffective stop loss methodology. Thus we should consider appealing to a pincher as a signal to jump ship and take profits. The trick to this is to look at the PVO/STO pinch as a signal to exit. The chart below illustrates how to find such a pinch and is pretty much the entire story. So, please keep in mind that an ADX/PPO pinch may tell you when to enter, but the PVO/STO tells you when to exit if and only if you can define a pattern for the candlesticks. Also, for those who want to exit at the top of a swing, notice how the exit keeps you above the MA(20); an exit leaving more profit in your pocket.
Happy Trading.
