Once again these are naked shorting by Market Makers allowed by the SEC. I have found that frequently they let the stock run up briefly in the morning a couple of reactions then hammer it, let it run a bit during the day and slam the stock especially in the last 10 minutes of trading (not always but shows on a 15 minute chart - has to be moving up for them to do this).
So if you can do counter trades basically "sell high" "buy low" you can make money. Reminder, if SELL and then BUY (same stock) during the day NOT considered a Day Trade, where as BUY and SELL same stock during the day is a Day Trade. Reason being in the SELL / BUY scenario you bought the stock in the prior day - hope it makes sense, TDA explained it to me.
Also, if you look at the up candles they typically are belthold candles indicating the slam from the high.
You should watch it once, picking up 5 or 10 cents gets compounded rapidly.
