Why buy this stock?
10Q.. convertible notes payable of $7,246,861... and clock is ticking to 2010...
SG&A are way too high! $2 million first 6 months! WOW... At this rate $4 mil/yr... all those options!!!Near a $1 mill/yr is salary!
This company will fail shareholders unless Revenues reach what I calculate.... maybe take out options... If ops exp stay as is... and normal about 20 - 25%... Revenues are going to need to top $6 million....
This is very bad too... We expect to continue to incur slotting fees in the future and therefore net sales will be substantially less than gross sales.
I predict PPS will drop to a penny or so...
Wonder if Skinner signed person guarantee against his home.. and other assets?
Scalp if you can only IMO
I would expect 3Q numbers to release mid-August with a moderate to substantial increase in revenues. 4Q numbers, which we probably won't see until mid-Decemeber, will definetly show a large increase in revenues over Q3. Barring any news I wouldn't expect any upward movement in the stock until we get closer to the beginning of August.
So far this year the overall market has not been good but the microcap market has been especially brutal even for stocks further along the revenue and profit path than Amish Naturals.
2Q numbers looked good and balance sheet is solid w/ $1.8mm cash. Appears there are still a lot of unexercised warrants but they won't provide any resistence until the stock is much higher.
I see AMNT did not let me down - price is DOWN 50% from my last post - or should I say the day I got the tout letter in the mail on AMNT,,,, Someone had large amount of shares and they sold over last few weeks ....
What's your guess where the stock is going?
I am not sure it did but that is how it would appear. It is not uncommon for small companies to seek financing by doing private placements w/ LLC's from Europe. Some of these LLC's then have been known to naked short so to speak, using their unregistered shares as unofficial collateral. Not to worry, it is normally only a one-time hit and the presure on the stock normally lifts quickly with the pps returning to near original levels. Normally the offshore fianancers aren't this wreckless with selling but other traders or MM's may have gotten wind and piled on for a quick short near the end. That would explain the 0.30 bounce from the bottom (covering). The other explaination could be large holder unloading part of a position but this wouldn't seem like a good time to do it with the stock at historic lows. If that was the case I would think you would see a filing post for insider trading in the next week.
More news.
What we’re seeing here looks like the “Amish” part of Amish Naturals Inc. Although this is a “gift” to the community, I wouldn’t be surprised to see this lead to Amish Naturals becoming a spokesman for healthy eating.
“I’m delighted to be involved in an initiative that helps thousands of kids share in the fun of learning to select and prepare delicious foods that enhance their own lives and help their families stay healthy too,” said Executive Chef for Amish Naturals, Stacey DeHass.

Amish Naturals Partners with The Junior League on Renowned Kids in the Kitchen Education Initiative
Amish Naturals Executive Chef will Embark on Tour to Teach Kids About the Importance of Healthy Eating
Natural food products company, Amish Naturals, Inc. (OTCBB:AMNT), will partner with The Association of Junior Leagues International Inc. (AJLI) on its renowned “Kids in the Kitchen” education initiative, the company announced at the 86th AJLI Annual Conference in San Diego, California.
“As a company committed to bring premium food products to the nation’s table that not only taste great, but are truly good for you, our partnership with the Kids in the Kitchen program is a natural fit for us,” said President and CEO of Amish Naturals, David Skinner, Sr.
As part of Amish Naturals’ participation in the program, Stacey DeHass, Amish Naturals’ executive chef, will embark on a city culinary tour to help youngsters learn about healthy eating and involve them in the preparation of their own meals and snacks, including recipes and snacks that serve as a complement to Amish Naturals’ fresh, organic pastas and line of wholesome food products. Tour dates will be announced over the next few months.
“I’m delighted to be involved in an initiative that helps thousands of kids share in the fun of learning to select and prepare delicious foods that enhance their own lives and help their families stay healthy too,” said Executive Chef for Amish Naturals, Stacey DeHass.
“The Junior Leagues are determined to remain in the forefront of this struggle to enable children to take proper care of their bodies and control their future health,” said AJLI President, Sandi Kemmish. “With the help of companies like Amish Naturals, we are able to continue the grassroots Kids in the Kitchen campaign to provide children with hands-on education activities related to nutrition and healthy meal preparation. We believe that education and hands-on involvement are the first steps toward addressing the urgent issues surrounding childhood obesity.”
More than 240 Junior Leagues participate in this grassroots initiative to empower children to adopt healthy lifestyles. Organized in 2006, Kids in the Kitchen responds to the staggering statistic that nearly one-third of children and adolescents in North and South America will be overweight by 2010 and at increased risk of contracting Type II diabetes, high blood pressure, the numerous ailments related to high cholesterol and social problems that affect self-esteem.
The Junior Leagues’ comprehensive website supports the grassroots programs, which are free to participants, with entertaining and educational material focused on childhood health. Because children are more likely to try new foods they have helped prepare, the website features easy-to-make, tasty and nutritious recipes from chefs and celebrities. The website can be found at http://kidsinthekitchen.ajli.org.

You mean the private placement holder is shorting it? Is there any way you can tell with some degree of certainty?
And it moved down fast. A 42% drop in 3 days. Moving back up this morning. Let's hope it's not a dead cat bounce. It must have had to do w/ the private placement because the news has all been possitive and they should be generating revenue. My guess is that the stock may have been placed overseas and the buyer may have gone short, naked all be it but short none the less. It's a way for microcaps to raise cash when there otherwise wouldn't be any big buyers.
LOL. Rough as a cob. Speaking of TP this stock is performing as if it needs some.
This one lasted longer then most, but down it goes as almost all the stuff i get in the mail.
Boy those new Amish granola bars go right through ya. Going to need some of that new Amish natural toilet paper (a big brown bag of corn cobs, assorted sizes).
Thanks for the post I read it.

Available in the cereal aisle, the new line of granola bars will feature four tasty flavor combinations including:

“We unveiled samples of Amish Naturals’ Granola Bars at Expo West just a few weeks ago. The reactions we received were incredible.” said Troy Treangen, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Amish Naturals. “We will start selling our granola items to distributors and customers starting this week. Consumers will find our granola products on store shelves in approximately 8-12 weeks at a price in line with other bars on the market.”

I justed updated the board with the latest short interest info. The number of shares was up only slight but the avg vol was down substanitally so it makes the days to cover appear as a drastic change. This data is from March 15 which is when the AMNT was in the $1.50 range so my guess is that the current short interest level could be closer to 100-150k given current pps.
Well see if it holds and bounces here from $1.15. Otherwise we might see $1.02 again.
