On an unoffical Dell blog, software engingeer Eric G. familiar with maker’s products has posted some the PC core specifications for a Dell XPS 15 laptop for 2012, wearing L521X model name.
The XPS 15 L521X will come with the 3rd Generation Intel Core processors. The listed Ivy Bridge CPUs include the dual-core i5-3210M and quad-core i7-3612QM. Graphics will run on a 15.6? 1080p anti-glare display, with help of 1GB or 2GB dedicated video cards (probably from Nvidia). The notebook will have up to 1TB of traditional HDD storage or up to 512MB solid state drive. The specs reveal that the laptop has an additional miniCard SSD with 32 – 256GB capacity, as well as a built-in DVD burner or Blu-ray combo drive. The battery used in the 2012 XPS 15 will be a nine-cell 65WHr unit and the notebook also has optionally built-in Trusted Platform Module.
