Should still be able to trade. Also, if that is a restriction on the account, the industry just changed to T+2 so technically it's now the "two day rule."
If you have less than 25k in your account you cannot be a pattern day trader and have to wait 3 days for funds to clear. However, if you set up a margin account (and I stress do not use your margin account to borrow money for trading) it will allow you to use the money before the 3 days it takes the money to settle. Keep in mind that you will still not be allowed to day trade more than 3 times in 5 days until you have 25k in your account. You can swing trade as much as you want.
