Have you ever seen sharktank. Mr wonderful always wants royalties instead of equity. Do you know why? Because when royalties are requested there is confidence in the patent, room for improvement.

To me this means pixel is not in need of immediate cash, if so, vert would have sold solaris' tech for money needed to do whatever they would need money for.

If anything, this deal shows there is no debt involved here and that vert can nickel and dime there way to profit over a patents life time.
