I am writing your office in reference to the SEC filing against LAIDLAW ENERGY GROUP, INC., and MICHAEL B. BARTOSZEK, which is before Judge Carter in the Southern District Court of New York. My specific inquiry, insofar as that filing, has to do with MSE Enviro Tech Corp (MEVT - cusip 55354P100). As much as there were many other companies named in that filing, my main concern leans toward MSE and it's mgmt.
I have been a shareholder in MEVT since Oct-Nov of 2009 and hold 100K shares, amounting to just shy of $20K, which I can ill afford to lose, as I am on a fixed income. I purchased those shares over the course of 2009 & 2010 because the company's mgmt represented itself as having the best fire inhibitor on the market, through videos and press releases, with applications being almost too numerous to mention. As it turns out they had nothing and have done nothing to satisfy their shareholders, in any way, shape or form, over the past several years.
In my honest opinion, the same thing was done with Atlantic Wind & Solar, Inc. (cusip 049127103), which was also named in that same filing. Both of which, it just so happens, were conceived and run, once upon a time, along with at least 1-2 other failed publicly traded companies, by the same individual. That person being Giles Trahan. Why he is not also named in the indictment is a mystery and somewhat of a concern to me. Because, as far as I'm concerned, I, along with many others, I'm sure, are due and want restitution from these criminals.
That said, I would appreciate your passing my concerns, along with Mr. Trahan's name, on to the SEC. That, and I would like to hear from someone, either from your office or theirs, as to what shareholders can expect from these proceedings.
