I'm not "taking up for' anybody." What I was trying to convey was, ALRY might have been better suited for private investment than public investment.

You are right about the Kansas oil situation. Any small operation for that matter. I don't think any small O+G company with a few stripper wells is a good investment.

A guy would have to time it right with a good PR, and even then only for a quick bounce and out. Otherwise these small O+G plays (any state) are a losing proposition.
