I can see your point of view.
Let me explain how I follow TONY
Only follow Tony's medium tern
Do not follow Tony's Short or Long term any more.
For Medium Term I look for three words
(1) UP
(2) DOWN
(3) NEUTRAL

PS: Have given up trying to follow Pretzel or any other EWAVER.

PS2: What I try to get from following any one is the "FEEL OF THE MARKET"
