Further DD on 7-6-12 from a Major Shareholder

I didn’t know quite how to title this eventful day but settled on what I’m calling it. Anyway, as a Major Shareholder I thought it was time that I get to know the other’s besides our Great CEO, Raymond Brown. Since I live so closely to Stu Hoebel, I decided to make an unannounced visit and meet Stu. As most, if not all of you know, Stu is the President of Master Lease, Inc. which Energy-1 tried to acquire late last year. Regardless whether that may or may not happen, Stu Hoebel is well established in the trucking industry. I’m not going to go into any details as to his relationship with Energy-1 other than to say he appears to be the integral part of E-1 Leasing and E-1 Owner Operator Services.

I introduced myself to Stu today for the first time as a Very Large Shareholder in Energy-1 Corporation and from there we hit it off. We spoke in his office for about 30 minutes before I took him out for lunch and drinks. While at lunch I met a few of his close friends which are local business owners too. After a 1 hour lunch and a few beers Stu and I got to become pretty good friends. I even got an invite to go to Lake Powell on Stu’s houseboat next month with the guy’s!

Getting back to business, I wanted to see everything so Stu took me on a tour of the facilities he utilizes in conjunction with his Truck Leasing business. I wanted to scope out a facility for our retrofitting installations. Let me also state that I’m not going to be putting anything out here that either shareholders or whoever can dig into and bother anyone, or ruin a potential business deal in the making. The first place Stu took me to, was a large machine shop that could accommodate about 10-12 trucks indoors and I saw about 6 mechanics. The exterior yard area could hold approx. 100 trucks. Stu pointed out two of his trucks that were being worked on and told one of the guys another was coming on Tuesday. The next place we stopped at was a metal fabrication / paint shop where I met Russ, a very knowledgeable guy and we all discussed hydrogen systems and retrofitting. This facility could accommodate 3 or 4 trucks and had an exterior yard that could easily hold 50 trucks. Russ impressed me and I’d be inclined to lean toward him for E-1’s initial retrofitting interests.

Next Stu took me to a large building just behind Master Lease that he used to lease. It had about 7 large drive-thru bays that could hold 14 trucks and was for lease. Before heading back to his office we went ¼ mile down the street where he pointed out an emissions facility. All of the facilities we visited were all within ½ mile of each other. BTW….You would think you were in Truck Town USA in this part of the city.

We then went back to Stu’s office and continued our discussions. I’m not going to go into everything we discussed but I will share some pictures that he gave me of our BYT (Big Yellow Truck) and Energy-1’s components. I took many pictures during my visit but those don’t hold the importance as our Energy-1 truck and products. BTW…..I have a standing offer to come back next week or any time I like. I never realized that Stu and I would hit it off so well but I’m glad I made the trip and Stu told me the same thing about 3 or 4 times today.
