I just got off the phone with Shiva --

Our focus was on Philly as per request by jwez. I will try to simplify our technical "nerdy" discussion. According to Shiva, IBM did not deploy the correct switches and they are trying to rectify this as it is causing issues when the hotel is at 100% capacity (i.e. outages).

I asked him if this was apparent during the HOST GM conference, and he said that they were no where close to max so they did not see any glitches. He told me that this is new technology that no one was familiar with but he wasn't too happy with IBM during the GM conference when he found this error out.

They are also working on a "middleware" update (scheduled to be deployed on the week of April 23rd) and an "endware" update for the entire system a few weeks after. That would put us a month from now when the system will be up and running.

A lot of the delay is Marriott themselves. They dictate when changes/updates will happen and may push when they feel they have too many guests in the building. So the date above is tentative.

Unfortunately he was running late for a meeting so we had to cut our convo short. If you have any questions about the Philly install let me know.
