Hey. Sorry I haven't been around, but it's been a busier week than expected. I haven't even read the board, just did a search for my name and saw you were the last one to mention me, so you get the response. I'm actually typing this from my iPad at a rest area while on the road. Hopefully I can catch up on some of the posts this weekend.
I talked with Shiva on the phone Thursday. He answered while in the middle of something, so we didn't talk long. I asked him for a Philly update and he said they are still waiting on IBM for control network patches, or something like that. Also, IBM had a delay on the manufacturing of some switches, or something. Again, I know nothing about the technical aspects so I don't know if I understood that or if it makes sense. Blah? It's hard to know how much is in his hands and how much isn't, especially when I'm not technically well versed. Blah, you should try and reach out more with him.
I asked about the TA not being open and he played dumb. He skirted around. He obviously didn't want to talk about it. He said they are paid up and tried to tell me they don't always give out information to the public. Pfffttt! I told him its public and a subpoena could get the info if the TA wouldn't give it out. He played dumb to that, too.
He did say that there will be a PR soon about a new IR firm and accounting firm. This relates to the recent tweet that went out. All tweets will be by the IR firm, but only what Shiva says. They will be handling the Facebook account, PR's, etc. They just got a new accountant and they are working on the annual, audit, and hope to have the up list next month. I assume this is where the new shares are going. He said the old accountanting firm was a Steve relationship and getting out of those relationships to move on to something better was pretty messy. I didn't probe on that.
As far as news goes, he said we should be getting PR's on Joint Ventures. He also said they are working on an uplink facility and changing to KU band permantly.
That's all I have for now. Hopefully we won't have to wait to long and see too many more shares before we hear more about Marriott, Omni, LNET, gaming industry, etc.
